Lol. No, they didn't have to prove it was part of "election fraud " Again, it appears you have no idea of the details of this case. Only that you're big orange crush was convicted and it's making you cranky. Honestly, why would you even "debate" a case you didn't understand? You just look like a petulant child. Solve the issue. Go read the case. Read the jury instructions. Hell, even read some real news sources if that's too hard.3 points

Sure. The Libbies in both Canada and the USA, have laid their cards on the table. The "new normal"...take control of the justice system and aim it right at your opposition. Political opposition Is obsolete now. The more apt term is adversary...or even enemy.2 points

The Dems already have the FBI committing crimes for them, and the mainstream media ignores it. Now the courts are openly compromised. The only thing standing between the Dems and a total chokehold on democracy is the supreme court, and they've openly advocated for just stacking it with 4 new demonrat judges. If the Demis can cheat enough to win a strong majority in congress and the senate, there will be 4 new Demonrat judges appointed. The wooden stake was never shoved through the heart of that argument.2 points

Not to mention that despite the lie from the now-banned conservative troll who created this thread, D’Souza is not “highly respected” but rather a convicted felon who pleaded guilty to election fraud. It’s funny how all these right wing lies and fake news stories getting debunked time and again never gives these right wing dupes pause before they fall for the next one. I have a friend who is like this: somehow he’s not a MAGA supporter but he is a populist who is always falling for fake news and hoax claims on facebook from random strangers like the well-known “ farmer giving away free horses due to (x current event in the news)” , even some from satire websites that are clearly meant for humour and say so right in the web page. No matter how often they’re debunked and he admits to being fooled it doesn’t stop him from falling for the next one Its a psychological phenomenon.2 points

Conservative distributor of 2,000 mules cancels movie and book, apologizes for spreading lies: ‘2000 Mules’ Duped Millions of Fools KLAUS MARRE 06/01/24 A right-wing media company has stopped distributing '2000 Mules,' a so-called documentary that spread lies about the 2020 election. The Salem Media Group, a conservative media company, this week made official what every expert already knew: The film, 2,000 Mules, a supposed documentary from right-wing nutj0b Dinesh D’Souza that incorrectly led supporters of Donald Trump to believe that Democrats engaged in “ballot stuffing” in 2020, was a work of fiction. The company announced Friday that it has removed the film from its platforms and will no longer distribute it or the accompanying book. Among other falsehoods, 2,000 Mules included surveillance video that showed a Georgia man, Mark Andrews, placing ballots in a drop box near Atlanta. The accompanying commentary left viewers with no doubt that Andrews had committed a crime. And there were plenty of viewers. Eager for any “evidence” that the election was “stolen” from Trump, MAGA supporters flocked to see the film, which consequently made Salem’s former publishing division Regnery Publishing millions of dollars. It didn’t hurt that the former president called 2,000 Mules the “greatest and most impactful documentary of our time,” and slammed Fox News for not broadcasting it. You know that a piece of right-wing propaganda must be truly outrageous when Rupert Murdoch’s propaganda channel refuses to air it. In this case, Fox News made a wise decision because Andrews sued D’Souza, the Salem Media Group, and two individuals associated with the right-wing group “True the Vote” for defamation. The case is still pending. Perhaps in response to that lawsuit, the company has now announced its decision to pull the film and apologized to Andrews. “In publishing the film and the book, we relied on representations made to us by Dinesh D’Souza and True the Vote, Inc. (“TTV”) that the individuals depicted in the videos provided to us by TTV, including Mr. Andrews, illegally deposited ballots,” the company stated. “We have learned that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has cleared Mr. Andrews of illegal voting activity in connection with the event depicted in 2000 Mules.” Salem Media Group added that “it was never our intent that the publication of the 2000 Mules film and book would harm Mr. Andrews. We apologize for the hurt the inclusion of Mr. Andrews’ image in the movie, book, and promotional materials have caused Mr. Andrews and his family.” https://whowhatwhy.org/elections/2000-mules-duped-millions-of-fools/2 points

