Let's talk about how politics work, with parties that engage with each other in good faith. These are the words used by partisans and propagandists when describe environmental policy, as supported by all of Canadian parliamentary parties.... "radicals" "cult" "brainwashing"3 points

“A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution,” If one is not not blind, deaf or brain dead it can be interpreted only one way: if I feel offended by my loss in a fair and free election, it gives me the grounds to do anything I like. Not reacting to this kind of claims is first, cowardly and more importantly, can have far reaching consequences as we know very well from history (or should).3 points

In the aftermath of Trump meeting with a neo-Nazi and Kanye, and subsequent pro-Hitler statements by Kanye, President Biden Tweeted this: "I just want to make a few things clear: The Holocaust happened. Hitler was a demonic figure. And instead of giving it a platform, our political leaders should be calling out and rejecting antisemitism wherever it hides. Silence is complicity." Absolutely, positively right. There is zero place in our society for Nazism in any form. It’s not Democrat, it’s not Republican. Nazism and Nazis have no place in America or anywhere else on the planet.3 points

NOT when COMBINED with ALL his OTHER CLAIMS and ACTIONS wrt "the steal." IF that were a "one off" you MIGHT have a point, but it's certainly NOT the first time he has claimed that he should be reinstated as POTUS. IOW, "allowing" in that CONTEXT, is certainly "calling for." Combined with HIS EFFORTS to violently STOP the EC vote certification AND throw it back to Republican legislatures, he has been "calling for" reversing the election results ever since Jan 6th. Of course he gets away with that BECAUSE CULT members like YOU egg him on with your unConstitutional excuses. ?2 points

1... No, i think every element goes on exercise, to a certain extent, i remember doing an exericise with 440 SAR sqn Edmonton ( i think that what they were called) back in the day to simulate a major aircraft crash, the site was Wainwright Alberta in the middle of feb, the Army guys got to play the role of victims, and the SAR guys jumped in and began their training. I remember it being about -40 and they had done us all up in realistic wounds including fake blood with pumps to make it gush, so when you combats get cut off in -40 it gets cold fast... I'm sure you have had training that was not comfortable, so it's not just regulated to the Army, but the entire forces. like BDF which includes all base personal, which includes training in all elements, airshows, how many dog and pony shows have you put on for the chain of command that included jumping it all counts as activities that normal citizens would not be faced with. I can even imagine life on a sub, let alone our subs. 2.. it is a fair wage when you compare it to other nations, but once you start comparing it with common civilian jobs then there really not that much difference if you consider all the other components we do and they do not. My son is in the Regiment today, and lots of soldiers are leaving for better paying jobs that are not so intensive both physically or mentally, so much so that the unit sits in around 55 to 60 % manned... to put that into context less than 50 % and the unit is classified as combat ineffective, hence the CDS announcement. Increasing wages would be a really good incentive to a keep people or get them to join. Stop all the flow chart hiring practices and start hiring based on merit alone, and i'm sure those that want to have a career in the military will step up. Canadian army is in Latvia right now, most of those are combat arms, as they are part of an international battle group., and yes there are loggie and Admin people there as well. Those in UK are Combat arms training the Ukrainians, not that there is any danger involved, at least they are not concerned of being shot in the back like in Afghanistan, but they are deployed. it should also be noted that even in Afghanistan on average we only had a battle group deployed plus PRT, so not much greater than 34 to 4000 troops, although at one point we did have a full brigade there... lets not forget the Navy with ships deployed in the northern Atlantic, and Pacific along with Maritime patrol aircraft patrolling north Korea. add them up and the numbers grow... not to mention, the politics ongoing , about expanding the battle group in Latvia, talks about a combat force in Haiti , and the new agreement on expanding our presence in the Pacific, all of these will stretch our abilities to the max if not break them. listen nothing any good comes out of any measuring contest, and i'm not trying to shout you down, just showning we both have much different perspectives from much different angles.2 points

Another bogus left wing OPINION rag vomits another LIE. LEGALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT TRUMP did not at ANY time suggest overturning the United States Constitution. To bring you up to speed, there is no legal basis for doing ANYTHING to the Constitution other than either passing other Amendments or overturning Amendments. Trump was the smartest president in history, and he knew that. This is the statement: Florida third graders and up can read that and realize it is NOT a call to overturn the Constitution. Trump just announced the end of American Constitution. Interesting is not what a clueless and pompous loose cannot can fire but the reaction. The Republicans? Silence. Trump is testing them: how far will they him to which lengths? Republicans: but of course, Dear Leader! It's perfectly find to end the Constitution that took efforts without measure to establish and defend if it wouldn't work for us and our way. This is a way of charismatic authoritarians. They gather and trim their herds then use them to achieve their goals. Having signed up to "the end of Constitution" openly or silently, much difference? will you take an independent decision in the office, or rule against your Idol as a judge? This is how authoritarian systems are formed. What is an erosion of democracy if not this? I think several factors contribute to it over and again, in each historic stretch. Old age; rigid structures and routines; elitism, closed political system; partisanship; boredom; focus on daily business and survival. And of course, a two party system that contributes to all of them.1 point

