There's a lot of bleating on here from the Demmie flock about the 2020 election, they're acting like Dems are paragons of virtue and Republicans are anti-democracy tyrants. Apparently they all have the memory of goldfish. Here's a quick little refresher course on the length and breadth of Dem election cheating just in the last few years: 1) Hillary/CNN were caught red-handed actively cheating together on the 2016 election. Hillary was given debate questions before the first presidential debate and prepared lengthy answers for oddly specific questions. 2) Hillary and Debbie Wasserman Schultz were caught colluding to keep Bernie from winning the Dem Primary. This was discovered when their emails were leaked, most likely by a disgruntled IT guy who was 'feeling the Bern'. Dems made lemonade from that one by making the wild accusation that Trump colluded with Russians to hack that server for him. Stupid as that may sound, leftists jumped on it like a leftard news outlet on an anonymous source and despite all evidence, they still have no doubts that Trump colluded with Russia to get those emails to this day (1. the CEO of Crowdstrike, who examined the server personally, was unable to say that there was a hack, and leftists refuse to consider that a disgruntle Bernie supporter leaked it. 2. Julian Assange said that he got the info from a leak and he has never been proven wrong before, but he also never reveals sources) 3) Hillary colluded with a British spy and some Russians to compile a dossier of full of lies and slander to accuse Trump of colluding with Russia. Apparently that's only illegal if you're a Republican. 4) Hillary's lawyer lied to the FBI about his reason for bringing them the now-discredited dossier full of lies and slander. He pretended to just be doing it as a concerned citizen but he was actually on Hillary's payroll when he did it, and that info was 'hers'. 5) Hillary's lawyer, Michael Sussman, had a keycard for the FBI head office in DC and there was a secret meeting room at Perkins Coie where the FBI and Hillary's people held meetings together. Kind of odd when the Dems aren't supposed to be part of the judicial or law enforcement branches, and Hillary was under investigation for her own crimes. 6) The FBI was found guilty of committing a felony to help get the witch hunt started. In order to get the original warrant to spy on Trump associates in the Russian collusion debacle, which was likely the crime of the century, the FBI removed evidence from an email - which named Carter Page as a CIA asset - and presented that email to a FISA court judge to falsely portray Page as someone who was likely a Russian asset. Despite that being a felony, the FBI lawyer, Kevin Clinesmith, was not charged criminally. He wasn't even disbarred. He pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence, and completely altering its meaning, in order to get the initial warrant to spy, and when the FBI renewed the application several times, that disinformation remained a key part of the evidence for renewal. The judge who was duped by the FBI's falsified evidence stated that their malfeasance was on such a scale that it cast a shroud of doubt on every investigation that the FBI is part of. 7) The FBI had the infamous Hunter laptop in their possession for almost a full year before they lied to social media giants, saying that there was "Russian disinformation" about Hunter which might be leaked, which helped lead to the NYPost being banned from Twitter for accurately reporting on it. Everything that the NYPost reported on about the laptop was 100% legitimate, and the FBI knew it, they still did what they could to help suppress the story ahead of the 2020 election. Thanks to the FBI's calculated lies and omissions, the laptop story went into the 2020 election with the impression of being an extension of FBI's own fabrication about "Trump and Russian collusion/disinformation" instead of being the serious black mark on Joe Biden's reputation that it actually was. 8. The Dems fought hard for voter-fraud-friendly legislation between 2016 and 2020, such as no-ID voting, the mass-mailing of unsolicited ballots, and no requirement for signature matching on returned ballots. It's easy to predict what will happen if you mass-mail ballots to an area where the Dems have 80% support, and there's no need for them to come back with at least signature-matching. People's spouses could cast those ballots, roommates could cast those ballots, the ballots could show up at old addresses or wrong addresses, and who's to know? The potential for tens of thousands of illegitimate ballots existed, and the Dems couldn't possibly be stupid enough to not know that. Bottom Line: - The GOP didn't cheat on the 2016 election. - The GOP didn't cheat on the 2020 election. - The Dems were caught cheating multiple times on the 2016 election. - The FBI was found guilty of committed crimes to de-legitimize the 2016 election - the FBI lied to suppress information that they knew was accurate about the Dems' presidential candidate in the 2020 election - the MSM spread disinformation about Russian collusion for years - the MSM barely reported on FBI crimes, firings and demotions, which is arguably one of the biggest stories of the last 20 years - the MSM lied about the legitimacy of the 2016 election for years, pretending that it was questionable when no actual evidence of that really existed, and then they claimed that the 2020 election was completely above board right on election night. You have to admit, that's extremely coming from the biggest election liars/deniers in the history of democracy. Of course it lent the appearance that the Dems cheated when CNN declared the election fraud-free right on election night.2 points

