Too late now.  Buckle up, son, this could be a wild ride, yeehaw.

I'm in a very remote community. I'm mostly bored. My sleep is off, and waiting for the snow to melt, so I can work on my trail. Maybe I should collect firework, and sell it during the depression.

I thought about this. Whether this virus is natural or man-made.... Humans have been destroying the earth due to overpopulation, and using way too much land, and resources... As a consequence our economy is going to be destroyed and millions are going to die.

The meaning behind Noah's Arc, is that your given the opportunity to save yourself, if you are willing to get prepared. I decided to leave Toronto and bug out 2 weeks ago. I won't line up in soup kitchens, I will live off the land, even if I can't make money for a long time.

Maybe humans were never meant to be slaves living in mega cities, and a correction is in order. Maybe were suppose to downsize and reemerge with nature.

I think this is just the beginning. There are worse pandemics to come. When this is over. I want to permanently move out of the city, and i'll never move back. Right now, i'm in one of the best locations, but if things spin out of control. I know where i'm headed.

Prepping is also shown in the narrative of Joseph (who saw the coming famine in the king's dream, and had prepared for it).

Genesis 41

46 Joseph was thirty years old when he entered the service of Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from Pharaoh’s presence and traveled throughout Egypt.

47 During the seven years of abundance the land produced plentifully. 48 Joseph collected all the food produced in those seven years of abundance in Egypt and stored it in the cities. In each city he put the food grown in the fields surrounding it. 49 Joseph stored up huge quantities of grain, like the sand of the sea; it was so much that he stopped keeping records because it was beyond measure.

50 Before the years of famine came, two sons were born to Joseph by Asenath daughter of Potiphera, priest of On. 51 Joseph named his firstborn Manasseh[e] and said, “It is because God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father’s household.” 52 The second son he named Ephraim[f] and said, “It is because God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering.”

53 The seven years of abundance in Egypt came to an end, 54 and the seven years of famine began, just as Joseph had said. There was famine in all the other lands, but in the whole land of Egypt there was food. 55 When all Egypt began to feel the famine, the people cried to Pharaoh for food. Then Pharaoh told all the Egyptians, “Go to Joseph and do what he tells you.”

56 When the famine had spread over the whole country, Joseph opened all the storehouses and sold grain to the Egyptians, for the famine was severe throughout Egypt. 57 And all the world came to Egypt to buy grain from Joseph, because the famine was severe everywhere.

If this is a bioweapon, we need to find out who's responsible, and bring them to justice. Maybe it's time we start to eliminate our nuclear weapons, and think about our future.

Should be noted that it's not just old people in the hospitals on ventilators

What is happening in Italy is that they are having to triage now, taking the ventilator away from the oldest, in order to try to save the younger

So the old people are being disconnected first, that's why they are dying first, but those ventilators are being used on younger persons to keep them alive

Given the numbers and the lack of the proactiveness from the italian government I am not actually surprised. Italy is a lesson for other western government not to repeat the same mistake. Fortunately with the WHO emphasis on "test" "test" "test" The UK and other western governments have stepped up the gear discussing with manufacturers to increase production of ventilators. Macron announced 300bn euro injection into the economy. Delay phase strategy has already started.

The epidemic appears to follow a consistant pattern. It crests about 2 weeks after it takes hold in an area and declines for another 2 weeks as people recover. Italy has the most per capita cases at about 450 cases per million( Canada currently is 11.7). In other words, most people will not get it. Of those who do, most cases are mild and few people die from it. Canada has the advantage of seeing the experience of other countries and we can act accordingly. If we make the effort / sacrifice to stay home as much as possible, and wash our hands thoughly and fequently, we can minimize the impact and we will be in full recovery a month from now. Those are your subjective beliefs...nothing else. You preach using fear. You were triggered by someone suffering from bipolar disorder and currently in a hyper manic phase.

You need to understand using religion to try scare people in times of crisis is not helpful to anyone.

Am I talking to you?   Why don't you just ignore me ......................if my post triggers this great fear in you.

Anyway, what's scary about the benefits of  dependency on God - it works for me!

If you don't believe in God - maybe you can take comfort  in your "knowledge" that death would be final!  End of suffering. Whatever works for you!

What does the transition back to “normal life” look like?  The US feds are recommending groupings of no more than 10 people and saying this could continue until July or August.  We could see widespread lockdowns soon.  So, when and how does this end if the peak is appropriately 45 days from now?  I’m thinking closures will continue for some time.  Ford announced the closure of restaurants and bars except for takeout/delivery in Ontario. We’re all taking similar measures which are only tightening.

There may not be one. Right now in China there is renewed concern, all the people who were quarantined as a precaution are still vulnerable, none of them have acquired immunity. If they are let out and the virus is still somewhere out there lurking, it would come back in no time, and with a vengeance. It seems like quarantining only delays the inevitable and will actually make things worse. There is no place to hide.

Time and massive federal funded projects...to get everything moving again...we have just started this journey, things have been changing rapidly...once the virous has passed, it will alos take some time for things to get back to normal, but we are going to get through it, if we all keep calm, and our wits about us...

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

What makes you think this is a bio wpn, and why would any country use this virous when it has only a 3.5 % kill rate, some experiment, most of the info is available on the web today, or buried deep in some military research facility….if any nation was interested in using a bio wpn, it would a lot more effective than this one. IE Weaponized small pox has a death rate of about 30 %, and was much more contagious , be it contact, or vapor, ….created some time in the 70's, and not everybody has been inoculated , because it is thought to be wiped out, long ago..........one can only imagine what they have invented today... Russians have much more dangerous bio wpns than small pox...

Here is some advice from Italy were conditions are much worse than they are here....Note her responses, are not coming from someone that is panicked but rather learning to live with her new surroundings...And what is it she said about toilet paper, WWWHHHAAATTT it can't be....

The Chinese only shut down one province and that contracted their economy -20% in a single quarter, so I think the panic will start to shift from the virus to finances before too long

A practical shutdown of the real economy until the fall will be a disaster unto itself.

To be honest, there's going to be a huge lag period before we get our economy back to where we were just two weeks ago.

Too bad our country already gave away all of our money.

Well, it's like my mother is already completely out of work, she has no income, no savings, no assets

There's no money coming from the government, she's broke right now and I am paying 100% of her bills.

Trudeau certainly did take away our cushion, there's not much left in the pot for Canada.    Trudeau has a lot to answer for as his closing of borders which is too late, does not include Roxham Rd. where illegals are still coming in then handed free room and board, and gold plated medical care.

Meanwhile, my son was laid off yesterday but the waiver of the two week EI wait is only if you are actually quarantined.

The Feds have a cushion, but that cushion was made by downloading unto the provinces

The issue is that the cushion goes away real fast, if you have bail Ontario out, never mind the rest of Confederation.

Too much dooms and glooms at the moment. Panic causes chaos. Chaos provides a perfect environment for this virus to grow...

The only places bordering on chaos are some hospitals overrun with patients and running of of equipment to deal with them.

The rest of us are just taking precautions.
