Lol this was all done now because Bibi wanted to give his buddy Donald a W and so he dragged his feet on making a deal even though it cost thousands of lives including those of the hostages. This is obviously the case given the plan is basically identical to the one Biden put forth last May that Hamas accepted and Netanyahu refused. Everything else is theatre for rubes like the OP.4 points

You don’t know what the value of Canada is. You think it’s communism, as all of your posts about getting free stuff from the government paid for by working people illustrate. The question that should be asked is, What agreements and forms of governance best serve the interests of Canadians? If you believe in massive government that overspends on excessive and ineffective programs, over-regulates business and speech, and refuses to properly defend the country, while denigrating the country and its history and pitting groups against each other, then the NDP-Liberal-UN Post-National State is for you. If you believe in free speech, entrepreneurial opportunity, minimal government interference, and maximal wealth generation, while celebrating the culture and history of Canada, then you want significant change. I hope the Conservatives can do it, but if they can’t get the country out from underneath China, woke-green lunatics, and the anti-Canadian Post-National State, 51st state starts to look very appealing. In order to have a country you have to believe in its values and that it’s worth defending. If you support democracy, you have to support freedom of speech and economic opportunity. If you support capitalism, you can’t make it hard for the country to develop its resources and for people to grow businesses. There has to be a vision worth following. I’ll take the American Dream over the Post-National surveillance state. The Conservatives are at least standing by a compelling vision of Canada.3 points

I'm afraid of talking to him, he says, as I bait him into another thin-skinned response. 🤡 You won the no-life medal for having absolutely nothing else going on in your life. Congratulations! Mike never had a chance, really. How can his 45,000 posts since 2003 contend with your 26,000 since 2023? The only thing more pathetic than that is that you're actually bragging about it. 🤣🤣🤣2 points

In lefty eyes, resisting the right is nonpartisan. Because resisting and nonpartisan are words that make them feel good. It doesn't matter what the words mean.2 points

You are so beyond dishonest. These bureaucrats didn't say they were following the law, they said they were going to resist Trump. We are the ones saying it is bad for this civil service to say they are going to resist Trump, a purely partisan thing... you are the one defending it.2 points

No, what Smith has presented are irrefutable facts supported by evidence. The role of the courts is not to question reality, but to see if this particular reality supports the charges. Having said that, I'll add that your opinion about a report you have not read is invalid.2 points

Well, we're adding a DOGE and a ERS now. 2 new agency-like entities to "shrink" the government. But on the other hand Americans apparently don't need education or an environment, so it'll probably balance out. 🙄 Boy are those MAGA voters who were whining about inflation (while spending their stimulus checks) going to be surprised when they show up at the Wal-Marts in their short-shorts and wife beaters to discover that most of the crap they buy is 20-60% more expensive.2 points

Bullshit. Trump has made numerous reasonable and plausible nominations to other posts. This one is a sad, pathetic joke--and you know it. Good gods, imagine that your company tried to hire a CEO with no leadership experience, no record of success and a shit-ton of troubling personal behavior on record. You'd think that was absurd. Because it is. Now multiply that by an organization probably 100x that size. ProTip: Just because the big orange buffoon says or does something doesn't mean you need to pretend that it's acceptable. You too can grow a conscience--and if things go really well, a spine! And no, we hated RFK long before he had anything to do with Trump, because RFK is an anti-science loon gassing up quack medical advice THAT IS LITERALLY KILLING CHILDREN.2 points

Yes you did, and continued to do so even after the economists admitted they were wrong. Bullshit. It's pretty obvious you don't care about any of this. Your frequent lack of knowledge also suggests you're not being honest. To you this is a game. Ahhh yes, once again you have to lie and pretend i said something i didn't. Again if you have to lie to make a point it's probably not a very good point. That it's a crisis. Climate change is real, but what is more of a question is whether it's a genuine crisis. You claim you believe it is...then you back a carbon tax you KNOW is doing nothing, the feds don't take any meaningful action on it, around the world we've got the same activists who are saying we have to stop using fossil fuels wanting to ban nuclear power, and none of the world's govts seem overly concerned about it, they just virtue signal. And people here keep asking for the scientific evidence that it's a crisis. ANd nobody ever produces any. You're going to monitor the effectiveness of the carbon tax.... with cameras. You have lost your teeny tiny little socialist mind. we can't deny that which you refuse to provide. If you actually had proof of any sort we could consider whether to deny it or not. Because it's a crisis! Trust me!! No no, don't think, don't worry about the truth, just trust me! It's a crisis. (the science says so probably!!!)2 points

I mentioned before, I have read Jack Smith's entire 165-page filing in the case of The United States of America vs. Donald Trump. (dated October 2, 2024) It lays out the evidence to support the case in Trump's illegal attempt to overturn the 2020 election. https://d3i6fh83elv35t.cloudfront.net/static/2024/10/gov.uscourts.dcd_.258148.252.0.pdf And now I am going to read the entire 174-page Final Report (dated January 7, 2025) https://www.justice.gov/storage/Report-of-Special-Counsel-Smith-Volume-1-January-2025.pdf1 point

Geoff Russ speaks baldly about the hypocrisy of the Canadian Left now pretending to be patriots. The Canadian left should sit this one out. After doing their utmost to undermine Canadian citizenship, culture and pride in our history, they do not deserve to even try and take up the mantle of patriotism. The memory of 1812 involves the Crown and the ideals of loyalism and martial valour, none of which are upheld, cherished or practised by the Liberal party and the broader progressive movement. Even Remembrance Day, the one day that the Canadian military and its traditions are not assaulted with DEI initiatives and ritual humiliation, has become a controversial topic on the Canadian left. These brave, admirable ideals are a language that the modern left is incapable of comprehending, let alone adopting and expressing. Terms like “diversity,” “inclusivity” and “decolonization” are their substitutions for the distinct Canadian national trinity of “peace, order and good government.” Outside the platitudes posted on social media, there are few signs that Liberals or progressives would do anything to fortify a culturally unique Canadian identity. https://nationalpost.com/opinion/liberals-turned-their-back-on-patriotism-providing-an-opportunity-for-conservatives1 point
