I hate to think of myself as being severely affected by external forces, so it is kind of bugging me that I'm so optimistic about the fact that Trump won, because the flip side of that is that I would have been miserable if he lost, and I think that's weak. That being said, I know that there are a lot of people who are sad that Kamala lost, but I'd just like to say to you all that I'm certain that if you just relax and try to stay optimistic for a while, you'll see that none of the horrors that Kamala spoke of will come to pass. This isn't the start of another reich and minorities won't be fed to sharks. It's good to see that in some states that voted for Trump, the abortion votes went the way that leftists would have hoped. That's a win for everyone, because a democratically-arrived-at abortion policy has now been adopted in those states, and the men and women who care about it deeply have achieved very real victories. Honestly I can't think of a stronger sign of a healthy democracy than people getting to vote 1 way on a major issue and vote another way along party lines. I'm certain that Trump will be able to get the Russia-Ukraine war ended on decent terms, although it won't be what Ukraine might have hoped for. I just want that war to end ASAP. The Israel-Hamas war is gonna be like brain surgery for Trump. You gotta make sure that you get the whole tumour out but you don't want to take out any extra or you might end up with another Dubya voter on your hands. Still, I think that the focus on getting that war over just ramped up 1,000%. The economy was getting better under Biden recently, which is good, and the stock markets have responded extremely positively to trump's return to the WH, which is good for everyone. Renewed faith in the economy means more investment and in turn more jobs. Today's 1,500-point jump on the Dow represents a bigger jump than the average year of Biden's presidency lol. Good news for leftists is that Trump can't win again, and there are some strong Dem candidates that emerged during this election cycle, such as Josh Shapiro. A lot of people feel like Kamala would probably have won if she chose him as a VP. He will be a force to be reckoned with in upcoming elections. We can't all win the election but we can all win if the world becomes more peaceful and if our economies start rolling. Thanks to all of our American cousins who voted for Trump and helped him win, and I hope that the next 4 years make all of the Kamala Harris supporters A-OK with this election result, however grudgingly that may be. Cheers!2 points

So you think there's no contradiction is promising to make the economy better and things more affordable while also promising to deport vast numbers of workers and enact inflationary tariffs? You are quite literally retarded.2 points

What I say is backed up by logic, observation, and reason. You are born a male or female, a doctor is not "assigning" that gender to you at birth, it is an observation of what you are. What you are doing, is playing a dishonest game of not actually responding to what I say, and just posting what someone else is saying to contradict me. That is not an argument. That is not a rebuttal. You can't actually bring yourself to argue against this obvious point.2 points

REALLY stupid people use an excuse like that to keep doing the same stupid shit. Your reign of wokeness is over, Mr. Marx.2 points

Not sure how you dummies can square "reducing bureaucracy and needless spending" with "creating a massive security and surveillance apparatus to track and deport immigrants" but if you were smart you wouldn't be Trump people.2 points

Oh Fck off. Nothing shameful when the vote counts went late into the night the early hours of the morning What’s shameful was Trump, the ultimate sore loser, who after the 2020 election tried to steal the election while refusing to concede and went on for month. How can you justify that while pretending to be upset about Kamala or Hillary’s brief delay of a few hours? You hypocrites are ridiculous2 points

After making him their candidate, and then telling him to sit home and shut up, and then using him for years, and telling him what to say and do, and pretending he didn't have dementia, and then suddenly saying "wait you do have dementia now, take a hike" .... I think he was a pretty loyal little puppy. Far from shooting him, they should buy him his own personal ice cream parlor on a beach somewhere and send him weekly tractor trailer loads of human hair to sniff for the rest of his life.1 point

The problem is he did halfway decent in the midterms. But yes, they definitely should have pushed him out earlier1 point
-
But they were the ones who wanted to push him into the Whitehouse like Weekend at Bernie's. I mean Biden having dementia makes him far less culpable in my eyes. They were willing to lie about it so they could use the Biden brand again. Then it blew up when it was too late. That's not on Biden. I mean everybody around him was saying he was a-ok and sharp as a tack. He probably believed it. The guy was a puppet. I mean quite literally, when you talk about someone being a political puppet, Joe Biden is now the prime example. I mean they actually had to have people leading him around half the time.1 point

Our national policy between 1991 and 2014 was to try to get Russia to align with us by incorporating them into the capitalist liberal-democracy realm. It failed because Putin wanted authoritarianism and imperialist expansionism. Trump is functionally a Russian asset and part of their own national policy of trying to get the US to align with them by abandoning our democratic values and our powerful post-WWII military alliance. Once Trump reduces NATO and thus marginalizes US power abroad, then China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran will be better positioned do whatever they want. I gaurantee you these leaders are popping corks today.1 point

The people who tried shooting at him were both republicans and the democrats anti-Trump rhetoric doesn’t even come close to the hateful bombast and conspiracies the right spews daily whether there’s an election or not.1 point

I guess it's easier for you to avoid the issue than deal with the cognitive dissonance involved with supporting a party that wants to hand Ukraine to Russia.1 point

Yes we know your preference is to end the existence of Ukraine as a sovereign democracy.1 point
-
I laid it out for you. The GOP wants to end aid to Ukraine. Trump is pals with Putin and said he will end the war. How you can't put two and two together here is simply shocking, but if you were smart you wouldn't be a Trump supporter.1 point

See Nobody except Trump has ever said the election was rigged or that the electoral process was riddled with corruption and secret agents and fraud. Everyone recognized the 2016 vote count was legitimate choice of American voters, criticism simply noted accurately that voters beliefs were influenced by interference by Putin and a witch-hunt investigation James Comey Theres a big difference between saying the public made its choice based on misleading information and Trumps rats nest of batshit claiming the system is rigged top to bottom with secret democratic agents and infiltrators and “mules” at all levels of government and society1 point

No, it wasn't very close. The pollser's numbers indiated it was much closer. As i pointed out earlier, going by my gut trump should win handily but going by the numbers it was close as hell and based on the numbers i thought he'd lose pensylvania which would make a win very very hard. (should have gone with my gut ) This was actually a pretty solid victory for trump. Kamala was down in the vast majority of counties, even where she won she won by a much smaller margin than biden for the most part. It is crystal clear the latino vote came out for trump. She got shellacked. But as i also noted earlier in fairness the odds were against her - she was not a talented candidate and you can overcome that with a really great plan, but she had NO time to plan at all. She was dropped in and to come up with a solid campaign at that point is just not going to happen even if you are skilled. But biden would have lost too. So. They needed to fix their problems before the nomination process started a year ago and they didn't.1 point

You should be offended. I am just making an observation.1 point

Ukraine, at least the parts currently under Russian occupation, are probably now lost to Russian aggression. Georgia and other Russian satellites may be next although with Trump aiding and abetting Putin these will likely come in the form of bloodless coups and Russian “military interventions” while Trump parrots Kremlin talking points1 point

I asked you for factual evidence of Transgender people grooming children to the point they convince or encourage them to want to get gender reassignment surgery, on a widespread scale. You have not provided it.1 point