(Starting around the Carter Years.) Let me count the ways: 1. Pure unadulterated HATRED of the United States of America, and everything it stands for. 2. Embrace of dictatorships on the other side of the world, some of which threatened our existence. 3. Embrace of junk science, of radical environmentalist opinions that were not supported by science: (a. Global Cooling; Global Warming; Disappearing Ozone Hole; Acid Rain; Animal Rights; Human caused Climate Change) 4. Enhanced promotion of sexual perversion: Homosexuality, Lesbianism, Pedophilia, Transgenderism, etc, over normal male female relations. ATTACKS on the traditional nuclear family unit. 5. Cancel Culture (the New Fascist attack on the First Amendment). 6. Promotion of socialist countries (whose economies are in the tank): North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela. 7. Vast expansion of the WELFARE STATE, which is now around 75 percent of the federal budget. 8. Renewed RACISM. (worse even than the Democrat Jim Crow laws. 9. Class envy, with higher taxes that ONLY affect the poor. 10. Increased attacks on the Second Amendment. (The KKKLinton and Unelected Joe regimes declared war on guns that look scary.) 11. Embrace of open borders illegal aliens and violating election laws.1 point

You're such a grand apologist for Donald. One doesn't normally see this type of devotion except in cases of puppy love. If only Donald had any evidence of fraud viable enough to be substantiated in a court of law. But he doesn't.1 point

TBH, the only thing that's making sense anymore is the old theory that Dems and GOPers are self-serving, globalist sellouts who keep the peons fighting so that they can carry on with divvying up the loot, and protecting the wealthy elites. If you look at the view from 50,000 feet, the Dems are the party that pretends to cater to the poor, and they are also the party that gets elected by the poor to make all the changes that hurt poor people the most. They are the ones who raised energy costs to the point where poor people have to reduce their lifestyle choices. They promise a $15/hr minimum wage and then drive inflation so high that $15 is effectively a pay cut. They are the ones who bring in millions of illegal immigrants who compete for low-income jobs and affordable housing, and make it easier for wealthy elites to get cheap labour. They forced peons to vax. They are getting peons to abort their own babies. They're keeping the hated 'middle class' population (useless eaters) low, by convincing 7 yr-olds that they can swap genders as easily as shoes, rendering them sterile. It's brilliant from a good-cop, bad cop POV. The Dems get all the nasty crap done, and they do it with the full support of the portion of society that's most prone to violence and are the most easily duped. People with common sense will always exist, and the GOP is there for them, but what's good for the American people isn't always what's best for elites. As long as those two parties can keep people going one way and then the other, they can prevent the peons from going off in a direction that they don't control.1 point

I do appreciate the criticism most of the time, it is hard to see when it is a topic that i am passionate about. It is one of the few things me and my son do together, i don't own a ton of weapons i have 2, a bolt action rifle, and a semi auto shotgun. both are now banned. When the target was to focus on firearms that were meant for the battlefield, and the government repeating over and over they are not targeting hunters, but in the commission Liberal MP have stated there will be more added to the list in the future. and no they are not intending to compensate anyone...It is also about private ownership, which seems to have gone out the window, not only with Canadians but the government as well. It is an emotional issue for those that are affected, when the federal government tells bold face lies that most common Canadians believe as fact and believe all gun owners are evil and should not have any firearms, it perplexes me why some other Canadians that does own a firearm or care to own one, would be so passionate about making sure i don't own one either. It frustrates the shit out of me that despite the truth, and evidence that does come out they choose to ignore it or pronounce it as false news. The fact that there are not enough Canadian examples for them to use as excuses for the bans themselves that they have to use American ones, it only goes to show that our gun policies and restrictions are holding up and doing their jobs. For example, TO police made a seizure of firearms today, out of the 62 guns seized, all but 1 handgun was traced to the Canada, the rest are from the US. this has been a constant fact throughout this debate, 98 or 99 % of all crime guns are sourced to the US. That is not where the government is targeting, it targets legal gun owners or in this case that one firearm that was stolen out of someone's home. And Canadians think they are safer, Justin has got this... So he is taking my bolt action rifle, and semi auto shotgun, with no compensation and without any logical reason at all.1 point

