They’re sick control freaks who think they deserve to micromanage populations. The WEF is an unelected mob of kleptomaniac disaster capitalists who use the cover of solving world crises to commodify every aspect of human existence in order to accumulate more power and money for themselves. Trudeau and Freeland are ardent supporters to the degree that they will foist policies on the public without a public mandate then give us a sell job. It’s gross but most people are simply too removed, gullible, exhausted, and/or disempowered to do anything about it. Make no mistake though, the fascist ESG alignment of big business with government is overriding national constitutions and sovereignty. People generally aren’t getting it and are toeing the party line by calling anyone who calls attention to the undermining of democracy a “conspiracy theorist”.5 points

Apparently not. Volume > Facts right ? This is what the Trumpian fringe has learned - flood the zone with questions and try to baffle people who don't know better. Remember when the Conspiracy chuds kept telling us that Osama Bin Laden wasn't on the FBI Most Wanted List proving it was an "inside job" ? My mantra, TB, has become "Isolate and Ignore"... Chud symphonies are most harmonic when the discordant sounds of reason are absent...2 points

The question is, Is this the biggest fraud in history? Just consider Trudeau's claim he is making in Quebec today. Trudeau says fighting climate change is the ONLY WAY to produce good jobs in the resource and manufacturing industries across the country. Really. So we need to kill the energy industry, put red tape regulations on anything that might emit some CO2 and hammer Canadians with increasing carbon taxes? Is this really a credible claim? The truth is Trudeau's war on climate is actually doing the opposite. It is harming industry, jobs, and increasing the cost of living. I think it is. Man cannot control the climate. There is no proof that man-made CO2 is having any effect on the climate. Only speculation. This is not empirical science. Genuine science has to be supported by the scientific method which was abandoned long ago. However, this fraud provides a useful political tool for the liberal left as they can and have instilled fear in much of the population. Quebec has especially bought into climate alarmism. The reason may have something to do with the fact Trudeau is Quebec's boy (or man) depending how you look at it. He is their favourite son as was his neo-Marxist father Pierre Trudeau who had a love for Communist dictatorships. Quebec is basically a very isolated province that considers the only people qualified to be PM have to be Quebecers. Man-made climate change is a natural go-to claim that fits in well with liberal and NDP thinking because it is centred on making mankind the scapegoat for all problems in the world. So if there is bad weather or undesirable climate, it must be man's fault. That is the natural outcome of a society that does not believe in a God who created everything and is in control of such things as the climate. These neo-liberals somehow think since man is to blame that man can somehow control the climate, which is like the day when mankind thought they could build a tower to heaven in the book of Genesis in the Bible. It is the result of the liberal unbelief and the false thinking that man knows everything and is a kind of god. This is egotistic and nihilistic which is the rejection of all moral and religious principles. What do covid Karens have to do with spreading covid? According to your own leftard theories they'd spread less covid than anyone because they'd be triple-masked, quadruple-jabbed, socially distanced, hiding in their basements etc, while they were busy shrieking at everyone else.1 point

Of course I do. We'd have had no pandemic if we chopped up Covid Karens into tiny pieces and sacrificed all their generations in ozone furnaces, advanced on the Freedumb rallies with flamethrowers and ripped babies from unvaxxed mothers to raise in laboratories. But you're right, what would a Judge know about law? He's just a Judge. and we're plumbers and truck drivers and welders!1 point

How many of the prominent leaders in the CCF-NDP are ordained Christians. Woodsworth, Douglas, Knowles, Calvert, Prebble, Father Bob Ogle, Colin Clay, and Ben Smiley, just off the top of my head. Charlie Angus is an active member of the Roman Catholic Church. Jagmeet Singh is a devoted Sikh. So, you can't say the CCF-NDP is a party that rejects all moral and religious principles.1 point

