  1. I never really found Bill Maher funny, but this is actually a pretty good analysis. I've said it lots of times on this forum, but when you take political correctness to militant extremes, the militant counter-reaction is going to be equally extreme, if not more so. At some point, the outrage politics need to end. "TOO BAD" needs to thrown in a lot of people's faces, and regularly. Your marginal problems and feelings are not always society's to solve. "You are offended that I called someone retarded? Too bad, buttercup." "You are offended that I won't refer to someone as zhey, or that you can't wear clown sized fake breasts to teach students? Too bad, buttercup." "You're waving your Bible around and calling women murderers for getting abortions? Too bad, buttercup." "You want restaurants and small businesses to spend tens of thousands of dollars to remodel their bathrooms to service the handicap customer who only comes by once every few months? Too bad, buttercup."

  2. This is just another example of just how little power the UN has...in the article it says Hamas is on board with the agreement, why would they not be, i mean for them it means life...continuation of this war means death...Israel however is not impressed no where in this agreement is it beneficial to them, i mean the UN has no power to enforce anything, with exceptions of sanctions, which do very little, i mean most of the world refuses to do business with Israel already...Not to mention a permanent cease fire...so what happens when Hamas starts to launch rockets again or the next terrorist attack....what happens then is israel allowed back in the gaza to destroy what ever construction has been built... Handing power back over to the Palestinian authority is just another terrorist group...why would they agree to this...Why would the palestinian people agree with this, why because they can't help themselves, they need to be controlled by terrorist... those of you that think there is a difference in terrorist and the palestinian people they are going to show you...in the next election if there is one...who they prefer, and what direction they prefer and it is not peace with Israel...Just a paused in hostilities until the terrorist regroup and recruit more terrorists to continue their ways.... UN Security Council adopts a cease-fire resolution aimed at ending Israel-Hamas war in Gaza (msn.com)

  3. WTF are you thinking here? Hunter Biden broke federal law. Why do you believe we don’t want him prosecuted? Joe Biden could have intervened and didn’t. Joe could pardon him and said he won’t. Democrats aren’t losing sleep over this. In fact, we like the fact that Joe Biden is demonstrating integrity, unlike the POS you cheer on, who has pardoned all of his criminal friends.

  4. WRONG AGAIN!!!! Guilty on all 3 felony counts , in the Bidens’ home state no less Once again your far right conspiracy claims are disproven. And the Biden family accepts the verdict like adults instead of screaming conspiracy and pledging to pardon him. Just goes to show the level of maturity compared to unhinged MAGAs

  8. Republicans are for responsible gun ownership. This is what we've been telling you jackasses.. the NRA doesn't support crack heads having access to firearms and there are already federal laws in place to deal with criminal behavior. This case was a prime example

  11. So a man was on Biden’s Secret Service detail. Then he retired from the Secret Service, and Jim Biden hired him to investigate a Chinese businessman. Where is there malfeasance in that, or in these other relationships? The article doesn’t even suggest that malfeasance or conflict of interest exists.

  12. Because you don't want to. On the one hand, you have Ukrainian men giving their lives to protect their independence and their future from the hopelessness of Mother Russia's sickly embrace. On the other, you have Russian peasants dying for nothing but the vanity of an ex-KGB colonel. Who's strategy and motivation makes more sense?

  13. Too bad you can't apply the same standard for Trump and all his cronies that have been tried and convicted. Biden is not playing games. Hunter's prosecutor was a former Trump appointee and Hunter will not get a pardon. Unlike Trump who has pardoned everyone who committed a federal crime for him, mused on pardoning himself and has said he will pardon everyone else convicted of trying to overturn an election if he is re elected.

  16. Duplicity: You support ensuring that one side doesn't have more help and firepower. Wars are not fought and won on a stats spreadsheet. Ukraine is not out of soldiers or arms. In this instance: "LOL, you are the one pushing Russian propaganda to support their proxy war in the Donbas before their full invasion. "

  17. Not the people who posted on this thread who said he would get off Why don’t you go on the record and tell us what would be a “super light sentence” and what the proper sentence would be and then We can see if you’re right? I bet you probably won’t because like most MAGAs you don’t want to be held accountable for your baseless claims when they’re disproven and also you want to be able to claim he got a “super light sentence” no matter what it is. If he received the harshest sentence in history, you’d still want to claim it was rigged and he got a “super light sentence”. So why don’t you man up and tell us what the correct sentence should be for this offence and a first time nonviolent offender? And SHOW US THE FACTS that support your claim don’t just pull something made up out of your ass

  19. Purging black voters? How would they do that? Look for all the Jamals, Leroys, Laquishas and so on? Tell us how you purge people by skin color on a voter registration list. I know my state doesn't ask you for skin color to vote.