Hitler even called his party socialists you stupid loser. It's the oldest con ever. "Hey, we're the good guys. Give me all your money and all the power and I'll do what's right!" Yeah, ok stupid. Run your id10t mouth because you don't have facts, as usual. Are you still trying to pretend that the DOJ/FBI weren't committing crimes? literally everyone on earth with an IQ over 30 knows now. You're the only holdout, sitting there believing in Wushin cowusion, the safe and effective vax, and the integrity of CNN, the Dems and the FBI. Id10t. Oh the floor was a square 😱. Only an id10t like you could be conned into believing that every square you see is also a swastika. Honk honk! 🤣 You're the stooge of stooges buddy. I just have to read your posts to know what the dumbest people on the planet have been sucked in by lately. FYI, here's what fascism looks like stupid: "We need to stack the supreme court and then we have all our bases covered!" (Only it sounded more like "We need to uhhh, do the thing so that the thing doesn't not do, uhh. Uhhh. The thing we wanted it to not do. Pause. Stacking an' stuff.")2 points

They can stay home, spoil their ballot, write in 'none of the above' etc. Or show up at the convention an purge the Trumpoids. Think about it: can you name any other civilized country where a candidate so deep in shit would be supported by their own party? Here? The UK, Australia, New Zealand? Not a f^cking chance! Run a Kim Campbell or John Turner to spare themselves of the shame. Yank them from office just like Theresa May, Thatcher, Boris Johnson.2 points

Like with the covid hoax, this so called climate crisis is just another hoax and another name for covid #2. There is no real climate crisis going on anywhere in Canada. If so, where? It is all just another gigantic $160 billion tax dollars thrown in the wind hoax. The dictator in Ottawa is flying hundreds of private airplane trips all over Canada and the rest of the world every year. Tons of carbon being spewed into the atmosphere. No real worry or concern here about climate crisis. Wit this so called housing crisis that we supposedly have, can you imagine as to how many homes can be built with that $160 billion? There is no real housing shortage in Canada, but there is a massive immigration refugee explosion problem going on in Canada today. The dictator in Ottawa and his immigration minister sidekick is the problem. The imbecile of a minister wants to bring in approx. a million new immigrant/refugees into Canada every year. Now how is that for fighting climate change? It's all a climate crisis joke, folks. Stop eating that climate crisis crap nonsense because all of our dear leaders already knows that it all is just a farce. 😇1 point

Quebec is what is wrong with Canada today. Without that blood sucking hell hole "country" in Canada, western Canadians would be rich as hell today. But thanks to french town, they have pretty much sucked western Canada dry of it's money and resources and wealth. O, how i long for a Canada without french town living in it. Go, quebec,go. Works for me! Bye-bye. 👎1 point

And you didn't follow it at all and know nothing about it. Hence you just repeat the shit Trump spewed in his press tantrums. Makes sense. You've swallowed all of his other lies, so why would I expect more of you now?1 point

Since Trump put Cohen in jail for his part in the same plot, it would be only fair if Trump also served some jail time. Esp after he violated the gag order 10+ times. They ought to tack on at least 10 days for that.1 point

This is not news. It was obvious upon release that this movie was nothing more than fantasy and lies. And it was deliberate and malicious, without concern for the damage to individuals or to the nation I hope the victims take every penny and put all of these parasitic entities out of business. As this happens over and over and over again, I keep hoping that "conservatives" will wise up and rethink the abusive, toxic relationship they've cultivated with "conservative media."1 point

Ok well, the Soviet is gone. But they did exactly the same thing. Stack the court and the media and the law. Trump is now a political prisoner.1 point

