Most killing is not done at 300m and the weapon used here doesn't appear to be an AR either... 

The focus here was on the lethality of a firearm.

The poster you quoted was replying to robo, who didn't limit the range at all, he just said 'the AR is the most lethal for reasons that you plebes don't understand' and that was it.

Obviously the .50 cal is far more lethal than the AR. It's mainly considered an anti-material weapon, and it has far higher velocity and several times the kinetic energy of an AR round. 

The SG is devastating from close in: it's like getting shot 15 times at once.

They were watching dancing with the stars and the winner was announced at the exact same time as the news anchor was receiving news of Kirk's demise in his earpiece.

I don't know though, I only saw the video of Charlie, not one of the person asking the question. 

There was one that was stage left, with a quartering view that included the line of students that were selected to ask the questions, the mic they would use and Charlie. The guy asking the question was handy blonde (I think), wearing a Grey t-shirt that was unlucky, he was white. But his shock was pure. There was a clear startled jump and shake. He didn't know it was coming. Not in my opinion.

I heard a report that he had been cleared as well.

1. AR's kill less people than almost any other gun and most other murder weapons. Handguns kill 5x as many people as AR's
2. AR's are the main weapon that Americans have which actually offers them 2nd amendment protection from a tyrannical gov't...
3. The AR is the only weapon that the Dems truly hate. If you try to take handguns away from inner-city criminals, the Dems lose their minds.

Judges base the amount of bail required on the risk of flight posed by the accused, their rap sheet, the amount of evidence against them, the severity of their crime, the level of violence in their crime, the danger to the general public posed by them, etc, etc.
