  1. Your sense of compassion is out of this world, kind of like telling an earth quake victim he had it coming since you knew he was living on a fault line.....But then again when did any liberal give a rats ass about the Military....I do want you to know that those men and women that stand those lines everyday, they do it for all Canadians , you included.....Yes moon pie your military loves you....each and everyone of them would gladly lay down their lives for this nation or it's citizens....but lets not kid our self they are not in charge are they....The federal government is in charge....it's how our nation works....but in typical liberal fashion you need to point a finger at someone or something....and since your an extremist liberal, well sir you got a lot of wagging fingers.... Moon pie, your not getting it are you, your beloved Liberal party sent us to Afghanistan, Mr Chretien also sent us into Kosovo, both the army and the air force just in case anything needed bombing....He also sent our air force F-18's and our navy to be used in the war against Iraq were they were used to patrol the gulf, and in one case an f-18 tried to sink an Iraq armed patrol boat with an air to air missile because we could not afford to bring bombs....Justin has also sent us into Iraq once again,....lets not forget Ukraine...and other eastern European countries to act as a trip wire incase the Russians decide to attack.... As for Omar, nothing you say will change the fact that he has tried and convicted of murder, along with 4 other charges....thats got to burn your ass with a 4 ft flame....to know that a Muslim terrorist is still not paid for all his crimes....Maybe next year he'll be able to travel to Meca, and see his sister...or maybe not... I don't want to debate anything with you, I just going to continue to show the other posters here that your a fraud , a liar, and a bullshit artist, your here to do nothing more than troll the other good members here....

  5. I'm holding back my conclusion about him until there's more information. Eyeball stated that it is a "FACT" that he is just a run-of-the-mill psycho with no ties to Islamic extremism. It's not a FACT - until it's reported by an actual expert in that field. What is so difficult for you to understand about that? This "psychologist"? https://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/furey-meet-the-spin-doctor-behind-the-hussain-family-statement The man who has presented himself as the point of contact for the family of Faisal Hussain is a professional activist who has reportedly committed himself to “framing a new narrative of Muslims in Canada” and creating a “national political movement.” But despite his familiarity with media, Hashim refused to answer questions from the Sun about the Hussain family and his connection with them, including how long he had known them and whether he reached out to them or vice versa. I didn't "push aside" what the police reported. I said 2 run-ins with the police is not evidence of him being diagnosed with any kind of mental illness. If I'm wrong, then please explain to me how it IS. Also, some family friends dispute what his family said in the statement. I don't think it's funny when people say those things. I think that's lying. His family can say anything they want - blame anyone they want. It doesn't make it a fact. No psychologist has confirmed anything they said. And him having a couple of apprehensions by the police also does not prove he is mentally ill. You are free to "think" that he is mentally ill but it is false to claim that this has been proven. It has not. And some here want him to NOT be a Muslim terrorist SO BAD that they are willing to lie and call the paid shill a "psychologist" and police reports as "diagnoses".

  6. Thanks for your support as well as that of others, some of whom have messaged me to among other things provide alternative forums for political debate. The site administrator has assured me the situation on here has returned to a semblance of normalcy. I don't mind others expressing their views but believe the situation had deteriorated to the point that rational discussion and debate had become almost impossible on many topics. It's impractical to ignore somebody when they continue to weigh in on your posts and your discussions and debates with others. It's like trying to swim with one hand tied behind your back. I hope the situation improves and that discussion and debate from this point forward remains productive and civil.

  8. Hardly the first government shutdown in U.S. history, and this one is only a partial as many other appropriations are completed. Previously, Democrats shut down the government to cater to illegals...didn't go over very well then either. Nothing like that...U.S. prez already has constitutional authority to act. A Canadian PM with a ruling majority has far more unchecked power than a U.S. president.

  11. Unifor Dias criticizes government (Ontario and Fed) for being quiet about GM. What does Dias think? That they can force a company to remain open and operate - just because the Union demands it? Are you kidding me? Enough of that grandstanding, Dias! I know it hurts Canada to lose so many jobs - but, the sooner we accept that reality, the better it'll be. MOVE ON!

  13. That's how Cultural Marxism works, everything is in the paradigm of the oppressor vs. oppressed Pseudo Marxist dialectic. So all the lefties are terrorist sympathizers because all the lefties have been indoctrinated into CM since the 1970's, and the United States, as the Global Hegemon, and Arch Nemesis of the Canadian Left, is always the default oppressor, and the terrorists are just being "oppressed" by America.

  14. Dude, you are a terrorist sympathizer. When terrorists read your posts they say to themselves “this guy truly appreciates what we’re doing and why we’re doing it.” It makes them feel like the good guys. How can you possibly think you’re not sympathetic to their political “cause”?

  21. I'm dismayed by some of the stuff people post on here and the tactics employed by some to undermine other contributors. I'm tired of being bullied merely for raising rational arguments and believe it personally necessary to take a break from this site. Maybe the reasonable and productive contributors, who can in a civil fashion disagree with one another, should all take a break. Do you know of any other political discussion sites, particularly sites that focus on Canadian politics?

  24. The Tholian Web is by far my favourite. Also did a lot of Star Fleet Battles as a kid. That's for OTS Overall fave series would have to be Deep Space 9. I have to put Cisco up as my fave captain. But the Star Trek I really want to see, and now that might be possible is 'Prelude to Axanar' and after a big battle with Paramount, they have been given the green light to go ahead with the project. I think that is coming on the heals of 'Discovery', which had potential, but overal fails in my view. The first two eps were super amazing and I loved the Klingons new look and feel. They felt very alien and very fleshed out as a species and culture. I highly recommend checking out the Axanar project. It has a lot of potential if done in that 'documentary' style, but even the other footage of the live acting is top notch. Does not hurt to have veteran Trek actors pitching in.