  20. Oh yes, rolling stone. Well known for its dispassionate and in-depth political analysis. And we see the usual flaws. The democrats are "Purging" the voters list. What he means is they are working to get rid of dead names. people that have passed on, people that no longer live there, people that don't belong in the list. For some reason this is regarded as a bad thing. Apparently having all kinds of people on the voting list who aren't supposed to be there is actually what democracy is made of. And then they mention a vague and unsubstantiated number of legal challenges etc etc that supposedly are being done rampantly and yet they can't name And the usual vague but ominous quotes from a handful of unnamed sources. As far as propaganda goes it's about what you'd expect at this stage

  23. Since 2019, Joe Biden has repeatedly distanced himself from his family’s business dealings, saying that he has never so much as discussed them with his relatives or with anyone else. But House impeachment inquiry interviews, public records and emails reviewed by POLITICO show that members of his inner circle were regularly enmeshed in those dealings: Many of the president’s closest staffers and advisers have doubled as his relatives’ business associates, both during and after their stints working for the man at the center of the Biden family orbit. The most corrupt president is our time is being forced out by his own party. They just don't want to admit it, so they leak this info to make it seem like it's just politics moving Joe out. He will be removed at the DNC convention.

  24. Find... how? You are presuming something nefarious there that was not said. Just like Gore wanted his team to find more votes by recounting. Of course everyone wanting a recount is doing it for their specific side. There is nothing nefarious about that. And they all know by how much they lost and how many more votes they need to win, pointing that out is not nefarious. My thinking is just fine.

  25. Putin, the Kremlin, and a bunch of fools like the disgraced alcoholic Douglas MacGregor, and the convicted sex offender Scott Ritter claimed that Russia would defeat Ukraine in "less than 48 hours." It's now been nearly 2 1/2 years. The numbers? Like 500,000 Russian casualties of war. Considering the low birth rate in Russia, and the fact that most of the people dying are men 18-40, this will set Russia back a decade at least. NATO/USA was not involved in Donesk. Why do you side with Russia over NATO? Did you hate North America so much that you would pull a "Quisling" and collaborate with Canada's enemies?

  28. Yes it is. You're literally saying if that chart shows one country has bigger numbers than others, they can do whatever they want. They can invade anyone they like, and it's immoral to resist them. In your batshit clownworld, friends and neighbors providing you equipment and support to even those statistical disadvantages and stop the bigger numbers from killing you is somehow "immoral". You're so dumb it makes me cringe. I literally feel sorry for you.

  32. If they presented the defendant's defense, they're a defense lawyer for that person. If there's some sort of negotiated settlement and the charges are stayed and the case never goes to trial that there was no charges and there is no 'defense' against the charges presented so there's no 'defense' lawyer. It's just a lawyer. Your lawyer negotiated a settlement and the crown (or equivilant) did not choose to proceed with charges and you never had to defend yourself. They may not have had defense, but they did have competent legal representation. While in a very general sense all legal representation is sort of 'defense' but a 'defense' lawyer is the lawyer who is defending the defendant in court and there needs to be a 'defendant' for that to happen. That's not gymnastics - that's basic English. No defendant - no defense. And it's STILL true that from every angle This case reeks to high heaven of being a witch hunt for the political reason of jailing political opponents. And as much as you try and dodge the issue, jailing your political opponents is very bad.

  33. You sound like someone who has never done any professional work, and has never run a business. In fact, you sound like someone who can't even build a wall with lego. Joe Biden was the VPOTUS, in case you didn't know. He has never been anything but a politician. All of his staffers and advisers are highly qualified, specialized people whose services come at a premium. They didn't all just go work for the Biden family crime syndicate without coming away with a sense of what Hunter was up to. Hunter didn't just randomly find them all in the yellow pages. And don't forget that Joe has always said in the past that he didn't have any knowledge of Hunter's overseas business dealings, that's why the Devon Archer photo was such a big deal. Not only did Joe know Hunter's associates, all of Joe's own staffers and advisers were "Hunter's associates".