From the Gun Control Facts thread: 6 - The NRA (National Rifle Association) murders 0 people and receives ($$$$ 0) nothing in government funds. Planned Parenthood kills 350,000 babies every year and receives $500,000,000 in tax dollars annually. When you or ANY of your Hitler Youth gang can find a credible link that is evidence of ANY NRA involvement in mass shootings. produce it here. Right now, it appears that Transgenders are shooting up everything. Go b!tch at the LGTQ crowd.2 points

One of the comments made here on this forum, has always stood out to me: In a discussion about whether the jabs should be forced on everyone, @Aristides commented to someone (I don't remember who) that "My 8 year old granddaughter says to tell you that you're a wussy for being afraid of a needle or a sore arm." When I read that, I thought Wow. And we wonder why our children have no empathy or compassion. For the record, one of my children had the jabs so he wouldn't lose his job, the other one lost her job (with the government) because she didn't want the jabs, thinking she might want to have children one day and not knowing what the long-term effects might be. We had discussed that the shots were not tested for this. The one who took the jabs, once said that myself and my daughter should just get the jabs, but never pushed it. Now, he tells us we were right to avoid them - he sees quite a few of his friends suffering health-wise, including one friend who is severely vaccine injured and will likely pass away soon. Mid 30's. On the other hand, MY 8 year old granddaughter couldn't care less who is jabbed or not, and would be disciplined for calling someone a "wussy", not encouraged to do so.2 points

You are not paying attention. How can you say that a predicted dramatic global temperature rise will occur in just a few centuries is wrong when it is only in the beginning stages? What we are doing now, in just the last 150 years, will have terrible results in just a few more centuries. You are saying that if a person jumps off a baclony on the 9th floor and on the 8th floor level says the prediction of a bad ending were wrong because he's still fine.2 points

If we have a large portion of the population that is mentally unstable to the point where they're violent, maybe it's not a good idea to let them have guns. We can enact red flag laws and close the loopholes, in addition to providing free mental healthcare. These two things are not mutually exclusive.2 points

Thelma Ritter. Sarcasm? Everyone should hear this voice in their ears. In this movie, in one scene, a young woman reminds an old woman about life. The two women discuss life, George Cukor directed this movie, and "My Fair Lady". I should have known.1 point

You are supplying much more comedy relief here than you will ever know. You are the joke here. ? Actually, I am having dinner with Putin next week. I will be telling him about the many buffoons that we have in Canada. I will make sure that I mention your pro Nazi Zelensky name. Oh boy, you may be in a bit of trouble with Putin. Good luck. ?1 point

Definitely sounds like your typical internet forum warrior. A…Freeman filled with fake news ideology. Here's the link to the story. What are the chances he straightens out and is reformed? I imagine they restrict access to the Internet in jail so he might stand a good chance. Sure, that's one way to look at it, but it's not significant. The number of multi-vaxed people who died in 2022 was higher than the total number of people to die in either of the previous years. MSM in 2020: "SO MANY PEOPLE ARE DYING, WE NEED A VAX!!!" (14,606 deaths) MSM in 2022: "THANK GOD FOR THE VAX!!!" (More than 14,606 multi-vaxed people died in 2022) *Health Canada stopped recording the breakdown of the vaxed/unvaxed deaths after Sept 25th of 2022, so we can never be 100% certain of anything after that date, but based on the ratio of vaxed/unvaxed deaths during the first 9 months of that year (a country-wide sample size for 9 of the 12 months), and the total number of deaths for that year, multi-vaxed deaths in 2022 would have been higher than the total number of deaths in 2020.1 point

The US gave $5B funding to groups in Ukraine, to "improve democracy". As if it was any of their business. The election of Yanukovych was monitored by outside observers and deemed to be fair. All was fine for a while until Yanukovych announced he was not going forward with a trade proposal with the EU. His reason was that the Ukraine economy was not strong enough to be ready for that yet. That left the door open for more discussion. It's called reasonable and fair negotiations. Not good enough for the globalists. As soon as the Dems/ Biden took charge, there's a war. Us backed, funded. US approved, to go for the long haul. As Uncle Joe said, grinning sardonically- "We're in this for as looooong as it takes!" A phrase which should make any good Slava Ukrainie's hair stand on end.1 point