Because Minister Guilbeault knows what he is talking about. The Earth is 4.5 billion years old. There has been life on the earth for 3.5 billion years. There have been modern humans for just 200,000 years, maybe 400,000 years if we include our Neanderthal brothers. Why did God chose homosapiens as a favoured species. According to the Bible, we are the most ill behaved creatures in the flock, often destroying portions of the rest of the flock and always abusing our fellow creatures. God has been constantly punishing us for our sins, even sacrificing the Christ in an effort to get us to behave. I'm sure God would prefer to give rabbits or squirrels dominion over this little planet. My neighbour, Joe, who's family has lived at my place in the Kootenays for centuries, certainly believes squirrels are God's highest creation. God created the earth as a gift to squirrels. The only reason we have, that homo sapiens are God's beneficiaries, is that an origin story created by some neolithic shepherds said so. As Homo sapiens, of course they decided they were God's favourite. Religion has been around for most, if not all, of Homo sapiens existance. Neanderthats believed in the afterlife. There are the graves at Shanidar that prove this. After all that time, all those religions, what makes us so special. We are all descended from a boney fish that was a survivor on one of the greatest mass extintions in the last 3.5 billion years. I'm sure the descendents of those boney fish believe dominion was theirs. From them descended cats, bats and old gnus. Since a surprising portion of the Book of Genises was written by a woman, maybe we should refer to God as She, however it diminishes the omnipotence of God to assign any human charactaristic to her. At the rate we are going, the greenhouse effect we are causing, will end human existance pretty soon, possibly in the next couple of thousand years. Much of the remaining time will be pretty grim. Compounding that tragedy is we will have taken most, if not all life with us. Life on earth managed for 3.1 billion years without us imposing our dominion.1 point

1. Yes, because it is nothing more than a cult that blames mankind for living on the earth. They worship the false god of Mother Earth and think man has no right to exist and use the land to live on and develop the natural resources. They cause great harm to countries like Canada with an extremist PM like Trudeau and minister Guilbeault, who are punishing Canadians for merely living, driving to work, and taking their kids to hockey practice and school, and buying groceries. 2. I don't think the civilian counterparts are fair comparisons most of the time. If you compare a clerical job in the CAF against a Service Canada position, the roles, lifestyle and expectations aren't even in the same realm, I suspect. The former is likely working in the same places as everyday Canadians (like Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver), the latter is potentially living in Petawawa, Cold Lake or somewhere like that, or even Latvia. It doesn't really matter that we haven't seen major deployments in 8-9 years either. The reality is that service members assume the risk of deployment regardless of whether there are active missions.1 point

I really don't think most people join the military because of the money. Yes, it has to be reasonable and afford them a decent standard of living but that is not the primary reason they join. This is what separates a country's armed forces from mercenaries. The military has to be something people want to join other than for the money. The idea that we can treat them however we want if we just pay them more won't wash in a society with lots of civilian jobs and social safety nets1 point

The advocacy for separation does occupy a necessary place in the scheme of things however. It signals to the establishment that sometimes the status quo needs to be tweaked a little and at times a lot. Your reaction and prediction of a bloody horrific civil war seems a little alarmist. It's been such an off and on again topic so many times already. We should by now be able to approach it without becoming unglued but if not...it is what it is. In any case the ASA and the way it's been worded and then Tony's comment about salmon being nothing but an impediment to Alberta really does stir me up. The part of the ASA that says Alberta will stand up to policies from Ottawa that harm Alberta is poignantly ironic given how badly Ottawa has mismanaged salmon in BC. Does Alberta assume it'll be managing BC's salmon in the future or something? No one outside of BC has even considered that maybe we'd like to manage our salmon for our own benefit. Ottawa presumed to be managing BC's salmon for Canada's benefit and look how that turned out. I often quip that Canada should have gotten Norway to manage Alberta's oil. But in fact my regard for Norway is facetious to say the least - Ottawa let them put their Atlantic salmon farms all up and down our coast after telling us we couldn't build Pacific salmon hatcheries in our rivers. I get it that Alberta is pissed off at Ottawa, I really do. But I've seen nothing to suggest that Alberta will give any more of a shit about BC than Ottawa did or does.1 point