  38. You've somehow managed to out-idjit yourself again. FYI your first paragraph contains the proof that Joe actually is involved, but your iron-clad confirmation bias somehow prevented your cerebral cortex from unpacking those words while they migrated across the minuscule noodle. IF BIDEN'S PEOPLE WERE WORKING FOR HUNTER, HOW COULD JOE NOT HAVE KNOWN NOR BEEN INVOLVED? Joe: "Hey Cindy, where were you guys yesterday when you were supposed to be here at work? It seemed like you were all at Hunter's suite in our basement, because you cars were there, and I heard you all talking an' stuff." Cindy: "Oh, uh, it was his birthday, so we were just hanging out there." Joe: "Why didn't I get invited to my own daughter's stag, or whatever it was? Wait, his birthday? That's in December, and it's only Feberary right now. His birthday is still 2 weeks away." Cindy: "Actually his birthday is in April and it's August right now. That's why you're wearing shorts outside." Joe: "So you lied?" Cindy: "Yep. But it's ok. You won't remember this by tomorrow."

  39. That's good and thorough reporting. But it's rather naive to read more into it (as if we've just discovered, for the first time ever) than people work with people they've worked with and with the people those people have worked with. That's the whole premise behind "networking." Either Joe is involved (no evidence and everyone else says explicitly that he's not) or he isn't. If Joe is involved that's a problem, but if they share a lawyer or a PI or something, NBD.

  40. I'll just put this here, shall I? In their criticism, Israel's opponents are erasing a remarkable, historic new standard Israel has set. In my long career studying and advising on urban warfare for the U.S. military, I've never known an army to take such measures to attend to the enemy's civilian population, especially while simultaneously combating the enemy in the very same buildings. In fact, by my analysis, Israel has implemented more precautions to prevent civilian harm than any military in history—above and beyond what international law requires and more than the U.S. did in its wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Israel sets new standard for urban warfare.

  44. Dear Mr. Thick Skull, Donald Trump was not convicted of violating Federal Law. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? The STATE GOVERNMENT is not the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. Donald Trump was convicted of violations NEW YORK STATE LAW, including New York State Election Law, which makes it illegal for "any two or more persons" to "conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means." So it does not matter what Federal Law says or what a former FEC Chair thinks about Federal Law because this was not a case of Federal Law. So why don’t you sit down and ask yourself this simple question: WHY ARE YOU READING AND BELIEVING MEDIA WHICH IS DIRECTLY LYING TO YOU? Here are the official instructions (.gov website!!!) to the jury which the judge gave them. You can read these for yourself to see the exact laws involved. So you don’t need to believe me, or Fox News, you can just go to the source and see for yourself. https://www.nycourts.gov/LegacyPDFS/press/PDFs/People v. DJT Jury Instructions and Charges FINAL 5-23-24.pdf Quoting from that official court document: ”For the crime of Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree, the intent to defraud must include an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof. Under our law, although the People must prove an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission thereof, they need not prove that the other crime was in fact committed, aided, or concealed.” “The People allege that the other crime the defendant intended to commit, aid, or conceal is a violation of New York Election Law section 17-152. Section 17-152 of the New York Election Law provides that any two or more persons who conspire to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means and which conspiracy is acted upon by one or more of the parties thereto, shall be guilty of conspiracy to promote or prevent an election. Under our law, a person is guilty of such a conspiracy when, with intent that conduct be performed that would promote or prevent the election of a person to public office by unlawful means, he or she agrees with one or more persons to engage in or cause the performance of such conduct. Knowledge of a conspiracy does not by itself make the defendant a coconspirator. The defendant must intend that conduct be performed that would promote or prevent the election of a person to public office by unlawful means. Intent means conscious objective or purpose. Thus, a person acts with the intent that conduct be performed that would promote or prevent the election of a person to public office by unlawful means when his or her conscious objective or purpose is that such conduct be performed. Evidence that defendant was present when others agreed to engage in the performance of a crime does not by itself show that he personally agreed to engage in the conspiracy.”

Yeah, you repeatedly brought up this point in your efforts to demand Ukraine surrender to end this war, as if it was over and they just needed to see the light. So... is it over?