Dude , it's exactly like 2016 when insults could get you elected. If anything it's more so. Well you have to understand how us politics works a bit. Voter turn out plays a huge roll, and momentum does too. Polling shows that people are deeply disappointed in biden. So that won't be the problem - and there's no indication he'll get better. But the one thing trump needs to do is present a vision for the future - not just 'i'm trump, vote orange'. The last time 'make america great again' really resonated with people. I"m not sure you can just recycle that 8 years later and hope for a win. And you can't get by with promises here and there , it has to be a coherent picture. If he fails, it will be because he forgot about that. You can have insults but if you don't have a vision then nothing works.1 point

SO in actuality i have noted i have plenty- you're just not worth the effort. And - i gave you a very specific example so you'd have somewhere to start. So what you're admitting is you CHOOSE to remain ignorant about this and KNOW that the facts are out there but don't want to take the 10 seconds necessary to start looking on your own because then you'd have to admit you were wrong. And you expect ANYONE to take you seriously about anything after this little exercise in self -delusion? Pathetic1 point
-
Yes, it's in the bible. Do your own research. Those were a lot of examples i gave you. Shoulnd't be too hard but i'm not spending that much time looking up links i doubt you'll read. Of course it had to do with first nations protests and blocades. northern gateway was his attempt to appease them by saying we wanted two but we'll take one (the southern one). Seriously - its to fight climate change that he cancelled it and then he turned around and BOUGHT one to push through? Surely even you can see that doesn't fit a 'climate change' agenda. Sure but honestly you're not worth my time to look it up for you. But a small amount of research will show it did have an impact on gov't policy. It's all part and parcel. If you were to take any one protest in isolation it's effect is relatively minimal, but when you add them together over time it begins to have a serious impact on gov't policy and on private sector policy. And there is often a more direct result as well - Teck resources backed out of a massive new mine directly as a result of the blockades you're referring to.1 point

Of course the rich would have it easier. I can only imagine how shitty it must have been in overcrowded apartment buildings. You seem to forget that we went into COVID bereft of an appropriately scaled response for a pandemic having eliminated funding for this sort of threat. On top of that were health systems that were all pretty deep into the process of breaking down. Our whole society was a big fat sitting duck. Yeah well at the time your insight came off sounding like just one more excuse for letting COVID rip. It was only killing old farts remember? It's a little difficult getting weepy eyed over all the blood bleeding from conservative hearts now given how so many of you treated COVID like it was an opportunity lost. I had seniors with health issues including my own in my immediate life to be more concerned with at the time so forgive me for not having a lot of patience for people who didn't seem to give a shit. Given the opportunity lost it's not surprising that you'd be insinuating anyone who didn't share your hope would now be maligned as cold-hearted bastards towards kids and their black-eyed mothers. You can go perch and rotate yourself too.1 point

Have you MET our prime minister? You're free to live in ignorance They were forced to do new deals with many first nations to make that happen AND the project was delayed by ages AND they did force it's route to be changed a number of times and forced it to be massively overbudget Likewise the TMP in the south was ALSO delayed by many years, still isn't complete, is massively over budget and again first nations had to be give extremely larger compensation. And a third pipeline that was planned for the north was cancelled entirely. So - they got more money, delayed everythnig and drove costs up to discourage other projects, and got one cancelled. They also won court battles along the way which improved their barganing power for future projects. And - the two out of three being built were both announced well over a decade ago. Meanwhile, how many new projects have you heard announced? None? Hmmm. Even mines and such have been tremendously affected. You don't need to have complete victory across the board to still have won a lot. Sorry bud - the first nations have vastly improved their power with such activities.1 point

I would imagine kids in poor homes did not fair as well as in rich homes. Kids who had a good home, versus those who were at risk of abuse from an alcoholic dad. In other words, your white privilege is showing... We heard about those domestic issues early on, during the first shutdown. It only took a few weeks of isolation for these guys to flip out. Where mom would go to work and little Johnny to school, they now had to stay home and get a daily black eye. Not that those issues changed the opinion of any of you people, when I pointed them out. For all the social equality feels-good we love everyone equally lovey-dovey you people exude, it's nothing but empty lips service and show. But, no go. It was ME who spoke out for the less fortunate. Me, that you call "right wing", that you call "conservative", anti-social. Me, not you. Just sayin is all...1 point