Hey stupid, it was hoboy who said that the FEC chair wasn't an expert witness here, not me. Get your head out of your arse for once. So whta? He's still an expert witness, dummy. He wasn't guilty of election fraud, you're right. He's not really guilty of anything because the state of NY didn't have any charges to lay that were within their statute of limitations. This was just another witch hunt. Felonies in NY state have a 5 yr limit, dummy. I just schooled you, id10t. Thanks for proving my point against hoboy, stupid. Thanks for just saying a whole bunch of stupid things again, you make the rest of us look like geniuses. Hey dummy, what's the statute of limitations on felonies in NY state (aside from violent felonies, like murder and rape)? Oh, can't answer, because it will prove that your trial was bogus? G'nite loser. Hit the skids.1 point
-
And the jury did, so the requirement was met. He's NOT the chair. He hasn't been on the FEC since the mid 2000s He wasn't guilty of election fraud nor was conviction required. ONLY his intent was required and the jury was convinced so YOUR OPINION doesn't matter. Of course there are NY State campaign finance violation, too, which also meet the requirement to elevate the records violation to FELONIES. Face it, you don't know the LAW but continue to delude yourself that you do. Thanks for confirming again your complete IGNORANCE. And your failure to post EVIDENCE that proves it.1 point

Well I had Nationalist in mind specifically since he is particularly obsessed with sadistic revenge fantasies Republican are some of the worst cancellers out there: Disney, Bud Light, Blackrock, Liz Cheney, every Republican who spoke against Trump, even DeSantis the Floridian canceller-in-chief got canceled when he tried to run against Trump. And with Republican laws targeting on abortion rights, LGBTQ, private businesses who allegedly have “woke” policies, Republicans are just as bad if not worse when it comes to interfering in other peoples private affairs and ways of life Republicans have been called Deplorable? Aww muffin! Republicans have made it their brand to call everyone else pedophiles, communists and terrorist supporters and then invent a bunch of batshit conspiracies and lies to go along with that name calling. The new populist far right has made premeditated displays of grotesque vulgarity its brand: screaming obscenities and the N word at politicians and public employees, even while holding their small children, chasing politicians and their families down the street when the see them in public, pelting them with gravel, spray painting their offices with words like “c-nt”. Often these extremists even film themselves doing so and then post it on social media to show off their vulgarity. People talk about left wing “virtue signalling” when lefties put on a big show to try and show off how progressive they are. The new right does the same thing except to show off how vulgar and depraved they are. The righties say they like the displays of vulgarity because it shows how genuine and authentic they are, and that they don’t care who they offend and they will never apologize for it because only cowards and wimps apologize. But of course that only applies to them Call them something as innocuous as “deplorable” and the shameless hypocrites complain they’ve been victimized in the most heinous and unspeakable way possible and demand an apology The Republicans’ manufactured victim narrative is no different than that of every other authoritarian movement in history. You can tell their motives are sinister because they claim this alleged victimization entitles them to victimize others in return, which is not what real victims do. Nobody says “I was raped therefore I should be allowed to rape someone else” or “I was robbed therefore I should be allowed to rob someone else”. Real opponents of dictatorship don’t say “just wait until I become dictator and get my revenge,” they say “just wait until we create a democracy and end dictatorship forever” but of course that’s not what Trump and his supporters are saying at all. What’s funny is that few people really doubt that Trump paid Stormy the hush money and then falsified business records to cover it up, they simply don’t care if he did or not and think he should be above the law based on his political stance. Typical authoritarian thuggery.1 point

Smith is literally America's foremost expert on laws prohibiting election fraud, dummy. How could you possibly not know that? Are you Joe Biden? Don't you have more important things to screw up right now than this forum? You go ahead and pay close heed to the Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohens of the world if you want Mr Biden, nothing would surprise me less. You watch CNN and call it "the news" ffs. No, he was treated exactly the same as Biden and Pence upon initial discovery. When the documents were discovered it was expected that they would be returned. End of story. There is nothing to "negotiate." Trump is treated differently after he responds differently--lying about the documents, showing them around, explicitly refusing to return them and trying to hide them from authorities. This has been explained to you. Multiple times. Why are you pretending that you're making an apples -to-apples comparison? Why the charade? It's not just a false equivalency, at this point it's a falsehood.1 point