You haven’t been reading. Where have I defended Trudeau’s policies? They’ve been about as effective as the previous Harper policies. But, you claiming I think Trudeau is an expert is a straw man…. A distraction. Go study climate science and then maybe you can refute what the actual experts say without relying on crackpot conspiracies.1 point

Jeebus. You are pathetic. You'll ignore actual data from an original sources like Treasury, because "anyone can make a chart," but will post opinions from third rate papers like the Examiner and Post, because apparently only those "authoritative" sources (lol) can type words and numbers. ? Look. Everyone with eyeballs and a functioning brain can see both deficit and spending numbers. You can keep your head up your ass and pretend they are not there, but it won't change the facts. We see you.1 point

You have been misinformed. The statement of yours that I have quoted is wrong. It contradicts every reputible climatologist and physicist in the world. Of the last three Prime Ministers from Quebec, only Jean Chretien was of predominantly French heritage. Brian Mulroney was of Irish descent and Prime Minister Trudeau is mostly of Scottish ancestry. I don't recall the late Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau ever expressing any love for Communist dictatorships, other than to follow the Conservative Prime Minister John Diefenbaker's policies of maintaining close relations with Cuba and making huge trade deals with Red China to sell our wheat. The Nixon administration asked the Canadian government to open relations with the PRC as an opening for President Nixon to open relations with the Mao government.1 point

According to this article the WEF is a threat to democracy, freedom, and capitalism or private business. "For years, the World Economic Forum, an unholy alliance of political leaders, corporate elites and wealthy aristocrats, has championed ESG , the “environmental, social, and governance” model of business administration, whose central premise is that private business should be compelled to achieve social good." Bruce Pardy: ESG will kill capitalism, and freedom along with it (msn.com) But we know you approve of the liberal, neo-Marxist model of globalist world control of everything and everyone. That is what the primary purpose of the WEF is.1 point

It's quite bizarre, the attempts to re-write history. If that's not what they touted, then why did we have vax mandates and passports? The only reason mandates and passports were shoved down everyone's throats was because the shots were "100% safe and 95% effective" and anybody who didn't take them was a "granny killer."1 point

If you think appointing people to those vital institutions on the basis of their skin colour, religion and gender rather than merit doesn't undermine public trust in them you're kidding yourself. If you think hiring and promotion based on identity group membership doesn't anger people not belonging to favoured identity groups you're really kidding yourself. And if you think there isn't going to be a massive, probably violent backlash to this once Trudeau is done inciting people into hating each other you really don't understand human behaviour. Young folk who find themselves not hired, not promoted, not getting that government grant, and being constantly blamed for things they never did and things they never thought are very likely to turn bitter and angry, especially in the face of economic downturns where they find themselves shut out of things like owning a home. "Sorry, kid. I realize you have that masters degree and all, but we're going to hire this immigrant from Somalia because we're helping make it up for the racism your ancestors practiced on his ancestors - even though his ancestors were never here to begin with."1 point

No, I claim that the math says the solutions are not working and cannot work unless every country sets about reducing their CO2 emissions. China's emissions exceed all developed nations combined, and they're still building coal plants. Nothing the West does, even at a cost of tens or hundreds of billions - is going to counter China's increases alone. Except China isn't alone. India is running on a similar path. Their increases outweigh the west's decreases too. Then we have all the rest of the developing world, all gleefully building coal plants and increasing emissions. Well, you can't blame them. They need more power for all those factories moving out of the West to where the energy costs are cheaper. So don't even try that 'you're not a climatologist' bullshit, pal.1 point

I'm downvoting every post that doesn't have a link to a scientific paper to prove what you're saying. Not surprisingly, Dialamah loves all your posts with no links. This humane sentiment explains why we as a society have moved to a place where we try to treat mental illness as opposed to prescribing punishment. Some cultures regarded schizophrenics as mystics and seers and some burned them at the stake to kill the demons that were possessing them. I can't imagine any loving rational god not giving the poor latter souls the most special consideration possible while giving the dingbats who believed they were doing His will a mighty smacketh up side the head of some sort.1 point

