If you ignore all the similarities between Canada and Nazi Germany then it doesn't seem very fascist, but when you take into account the fact that -the PM is also the AG, -we have political prisoners, -we have a gesundheitspass, -cops here are beating people up for political reasons, -bank accounts are frozen for political reasons, -the PM has 100% control over the mainstream media, and -book burning (internet censorship) is normalized by brainwashed LPOC sycophants... this is 1933 Germany.3 points

So you don't think he's vile. Ok. I think you have just said something about yourself... but I would NOT say you represent the right-wing. That's a fallacy. Carry on... ?2 points

That same girl got an education, she honored her fathers wishes, she made him proud...for me, that was worth 3 years of my life... Why would you know, the majority of Canadians tuned out of Afghanistan on year 2 , and for the more than 16 years that NATO was there then an entire generation of women got an education, got to do things you take advantage of every day, like TV , intra net, open a business, go to school go to university. Advance women's right by empowering Afghanis women...use cell phones, libraries, access to electricity, paved high ways, and a shit ton more.... all paid for with Canadians soldiers lives....there and here... Here is the rub for me, the majority of Canadians did not want us over there, to help a people who could not help themselves, they did not care when we where there , why would they care now... Canadians where happy when funding was cut, not just for the combat portion, but for everything including major projects like rebuilding the dam, schools hospitals etc...DND took all of that on and a lot of the small stuff like hospitals, ambulances, fire trucks was funded by soldiers digging into their own pockets.....not by Canadians back home, there are exceptions like the elderly women from Newfoundland that would knit thousands of pairs of mittens, from free and send them to soldiers to hand them out to afghans children...or the mountains of school supplies that clogged military aircraft every flight, but that was the minority...So why Canadians feel the need to complain or point out what we did or did not do is above me... Justin promised to return the 40,ooo plus Afghanis who help our nation take the fight to the terrorist... and todate we have rescued 10,000, of those numbers 5000 have been rescued by ex military and private donations....which kind of states we still don't give a sweet fuck we got another war to cheer for...sorry for the rant. ....but it is easy to quarter back after the game... Not attacking the opium trade was a political decision had nothing to do with grunts on the ground...but then again you don't seem to understand the economy at the time, farmers made a merger living off of growing opium and they had to feed families as well, it was that or go get paid by the Taliban to fighting us...1 point

If leftists are to be judged by the ones on this site, they're past the point of being vile. Our PM was blatantly hatemongering against unjabbed people on television, even people like Bill Maher and Elon Musk noted the comparisons between Trudeau's speech and Hitler-speak, but our left-wing here defended it and even lied for him. That's vile. Peaceful protesters were badly beaten by police here after they were on their knees and the media here covered it all up. Leftists here won't even look at the video evidence of it, or if they do they try to act like it's not conclusive enough for them to believe it. That's vile. Our banking institutions here became political pawns, freezing the accounts of dissidents here without judicial involvement. Leftists applauded it. That's vile. Freedom of speech is regularly trampled by social media, for example a credible & highly plausible topic like the lab leak "theory" or Hunter's laptop, and leftist here applaud it. That's vile. Leftists here regurgitated all of the MSM propaganda about the Freedom Convoy, while knowing that it was untrue. That's vile. For sure the avg leftist in Canada is vile, in the exact same way that the Germans of 1933 who supported the Nazis were vile. Those Germans hated Jews and they thought that they were doing the right thing by regurgitating Hitler's lies and following his anti-Semitic vitriol. Ditto for LPOCers. LPOCers know that most of what they're saying isn't true, but they like saying it. That's vile.1 point

You're in no position to talk about credibility or to judge people's intelligence. This requires some proof. Can you cite some things that he said which were make-believe? Or exaggerated bullshit? For all I know he could be guilty as charged, but your opinion on the matter is worthless. You need a cite showing his own statements, in context, which were unknown at the time he said them and then didn't age well, or that were known to be lies when he said them. This coming from an alt-leftist, part of a group that loudly proclaims the guilt of Brett Kavanaugh based on the flimsiest allegation in the history of rape cases, and that also got sucked in by Jussie Smollett, Russian collusion, Ukrainian collusion, and the hijab hoax, among others. Gimme a break. Based on past history you should be screaming "J'ACCUSE" anytime anyone says anything. Your imbecilic reply is therefore just another example of your word-vomit and the conclusion[s] you draw in it are hypocritical and moronic.1 point