There are degrees of shady. I'm pretty sure Biden has traded favors for donations and who knows what else during all his time in politics. They all do. I doubt Biden would take money to let Russia have Ukraine or China have Taiwan, though. I don't think Trump would put up much resistance if the cash pile was high enough.. The man would pimp his daughters out for enough money. But what it all boils down to for me is I trust the people around Biden to be competent, even if he is a doddering old man. he's still smart enough to take advice from the experts. Trump clearly is not. Everyone said eight years ago that even though Trump didn't know much he'd have great people around him. And he did, at first. But as soon as they started to disagree with 'his gut' he fired them all. Now the people around him are grifters, kooks, and sleazy yes-men.1 point

That's what Trump said, and his stooges are echoing. A responsible citizen can admit the necessity and validity of the democratic legal system without agreeing to every of its decision. It does not mean that the system is rigged. It means that the verdict stands, and is accepted unless or until it is overturned on appeal. This is not what Trump's mob is hollering, not at all. They insist on their right to dictate which is the correct decision and what is "rigged", nothing less. If they didn't agree with any decision, it has to be "rigged". And that, should it come to pass would mean the end of independent justice as democratic institute, not so? We do not have justice anymore: the mob decides. How could one with working mind and conscience not see it?1 point
-
I'm not claiming the system is 'rigged'. Only that Judges can be incompetent, can make mistakes when directing a trial, or can have conflicts of interest. That's why there's an appeals process. If you really want to know what a totalitarian justice system looks like, read Solzhenitsyn's Gulag Archipelago.1 point

Yep sorry kid everyone did. They're used to you saying dumb things, and then going back and pretending you never said it I'm sure you'll demand i post screen shots and claim you never even said it shortly. Like i said - you're predictable1 point
-
well that's the thing. This judge has gone through incredible contortions to even allow this case in the first place, basically he's violated a number of legal principles to try and bring trump to trial, he ran for election based on going after trump, he gave instruction to the jury that is absolutely shocking, and he's disallowed everything that the defense asked for. After going that far is it really plausible to believe that he's not going to go all the way? The whole point of this was to take trump out for the election, the timing of every step of it has been coordinated based on that. I suppose it's possible he could order house arrest instead of jail time. They might try to argue it was a compromise position so that he could still at least attend his rallies by Zoomclaim it's proof that they didn't try and wipe them out entirely. But it's hard for me to believe that this guy isn't going to do something more than just a suspended sentence after going so far already. We'll see what the public backlash is, that may color things strongly1 point

If you say something that's demonstrably true, which I did, that's not prejudiced. The truth just remains true. Their cultural norms are quite different from ours. If there's a culture that values individual freedoms and religious freedoms then Canadians will generally fit right in. Canadians aren't embarrassed to fit in there. If there's a culture where individual freedoms are trampled down and islamic religious bigotry is normal then Pakistanis and Afghan will generally fit right in. Pakistanis and Afghans aren't embarrassed to fit in there. The things that you parade around in Canada saying, which give you "moral standing" here, are anathema to Pakistanis and Afghans. They are repulsed by your tolerance of gays and Jews.1 point

I think he is proven that he is quite adept at selling his message especially to youth . He certainly doesn't act like it's a cakewalk, he puts in a ton of energy every day into selling his message. I don't think it's terribly hard to convince kids who are looking at the cost of moving away from home and feeding themselves and realizing that they are going to be in their mommy's basement till they're 50 on the idea that we need change1 point
-
It didn't used to be when conservatives were in charge. Kids sat up straight and paid attention or got detention, and then yelled at by their parents. Now they curse out the teacher and getin fights in classrooms, and there isn't a thing the teacher can do about it. They're not even allowed to touch them, even to break up a fight. And you better believe the students know it, too. Almost everyone who wants police removed from schools has no kids in those schools. Or else they do, but it's THEIR kids who terrorize the rest of the students and tell the teachers to F off. And when the school calls they tell the school to F off too, and call them racists to boot. Glen Loury went to school in South Chicago back in the sixties and talks about how good they were then. And now they're shit. Thomas Sowell says the same thing about the public schools he attended in Harlem in the 50s, and how terrible they are today. Both school boards spend a ton of money and get miserable results. Why? Because they're controlled by the Left, and operate under rules established by the Left.1 point