Eh, I support higher tax revenue, but I don't think this is a good approach. 90th percentile will start somewhere around $155K income. That's not exactly wealthy and those people aren't the problem. They are paying their taxes like everyone else, not hiding it in shelters. Whereas the very rich, the top 1% or so, can pay for clever accounting to shelter their income and are paying a pittance in proportion to income and wealth. I'd much rather see a simplified tax structure that eliminates most deductions.1 point

You seem to be some kind of angry young man who is unable to think rationally. No one is saying that the political system in Canada and other British protectorates is not good, on the contrary, it is so good that it could be implemented in Ukraine for the sake of peace. Please read this post again and stick to the topic of how to achieve peace and stop the unnecessary loss of Ukrainian lives. Or maybe you're thirsty for someone's blood. Should we call call you Count Dracula? ?1 point

Perhaps, but on most of them he'll turn out on the right side of history. He and his type take it too far, and sometimes to the point of absurdity, but those are the instances we should be complaining about, rather than railing generally about wokeness etc. You're free to disagree, but much (definitely not all) of what Trudeau has embraced culturally is coming regardless. Whether that's now or whether that's after Boomers age out is going to be the main question. Young folk have different priorities and don't care about these things nearly as much. Either way, these are fairly vague complaints, and I struggle to think of any that match up to promoting conspiracy theories that deliberately undermine public trust in vital institutions for the sake of a few angry votes.1 point

How can you be such a sell out? Thank God for the trucker protest. They literally liberated Canada from restrictions and mandates. They were heroic. I like Poilievre because he was brave enough to stand up to the Liberal-paid legacy media. My only concern with Poilievre is that he is at risk of sliding into copying the Liberals. Polilievre isn’t a social conservative. He’s barely conservative. You fear him because your whole ethos is Liberal like all of Canada. The Liberals run Canada permanently.1 point

Canada has become a grotesque quasi-totalitarian shadow of its former self. It could take decades to clear out the influence-peddling, grift, outsized influence of unelected individuals/groups, and so on. Canada is a socialist dictatorship where one set of political views are okay. All other opinions are “unacceptable” or “alt-right” or “misogynist” or “colonial”, etc. Pluralistic Canada is fast-tracking to Chinese-style totalitarian hive mentality under Trudeau. Climate change is just another excuse for more oppressive policies. Our Conservative Party are barely conservative, yet somehow they are “scary” to most Canadians. The Liberals will hold office forever, even if the “Conservatives” manage the odd win.1 point

Who is hanging out with Nazis? What nonsense have you swallowed? Climate change is the best scam going for government to take and redistribute more of workers’ money. No one knows how much our human activity impacts climate change or whether any of the current government solutions will fix it. Nevertheless, we are expected to take this medicine of carbon taxes as the cost of living goes through the roof.1 point

You’re looking through the wrong end of the telescope. There’s nothing radical about Poilievre. He’s attempting to correct the country’s course, which Trudeau has brought closer to radical left internationalist dictatorship. Your constitutional rights are weak, especially under Trudeau. You’re allowed to have limited perspectives in Canada. It’s creepy. I would have a foot outside Canada to protect yourself when the next “crisis” hits, because this government wants to control your life more.1 point

I can't see the posts in the thread but it's important to point out that lobbying isn't any better when it's close to home. The right had more money than the Left and uses it for influence. Is that bad then? This lobby group Empower Texas for example openly publishes a scorecard on who to vote for, DIRECTLY funds and picks candidates, and is funded by the State through pension plans itself. It's controlled by three founding businessmen. And you never hear about them from the conspiracy sheep because they are sucking up propaganda from those funding WEP conspiracy stories. At least WEP is in the open. These people were fined for not registering as lobbyists. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empower_Texans So not sure what people are saying about WEF, but...
