To his credit, these things didn't concern Trump, and Biden is on record against the travel bans even in Europe in early March 2020. He backtracked later that month. Fortunately the Trudeau gov and Biden admin have adapted better to the threat. Risking offending someone should generally not prevent people from doing the right thing.