Republicans have been using the Big Lie as an excuse to make voter-restriction laws wherever they can. If they were trying to seize control of elections from local authorities in a bubble, I would say that's really shady and unacceptable, but it's not in a bubble, it's part of this larger shift against democracy. Part of this is taking advantage of Trumpism and the Big Lie. But it's also that Republicans don't have any popular policies anymore. They've given up on winning without cheating. That is some epic next level bullshit-ass bullshit. Hillary Clinton conceded the next day when she lost. Donald Trump tried to end democracy when he lost. Yeah, Hillary complained a lot about losing, who cares? She accepted the results. She didn't demand that her fans march to DC and demand they take back the country because she couldn't handle losing.1 point

Setting your projection aside, there's no evidence of 'election rigging' here that i can see. Is your sole evidence that republicans voted for it so it MUST be fraud? Yep it's all republicans I swear you've got your head stuck straight up your echo-chamber.1 point

debt is always higher - things cost more and there's more people every year. Debt to gdp is a better way to look at things. And there - trump did better than most. In otherwords he increased productivity and profit faster than he increased spending: https://www.ceicdata.com/en/indicator/united-states/total-debt--of-gdp Whereas under biden that obviously was NOT the case. Now - covid. Fair enough. But - it's still entirely out of whack. So trump did better than obama - MUCH better than biden and if covid hadn't come along the debt to gdp might very well have been at an all time low historically. So swing and a miss there.1 point

I'm afraid its you who's out of touch there. In fact it's a very successful tactic and often results in a claim moving forward. If you want to say it SHOULDNT be - that's probably pretty defensible. I don't like it either, but that's how things work. Only the stupidest, blindest and the outright liars could comment that's the fault of liberals and leftists, VW is playing countries off against each other just like most corporate interests do with large investments. At least we're being told these are subsidies, we aren't paying a full $13 billion out of gov't funds, most of it will cost us future tax revenue not cash out of pocket like a lot of people seem to think. We could also gut labour laws, give free land, loosen child labour laws and deny flat outright that it was subsidizing like some Goober State we had to compete against for the plant. Justin's Daddy would've used the $13 billion to open a public corporation battery plant that employed the same workers, returned profits to the public and forced the corporations to compete against it. But Oh No! that's communism like PetroCanada was, we can't do that, its bad mmmkay?1 point

Not at all. Bring it on. I don’t care anymore. I’m just watching the fireworks for entertainment at this point. My own family is fairly solid. I’m sad for the lost young people coming up and the moral decline of the West, but I’ve realized that there are many stupid people who don’t see how, through naïveté and a misplaced sense of sympathy, they are shooting themselves in the feet. At this point the only sanity is coming from the more traditional immigrants and native born citizens. The left are basically throwing money and lives at wars and inhumane medical treatments/pharmaceuticals. The sane people with the means will move to the better jurisdictions. Everywhere else will be fodder for Chinese-style totalitarianism and identity politics creepers. Enjoy.1 point

There's no doubt that there's been some pretty shady dealings by the dems. Especially in 2016. More amusing to me is that the dems currently go on about how terrible - TERRIBLE - it is that trump wouldn't accept the election results. Erodes confidence in the system you see. Yet - to this very day Hillary is publically saying the election was stolen from her in 2016, and she's not talking 'figuratively', she's very clear that she feels she won that election but it was stolen. And of course there's Stacy abrams who is still demanding SHE won the gubernatorial race she lost. Both sides have their share of hypocrites.1 point

Because having them stab people is better? Or running over them with a truck? Anyway i understand that most democrats are not gun owners so most of the violent mentally unstable are already disarmed. Red flag laws and mental health intervention and similar policies are 90 percent of the answer. That would include training the public on the issues and what to look for as well. And not just to gun violence but to all mass killings (other than crime). The fact is once someone has decided they're in a place where they want to hurt others, they'll find a way, gun or not. Fascinating that Kennedy is being discredited because he’s challenging big pharma and has questioned the push for vaccines, yet in his interviews he barely mentions vaccines, if at all. The Dems deserve to lose the election if Biden is at the helm on the matter of Ukraine alone, yet Kennedy is a candidate who is questioning the war mongering in Ukraine and appears to be someone who understands the situation there and could do something to resolve it.