I got the direct message by the Democrats. Yes, they would prefer I did not exist. The similarities between President Trump and President Biden President Trump agreed to withdraw US forces from Afganistan. President Biden followed through on Trump's commitment. President Trump was "America First." President Biden is "America First." President Trump tried to hold back the human tsunami crossing the southern border. President Biden is trying to hold back the human tsunami crossing the southern border. President Trump ran enormous deficits. President Biden is running even bigger deficits. President Trump fast tracked the developement of covid vaccines and has upset his base by telling the American people to get vaccianted. President Biden has been trying to get everyone vaccianted. There are differences between the administrations, mostly in style, but on the important things, they are quite similar. It just goes to show, governments only have a narrow range of options.1 point

My experience is the left wing is far more vitriolic. We think you are wrong. They think you shouldn't exist.1 point

I live in Saskatchewan and Tim Hortons only came here in the mid to late 1990s. They arrived just in time to celebrate some '50th' anniversary for ALL of Canada as though they've been here all along. Such Eastern Canadian bias suffices to make me not like this company. Their coffee is NOT as good quality and, any accolades regarding paying for 'ethical' sources of coffee seems more of a justification to prop up their charge to the customer. While I also understand things like smoking should be discouraged, that company also lead the campaign to promote an anti-smoking hatred of others, something that seemed to me to go against the correlation that most smokers have with drinking coffee. ....and, finally, they brought larger prices for donuts with smaller sizes and managed to encourage all others to do the same. I can still remember buying apple fritters that were huge here in Saskatoon before they came. Tim Hortons introduced those cupcakes that have a cup-size of about an inch with the top part seeming to be normal. I know some who buy daily there out of some belief in it as 'supporting Canadian business'. But that was always expected prior to any Covid crisis. I agree to also NOT supporting places like A&W who boasts how they make their burgers from Canadian cattle that eat grass. But what is that in contrast to? I never thought cows ate beef! And IF they ate something other than plain grasses, like perhaps, corn (?), wouldn't that just mean they are admitting to feeding 'our' cows with the lowest possible quality of grass? Eat in. Save your money. Yes, it may affect the success of restaurant businesses. But those companies have always been the most cost cutting with respect to employee wages and other means of exploitation.1 point

Slow Clap ? Russia can only win this war by completely destroying Ukraine like they did to Mariupol. The fact that they are having such trouble taking Eastern Cities shows how inept they are. If Russia think they can revise their military aims by simply taking chunks of territory, they must realize that the cost has become being a global pariah. AND it has motivated Germany to exceed them military in spending. This entire sad affair has accomplished the exact opposite of what Putin wanted.1 point

Now you're just being silly, Canada is nowhere close to being a fascist country LOL! There is no classification index or system recognized at scholar level institutions or academy's of political science anywhere on the planet that puts Canada under a heading titled Fascist. None at all.1 point

I don't doubt for a second those Shiite dogs are a bunch of savages. As to Iranian people, the few I've met were happy to get out of Iran. There are some in Iran who oppose the Islamic fundamentalist dictatorship, but I suspect there are also many who support it. All it requires is a sizable population of stupid people, and that, is surprisingly easy to make it seems. A totalitarian government needs people to be stupid and uneducated to support them. Their message appeals to the more primitive and barbarous, so there must be many religious zealots in Islamic countries. As for banning the soccer team, not sure if that would accomplish anything. It's better to engage with your adversary in some ways. Iran the country does not deserve praise or recognition, but banning has problems of its own. You want to do something useful ban FIFA instead. And ban the bloody Olympics, too.1 point

Talking to idiots is a real torture, CIA can efficiently use it, It even works better than waterboarding! As I said you don't even know what does hijab mean, you don't know anything about Iran. You just know how to parrot other sheeple's lies, i'm sorry for you.1 point

Actually what Mike has is Wikipedia letting their lefty flag fly quoting the Huffington Post claiming Stew Peters called for a lynching by saying in a speech “Tony Fauci literally unleashed a bio weapon on the world. Why is this man running around free instead of hanging on the end of a noose somewhere?” Oh yeah and according to the leftist editors at Wikipedia, Michelle Malkin isn't just a neo-nazi. She's a white nationalist. For those of you who don't know much about Michelle Malkin. This is Michelle: Actually those Wiki slurs and smears are more insinuations. They also insinuate she and anybody not joining the call for America First as Pariah as being something they call "far right." If you're unsure what they mean by "Far Right" you can look it up. This is what the Wiki editors mean when they insinuate Michelle Malkin is "far right": So " ethnic cleansing, or genocide against groups of people based on their supposed inferiority or their perceived threat to the native ethnic group". Apparently Wikipedia believes this is a big concern of people like Michelle Malkin. And if People like Stew Peters or Michelle speak at America First events Mike thinks it's AOK to go Swat 'em. Anything else you'd like to say to confirm the sentiments of the thread title, Mikey?1 point

