  1. Really? That's the snarky title you choose? That's what's sad.

  4. So if she slept with Andrew because he was a Royal, she was just a f***ing groupie. If she felt she couldn't say no because he was a Royal he was a rapist. If Epstein paid her to, he was a pimp. If she actually got paid to do him, she was a hooker If you think 17.5 is jailbait and 18.0 is just fine, you're an intransigent blockhead. Go supply your local High School with chastity belts to give out with the free condoms. The thread's about the Queen's passing not anyone else.

  5. I do not for one second believe it’s coincidence that President Trump called the largest black civil rights group to the 21st Century a “hate group”. Kayleigh quoted stupid things that two people said, out of millions of protesters in all 50 states. What did President POS Trump say about the “Unite the Right” Nazis who were protesting to keep up Confederate statues, resulting in a man driving his car into a crowd of counter-protesters? Didn’t he say there were great people on both sides? So a white supremacist rally that turns violent is ok, but a black civil rights rally is “hate speech”? I do not accept that at all.

  6. Elizabeth II ascended to the title while still of the age most people today are just leaving college. She is the last of the world leaders from "The Greatest Generation" and lived a life dedicated to and restricted by duty and responsibility. She sailed majestically through all the chaos, wars, political drama, family crisis, social change, and the rise and fall of nations. And she did it in a restrained, thoughtful and dignified manner almost completely at odds with what we see of most world leaders today. RIP to her. And God bless the King.

  8. Lake Champlain is beautiful and Starbucks Big Macs taste like overprocessed garbage. What I want to know is how on earth did he find anyone MAGA in Vermont. When I was last in Burlington, I got my hair cut. I asked my barber what she thought of Bernie Sanders. She said, “Uh, well… I’m not a big fan.” I asked her why, and she said, “When he started out, he said ‘Tax the millionaires,’ but now, he says ‘Tax the billionaires.’ “ So there you have it: Burlington, VT is too liberal for Bernie!

  9. Except that this one nuclear document is a poison pill. Isn’t it interesting that they don’t name the nation whose nuclear abilities, etc., are contained therein? Such a huge deal, and yet let’s not name the nation involved. Because, 1) the nation involved is Iran. 2) it’s nuclear abilities are directly tied to a treaty a former president gave them. Without so much as a signature from Iran. This document was put there for the FBI to find, and they took the bait.

  11. If you define "classy" as not mourning the passing of one of the most privileged people on the planet, who attained that privilege based solely on her family tree, then I guess I'm not. How many people in the British empire you think will go hungry during the time Millions of dollars will be spent on lavish funerals and memorials? This concerns me much more than the death of some rich inbread So again why should I care about the queen?

  12. It struck me earlier as I bounced around different channels that in a lot of ways she was the queen of the west, a representative of western culture, traditions and values. You'd expect the BBC to be all over this story, and Canadian news channels. But it was basically full time on Euronews, the DW (Germany), France's overseas news net, and even Al Jazeera. Almost everyone in the West has known her as a steady, unwavering political background for most of our lives.

  13. She was the best of that family, but the bar was set pretty low. She was pragmatic which was good for the first 25 years or so, but then became a means by which she could be handled.

  16. She was a prostitute. And Epstein paid her. She was one of the bimbos who ran around with him and who he loaned out to friends (and were quite content to be loaned out to friends). Her story has changed a dozen times since the lawyers first told her how much money she could make by cashing in on Epstein. You're acting awfully prudish for a guy who would sell his soul for a chance to have Donald Trump piss on him. Do you think he was disgusting for having sex with prostitutes, porn stars and strippers? Do you wonder why he's not in jail for paying them?

  18. What are you talking about? YOU QUOTED A FEDERAL COURT RULING WHICH DONALD TRUMP LOST. The Court ruled that, Yes, the President can declassify information BUT he or she must follow some protocol. Trump did not follow any declassification protocol. There is ZERO written record of these documents having been declassified. So the rest of the DoD assumes they are still classified, and assumes the secret agents, etc, have not been compromised.

  23. A) You can’t point us to a Federal Law which says a President can declassify any information without notifying anyone. Too bad you can’t figure out how stupid that is. For instance, it means the rest of the government assumes an undercover operative is safe, when his identity has actually been exposed. B ) Executive Privilege hasn’t been ruled on for ex-Presidents because it does not exist. MAGA thinks Donald Trump can break any law he wants. But the truth is, he can’t. His crony Bannon’s going to prison. A former President is just another US citizen. He has zero exemptions from any laws, although he probably gets though customs faster.
    1 point
  24. Translation: You have no idea what Executive Privilege is. I assumed as much. In your mind, Trump’s legal defense rests upon a legal concept you do not understand at all. Executive Privilege pertains to communications between the Executive Branch and the other two branches of government, particularly pertaining to national security. It does not apply at all to a former President, and President Biden made a proclamation to that effect regarding Trump. It can only be asserted by President Biden, but he can assert it on behalf of other individuals. However, the case before us pertains to communications within the Executive Branch, and so Executive Privilege would not apply even if Trump were still President.