I don't mind your trolling, I mean, it's unoriginal, you need to come up with new stuff instead of just posting the same thing over and over again, but it doesn't bother me, knock yourself out.

  27. In the "Trudeau worst PM Ever" thread Montgomery said that the US had 9/11 coming. So the impression that you got was entirely accurate. Now the terrorist sympathizers are out promoting Trudeau and painting Scheer and the PCs as racists and greedy capitalists with no remorse. He was trying to get me banned or suspended for calling him a terrorist sympathizer but it doesn't work, because I just keep quoting the parts where he says the US had 9/11 coming to them.

  30. If that's what you think, why are you still upholding Confederation? Because none of this can be changed so long as we are ruled by the Liberal Dingbats of the Eastern Urbane Elites, and no, the Tories will not save us. Canadian Confederation is Suzuki Nation, down in the bones. He's the Guru of the Dingbats.

  32. Excerpted below are two stories of African-Americans who understand that illustrate that racial minorities can, if they try become valuable contributors to themselves and society, and that there are higher goals than being a victim. Multiculturalism encourages victimhood, while integration encourages accomplishment, and maximal contribution by all to society. In the first story, the son of an alchoholic, abusive father has become an extraordinarily hard working principal of a racially diverse school. He has made New Rochelle, New York a better place for all. The second story has a 21 year old who grew up in foster care living in his own apartment and working two jobs to support himself and get ahead. Multiculturalism brings the worst parts of all minority cultures to Canada, with little of the discipline that make the originating societies "work" to any extent. Frankly, the fact that they emigrated should mean they want someothing better than what they had. These people are contributors, and shining examples to all, not only to minorities. ========================================================== (Original publication: February 21, 2007) New Rochelle principal puts his all into job By KEN VALENTI THE JOURNAL NEWS (Link) When Joseph Williams was about 13, waiting to get into a recreation center in the Bronx, he took a ribbing for carrying a book in his back pocket. He transfixed the other basketball players with his description of his reading matter, "Manchild in the Promised Land," Claude Brown's account of rising from crime and poverty in Harlem that begins with the narrator as a teenager being shot while in a fish-and-chips joint. He still remembers what one friend told him then. "He said, 'You know Jo-Jo, you're gonna be different from us,' " Williams recalled. "He said, 'You read, you do well in school. You're going to go on, you're going to go on to college. You're not going to be like us.' " Three years later, the friend was in prison for attempted rape. Williams was on his way to a life in education. Now 44, Williams is the principal of Daniel Webster Magnet School in New Rochelle and is married with two sons. He said he feels the pressure to succeed more than for just himself and his family. *snip* "That is my goal; that my children will have a better life than I have," he said. ======================================================= Hastings man making it on his own after growing up at Children's Village Original publication: February 28, 2007 By LEAH RAE THE JOURNAL NEWS (link) Ronnell McFadden says he's used to people looking at him with lower expectations. He knows that people on the street may not see past the color of his skin and that others get suspicious when they hear where he grew up - in a foster-care institution, separated from a mother with a drug addiction and a father he never knew. But when McFadden tells his own story, he keeps circling back to one main point: "I know I can do anything that I put my mind to. I'm proud that I think that way. I'm proud of myself that I know that." "Sky's the limit" is how McFadden describes life, at 21, with an apartment and a job, working in sanitation for the village of Hastings. *snip* About two years ago, McFadden moved off campus to a supervised, shared apartment in Yonkers, then found his own place near the Hastings-Yonkers border. At 21, McFadden has officially "aged out" of foster care. He supports himself with a full-time sanitation job at the Hastings Department of Public Works and has a part-time job at Stop & Shop.

  33. Yeah, I wouldn't hold your breath on the Chinese and Russians standing up to the Americans with nuclear weapons, the Russians and Chinese are well aware that they are thoroughly outclassed by the US military and in the event of a nuclear conflagration the American counterforce would cripple their deterrents resulting in most of it never getting off the ground, the CONUS would take some hits, but the Union would not perish from this earth, while Eurasia would take the vast vast brunt of it. The thing about the Balance of Terror, is that its rather imbalanced in the Americans favour, as while the Russians and Chinese have the nukes, they don't have the global comprehensive early warning that the Americans do, so while the Americans can see them coming from a long ways off, the Russians are Chinese are actually vulnerable to a preemptive counterforce option.

  35. But why cannot someone discriminate against anyone they want too? Are we a free people or not and are we free to be able to choose or not? If I am straight and want to rent my suite out to only straight people then that should be my right to do so. The government has no right to tell me as to who I can rent my suite out too. Just because it is supposed to be the law does not mean that it is a good law. Yes/no? Some laws in Canada appear at times to be quite communistic. You will do as you are told or face a fine or jail time says the government even though the law may be some what stupid to have been implemented in the first place. It is getting to the point that if I now say that I hate you for instance that could be considered a hate crime under the hate laws of Canada. Hey, you never know. This is Canada, don'y you know? Anyway, I love you. Lol.

  36. Look, its not about "hating" on gays and depriving them of their human rights. Its about not encouraging it as far is government and culture is concern. About time snowflakes learn the nuanced difference. Also when the government force it down our throat it grind my gear. If I want to object to baking a cake for a gay couple on religious ground then that is within my "god-given" rights. Fact is, it is a private business, I can refuse service to ANYONE. On a cultural note, there is nothing wrong with thinking two man kissing as disgusting. If you think that it is "normal" then that's your opinion just don't try to force the rest of us to thinking that it isn't nasty. You're entitled to your own opinion as are the rest of us.
