What do we learn from this video: 1) Clearly the incident got off on the wrong foot with George Floyd refusing to show the arresting officer his hands: George kept his right hand hidden from the officer's view, down by the passenger seat. The officer asked George to show his hands multiple times, then drew his gun for his own safety. 2) The officers determined early on that Floyd was "on something". His bloodwork says that he had covid, plus he had Fentanyl in his system. He also had marijuana and methamphetamine in him. 3) He was carrying on saying "I can't breathe" and acting like he was dying from the time he was arrested, even when there was nothing at all restricting his breathing. It's not surprising that officers didn't believe him when he was on the ground. 4) Floyd was resisting arrest the whole time. Takeaways: 1) It's 100% clear that AG Keith Ellison (in true, divisive Dem fashion) only allowed incendiary footage to be released, and he kept somewhat exculpatory video under lock and key. All this while his city and state were experiencing violent riots, arson and looting. The property damage was in the billions of dollars. I don't say it's completely exculpatory because Floyd died when he should't have, but this video clearly illustrates a situation where the police couldn't get Floyd into the car, they had to restrain him on the ground, and they had every reason not believe him when he said he couldn't breathe. 2) If Floyd had just been reasonable and allowed the officers to do their job he would have eventually arrived home safely. The officers were calm and just trying to do their job. They didn't say or do anything racist. 3) With the new video in, the rioting looks even more ridiculous. An investigation into the incident is still necessary, but AG Ellison might have ruined any chance of getting a guilty verdict when intentionally selected the worst video possible to release while hiding the mitigating circumstances from the public. The entire juror pool in the USA has been prejudiced against the police now.

Trump tries to ignore the Court rules once again in his New York Civil Trial in hush money he paid a porn star to cover up an affair...just before he ran for President ...tries to claim that since he became President afterwards every single illegal thing he has done in his life befire, during, and after his presidency doesn't count because when he became President he became immune to any law enforcement actions for any crimes he committed...ever and forever. Might have been the first hilarity of this case , the first nonsense...if it had been properly filed and on time...but as most of Trumps appeals and documentary statements he submits to the Courts , none if it was at all feasible, much less believable, as it brought up nothing new , just the same old, multi times debunked ideas. In addition it was filed yesterday. The deadline was Feb 19. Trump if course ignored that rule and had already started his anti judiciary rhetoric when Judge Merchan threw it out of Court as " utter nonsense". What came next is unsurprising in a Court who has received more than one frivolous pleading, statement, or unbacked alleged case document, etc , the Judge snapped an instant Order that no one in the future can present ANY such document or any other kind requesting ANY delay in the trial hearings unless it FIRST is submitted to the Judge to be reviewed and approved by the Court before it becomes part of the official proceeding, thus stopping Trump from filing more frivolous documents or attempts to delay the case. The Judge is entirely within his jurisdiction to do this and did.

Trump boasted that he can get the war in Ukraine stopped in one day. Does anyone doubt him? Does anyone think that Ukraine would ever win back the territory that Russia has already gained? If we get closer to election day and the Dems haven't managed to jail their opposition, what are the chances that they start pushing for a peace deal? I don't doubt that Trump will get a ceasefire on day 1, and a final peace settlement sometime soon after. How much of the damage that Biden has done can be rectified in just 4 years? Floyd was a dope head and a criminal. It is his own fault that he is now pushing up daisies. The cops were only doing their job to try and get Floyd into the car which he would not allow them to do. If Floyd were a white guy, and black cops did the same to the white guy, this would have gone nowhere. Now an innocent police officer sits in jail for the rest of his life, if he does not get killed in jail before that.