GREY produces an examination of over 80 covid 19 studies from around the world that shows lockdowns relied on false assumptions that overestimated benefits and underestimated harms. (by Douglas W Allen) GREY: here we have a contrary opinion to lockdowns, that the harms vastly outweighed the evidence. Hinshaw: this is the opinion of one individual. I would not be able to comment [but the contrary opinion is from an economist who looked at over 80 studies on lockdowns] The judge allows Hinshaw to be questioned on the examination of those 80 studies. GREY: but wasn't that misinformation then? Hinshaw: we didn't know that information to be inaccurate at the time. Hinshaw: there have been many studies around the world about the impacts of non-pharmaceutical interventions. (she doesn't mention any Alberta studies, instead talks about ICU numbers in relation to when restrictions were imposed) GREY: give us an example of a scientific study that was commissioned by the province of Alberta that shows lockdowns were effective. AHS lawyer objects. GREY: she expressed her opinion. I am asking for the data to back up the opinion. Judge allows1 point

Stew Peters.... NOT VILE !!! "He was a speaker at the 2022 America First Political Action Conference, where he called for Anthony Fauci to be lynched by hanging, and for Vernon Jones to be executed by electric chair, before being rebuked by conference organizer Nick Fuentes.[6][7]" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stew_Peters1 point

OK, let me issue a minor clarification for eyeball: You get to choose whether or not to take the pseudovax in Canada, it might harm you, it won't do anything for most people, but not choosing it means that you're excluded from cultural events, restaurants, movies and you can even have your job taken away from you. Still, that's what passes for "a choice" in this newly fascist country.1 point

Not at all dude. You're not the only person here or in the MSM who's said "No one was forced to take the vax", which is the exact opposite of the truth. That doesn't make what you said true, so what's your point. I never accused anyone of saying that. I was making the point that taking your job away if you don't vax is the exact same thing as taking your car away if you don't get vaxed. It's not a legitimate option in a free, democratic society. No, not true. The gov't came right out and said that members of the military had to get vaccinated. Ditto for police, ditto for hospital workers. I'm not aware of any privately owned companies forcing employees to get vaxed or lose their jobs. I don't think it's actually legal. It's not a load of BS at all. People who left for not vaxing were not eligible for CERB. People who "voluntarily" left their jobs because they refused the vax weren't eligible for EI. No one can just quit their job and get EI. The gov't had people over a barrel and gave 'em the Weinstein. There are no legal consequences for refusing the injection of an unwanted serum into your body. You either give your informed consent or you don't, and there's no such thing as a legal consequence not giving your consent. You just did it in this very post. Are you kidding me? According to your understanding of how the law should work, the gov't can say "We will take your job away if you don't take this vaccine" and you have no recourse. How about if you've worked somewhere for 15 years and you have 6 weeks of holidays, full benefits, a good pension plan and the gov't says "Stick this needle in your arm"? What can we do in your perfect world? What's the difference between the gov't saying: "You will lose your job if you don't take the vaccine" and "We will take away your house, your car, and all of the money in your bank accounts if you don't take the vaccine"? Sure, one is worse, but they're both extremely bad, and if you are unable to work for long enough you'll lose all those things anyways - it's just a matter of time. Did you know that in most provinces in Canada, if you don't pay your property taxes for 3 years, your house gets auctioned off? I'm not sure about Quebec, but that's the case everywhere else. OMG dude, you have no idea what precedents were just set by the last round of fascism. The gov't can unilaterally freeze your bank accounts without the knowledge or consent of any judge in the country. A pillar of our democracy has been rendered useless. The gov't can force you to take whatever vaccines they want now, the precedent has been set. These covid vaccines HAD SERIOUS KNOWN SIDE EFFECTS AND WERE NOT WORKING when people were being forced to take them. The Nuremburg Code says that it's a war crime to force people to take drugs which haven't gone through successful trials. That's actually the case with the pseudovaxes, because they didn't complete their trials. That's why people had to sign a waiver to take the vax. In the case of people who were forced by the government to take the vax as a condition to keep their jobs, the waiver that they signed will be meaningless, as coercion makes contracts unenforceable upon the affected parties. People who were harmed by the vaccines will actually be able to sue, it's just a matter of whether they get to sue the gov't or the drug companies. And a lot of young, healthy people who didn't need protection from covid were harmed.1 point

You can be excluded from cultural events, restaurants and movies or have your job taken away by the clothing you choose to wear (or not wear). Somehow that didn't make us fascist so I'm not sure why a vaccine mandate would, other than your delusions about about its purpose and efficacy.0 points