  25. Of course it’s relevant. The point is that the lawyer signed the statement on behalf of the client she represents. Her crime is his crime. In fact, all she has to do is say, “I asked my boss if he still had any of these documents, and he said No,” and she’s off the hook. But nothing gets Trump off the hook; his legal representative signed that document on his behalf. So it’s legally the same as if Trump himself signed.

  26. Mr. Poilievre is un-tried. You state he's "all flash and no bang" . . . . how did you come to your conclusion? Why would Mr. Poilievre, or any opposition candidate completely lay out their plans to fix the existing governments failure in the economy, overspending, Covid matters, climate, etc.? Do you not think that the appalling existing Federal Government of Trudeau/Singh wouldn't implement good ideas from the opposition? Learn to spell . . Poilievre.

  31. Can you write anything that isn’t an outright lie? “At least one lawyer for former President Donald Trump signed a written statement in June [3rd] asserting that all material marked as classified and held in boxes in a storage area at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence and club had been returned to the government.” https://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/nationworld/ct-aud-nw-nyt-trump-material-returned-20220813-raubhojynvhg7mrl7dnpn4og3a-story.html This article lists the entire chain of events. You can find this information corroborated by many media outlets. The attorney who signed this was Christina Bobb, who represents Trump and is listed as the Custodian of his records. Her sworn statement is Trump’s; that’s how the law works. She signed on his behalf, placing herself and Da Boss in jeopardy of Obstruction of Justice charges. She can kiss her law career goodbye. Then again, that’s what happens to pretty much every lawyer who works for the man, and it should be obvious that it’s because Trump pressures his lawyers to break the law in his behalf.

  33. Ha Ha, you said the media is no longer reporting this and I proved you’re wrong. MAGA can’t admit to mistakes. All you had to do was admit you were wrong, and even when presented with objective fact of your error, you just move the goalposts. If MAGA is right, then why all the lying? If MAGA is right, isn’t the plain truth good enough?

  35. Mathew Goode's imitation of Robert Evans. The accent alone is worth the Paramount+ fee for a year. Otherwise, badly cast. Just wrong, not true. Sinatra? This series is from the perspective of Al Ruddy - the supposed guy who made it possible. Anyone who knows anything about Hollywood knows that it's all fake - but Al Ruddy, producer of The Godfather? Gimme a break. Robert Evans is dead - maybe his estate can sue. IMHO, this series shows how things happen in life.

  38. This reminds me a lot of when Trump was saying "I didn't collude with Russia", because he knew all along that he didn't collude with Russia, but Dems and their MSM were all saying: "TRUMP IS A LIAR! WE KNOW THAT HE COLLUDED WITH RUSSIA!". Now everyone on earth knows that Trump was telling the truth and the MSM and Dems were lying, and the FBI was committing crimes and abusing their power. This is another scenario where Trump knows what's going on and the MSM is pretending that they know best and Trump is a liar. This is supposed to drag on until after the mid-terms, and the damage is done, then it will fold like a cheap tent. I don't think that it will be so easy to prove FBI malfeasance this time, all they really need is 1 page from 1 doc to make the claim that they had a right to be there.

  41. Then there's a show like Ms Marvel. An MCU show about a Muslim teen who gets Super Powers from a family relic which actually has quite positive reviews. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/ms_marvel/s01 I didn't make it past the first episode, not my thing, but def not a bomb. The race of the characters in question have little baring on the quality of this particular show, unless you get upset about seeing POC on a show based on a fiction that didn't previously have them.

  43. Yes, you're a fool if you believe that BLM protests are in any way connected to the Capitol Insurrection. Do you even understand what they're about? Let me help you out: Trump PLANNED the insurrection to PREVENT the certification of Biden's VICTORY. BLM protests are about cops killing unarmed black men and lying about their crimes. AKA, racial injustice. Now MAYBE you can explain how those 2 issues are connected, but I doubt it based on your previously posted gratuitous opinions with no reasoning.

Do you also oppose such white-washing as making the The Ancient One in Dr. Strange a White woman? I've read that Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad, Mandalorian and the Boys may become the MCU's Professor X. I can imagine how many kittens Fanboys will want to punch over that.

  45. Oh FFS. Everybody pays taxes. You can not designate where your tax money goes. Quebecer and Newfie people pay taxes and the province gets equalization payments. Provinces do not pay taxes, they collect it, people pay taxes. Oh FFS!!! "Equalization is financed by the Government of Canada from general revenues, which are largely raised through federal taxes. Provincial governments make no contributions to the Equalization program. All Canadians are subject to the same federal income tax system and its progressive rate structure, regardless of where they live." https://www.canada.ca/en/department-finance/programs/federal-transfers/equalization.html

  49. In my last post I pointed out just how techs can make the doctors and surgeons more efficient. That doesn't lower standards or steal doctors from the Third world that needs them even more than we do. Like for example why does my amazon order get from Toronto to the boonies in northern BC in 48 hours when lab results often take more than a week to get to the clinic one block away? When both places are on the same network it shouldn't take any longer than sending a file to my home NAS!