Both of those programs are funded by separate payroll taxes, and neither run a deficit. So they aren’t the cause of deficit spending. Oh; and unlike your BS, I have a source: The Federal Government Treasury Department. https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/americas-finance-guide/federal-spending/ See how easy it was to show how much of a liar you are? That's because Trump is a genius compared to you and everyone on the left. He didn't want to get people acting hysterical, but he did what he could to stop covid. He blocked non-Americans from flying in from China when everyone else thought that was racist, back when there were only 5 covi deaths in the US. He started shutting down the economy and getting the country to social distance when there were less than 100 covid deaths. And he did those things while not getting everyone panicked. He was also smarter than the WHO, they were saying that H2H transmission wasn't happening and Trump acted like it was. FYI Trump was correct, covid does spread human-to-human, incase you were wondering. Do you wanna know what the Dems were doing back then? 1) Pretending that Trump was the guy who colluded in Ukraine lol. That's literally all te Dems were focused on in January of 2022. There was ONE question about covid in the dems presidential debates in January 2020. 2) Giving the worst possible advice: Here's Pelosi, almost a full month after Trump blocked travel, out in public hugging people she doesn't even know https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/nancy-pelosi-visits-san-franciscos-chinatown/2240247/ Bill DeBlasio was telling NYers to "Ride the subway and go to restaurants like normal" two weeks after Trump blocked those flights. Gov Cuomo was making fun of Trump on TV, then sending infected people into care homes without getting them tested, he specifically forbade testing, and then when they were dying there he'd send them to the hospital and din't log them in the state's care-home death toll. I've heard all of the retarded leftists claptrap about covid before. You have no morals, scruples or ethics, you're just gonna lie your way through this topic like every other leftist does.1 point

Our Gov't gave CBC a $675M/yr raise after they pimped 2012 Duffygate as a 2015 election issue, gave $600M to 'select media outlets' (and the president of the UNIFORS union was one of the people in charge of deciding who got that money - a man who declared his union was the official opposition against the conservatives) "so that they could provide accurate media coverage prior to the 2019 election", then gave $61M to a top secret group of media outlets to "provide accurate media coverage prior to the 2019 election". Damn right it has to stop. They also tried to gift the WE 'charity', aka Trudeau Youth Camp, almost $1B to brainwash children with this type of thing: Then our PM uses a jumbo jet to fly media sycophants around the country to cover his election campaigns because he feels like reporters in Mtl, Van, Edm, Regina, Winnipeg etc aren't skilled enough to bear true witness to his glory. If Trump used AF2 to fly Fox reporters, Project Veritas, etc around the country the left would scream bloody murder, and the excuse of "I bought carbon offsets to make up for the fuel we burned" would be rejected entirely. The amount of taxpayer money that our federal gov't spends on their own re-election is staggering.1 point

You forgot to mention the health care system is in a crisis, there are long waiting times in emergency rooms, sometimes twelve hours or more, people waiting long periods for cancer treatments while their cancer gets worse. Probably lots of people dying because of it. There is a housing crisis and hundreds of thousands of people cannot buy a home because they cost more than the average person could ever afford. They have calculated it would take the average person decades to just save up a down payment to purchase a home. It is unattainable for most people now. We are short a million or more homes. The Canadian military has been underfunded for years and is desperately short of ships, aircraft, equipment and short tens of thousands of personnel. Canadians are paying for a ridiculous war on climate change, which is a fraud that is lowering the standard of living of everyone. Western Canada's energy industry has been greatly harmed by the Trudeau government. Yet you are fine with Trudeau's leadership. It is a dismal failure. Sad.1 point

I think once you start writing down everything expected for the civilian worker (civil servant) and then military worker doing the same jobs, there is going to be a huge divide in reasonability's and expectations. And this becomes even more evident if you compare the same in the Army or Navy in regard to hours worked, conditions they work in, what is asked of them both physically or mentally. Once you add it all up there is a huge gap that could be filled with wage increases. The average wage for a Garbage man in the Toronto area is 73 K between 50 and 73 K not including bonus... i think that may help to put things into preceptive. Salary: Garbage Man in Toronto, ON 2022 | Glassdoor One could also look at specialist trades, such as pilots, doctors, nurses, boat captains, and many more they are not paid as well as their civilian counter parts. I think the military could and should look at our pays and all the bonuses we are entitled to get, to make them more equitable across the board to all members. The air force does seem to hold a lot more bonus than any other element. That being said this problem is worldwide, we are the Number one paid military on the planet, which eats up most of the Budget, that being said unless your training budget exceeds your pay budget, you're never going to get what you paid for, ie Canadians soldiers are not the best in the world in soldiering just the highest paid.1 point
