Moonlight Graham Posted August 13, 2025 Report Posted August 13, 2025 Israeli government claims he was a Hamas terror leader. Al Jazeera and human rights groups deny this. The problem here is that i'm not naive enough to believe the Israeli government, Al Jazeera, or human rights groups without evidence. Same with the National Post or CBC News. Who even has credibility any more? Not many. We live in perilous times. 1 3 Quote "All generalizations are false, including this one." - Mark Twain Partisanship is a disease of the intellect.

paxamericana Posted August 13, 2025 Report Posted August 13, 2025 (edited) I’ve been warning this forum about the cabal of banking globalist elites in Davos for close to a decade now. They bought out the traditional media. You can understand the news better if you understand that their agenda is tied to financial markets. It’s a heavy price to go against the establishment narrative. Most of the forums members did just that when confronted with this reality. A Trumpian spirit is what you need. Damn the cost, you bring truth to power. The consequences of mass immigration was met with ridicule by some of the members on this forum but have nonetheless came true for all to witness. I thought the proper right wing response was to default to the view the CBC is left wing, Al Jazeera is a terrorist propaganda organ so ergo the 'journalist' must obviously a Hamas terrorist leader. 1 Quote I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

CdnFox Posted August 13, 2025 Author Report Posted August 13, 2025 15 hours ago, Moonlight Graham said: They're filled with political activists. They don't deserve the benefit of the doubt without evidence. Sure. And without a doubt there is no group out there now that has a great reputation when it comes to being perfect with credibility. So you either have to corroborate or look at the 'balance of probability' (What seems plausible). Israel doesn't have much reason to randomly accuse people of that, and they're not saying any of the other journalists were connected to terror cells. so why would they pick on this one guy? They've said it about him for some time. ANd it's understandable that they don't provide a lot of evidence as it would likely compromise their information sources. So we can't be sure either way and we aught to be very open to changing our opinion if more data comes along but the logical position initially is that if a gov't organization that really doesn't have much reason to randomly pick out one journalist over many says they believe he was a terror cell leader that's more credible than the known bias newspaper saying he isn't. 1 Quote "That which doesn't kill me... herbie Posted August 13, 2025 Report Posted August 13, 2025 In plain words, the CBC reported the news, that an Al Jazeera correspondent was among those killed. The post reported the claim by Israel he was a Hamas leader. Those are two different stories. One about a group of people killed by an Israeli strike, one about a targeted execution disregarding all the others killed in the process. 2 Quote

CBC is left wing, Al Jazeera is a terrorist propaganda organ, but there's evidence yet (that i've seen) about the journalist. This is neither a leftwing or rightwing response, these are simply the facts at the moment. Aristides Posted August 14, 2025 Report Posted August 14, 2025 (edited) So far 234 journalists have been killed in Gaza, I suppose they all must have been Hamas operatives.Very disappointing that the NP would just accept Israel's word with no corroberation.
