Dude when EVERYONE is pointing out thats' what you're doing it's time to take a step back and look at it. You ARE supporting and excusing rapists and murderers of jews. If that makes you uncomfortable then you need to review. Simply falsly claiming they were iranians does not change anything.3 points

Even though there are clearly religious differences, I don't recall a single conversation there being about religion as causal. Maybe just me, but I never saw it and it was never the grievance I heard. This is a struggle over land by two separate ethnic groups, each with long standing and divergent claims to the area. I'll offer another observation too FWIW. Most of the Palestinian players there that I talked to know what happened to them, their father and their grandfather. That's important because discussions about the Balfour Declaration usually don't resonate with them. They can see the farm on the hill where they grew up, they can point it out, tell you how and when it was lost, they have the keys to the front door in their pocket.... but somebody else lives there now. Hamas doesn't represent those folks, they don't even think about them, they will never negotiate peace or those legitimate grievances in good faith... and when I say never, I mean NEVER. Want to pursue peace? Address legitimate concerns? Achieve equitable outcomes? Get rid of Hamas and find Israel a peace partner they can work with.... or don't. That simple I think. As Yoda would say, "do or do not."2 points

I would rather thank Trudeau for his service to conservatism since no single person in Canadian history has done more to discredit the socialist left and associated big government Canadians are truly learning to fear, loathe, distrust and despise their government now thanks, Justin2 points

When I say everything, I mean everything. He has the FBI targeting Trump supporters: Exclusive: Donald Trump Followers Targeted by FBI as 2024 Election Nears He got the Secret Service to botch the cocaine in the WH investigation. They have video surveillance, a visitor log and sophisticated finger print analysis, yet they can't figure out who left the bag of cocaine? Secret Service ends White House cocaine investigation with no leads The FDIC has become a toxic hell hole of sexual misconduct thanks to his appointee: The Toxic Atmosphere at the FDIC. A WSJ Investigation. His DOJ is not even responding to subpeonas even after jailing Trump allies for not responding to subpeonas under presidential privilege: Republicans sue two DOJ officials for ignoring subpoenas in Hunter Biden investigation His SEC got lambasted for abuse of power in their attack on crypto. Gee, seems to be a pattern with him: Judge slams SEC for ‘gross abuse of power’ in crypto case, imposes sanctions The pattern continues with the FTC: FTC chair Khan accused of 'abuse of power' in new US House probe His DHS created an advisory group that blatantly violated federal law. They shut it down when they got called out: Biden's controversial DHS 'experts' panel shuttered after being slapped with lawsuit Everything he touches, fails. His a joke.2 points

As much as I rejoice that every generation has begun to see Turdo for the hypocritical, entitled mental midget he is. I would be much happier if people acknowledged that he is simply a figure head. Its the entire liberal socialist mindset that has to be run out of office.2 points

Ivison's column today contains references to Trudeau's performance as PM by those who know it best - his cabinet. And just like those who once worked for Trump, few of them have much flattering to say. But this paragraph particularly caught my attention: Trudeau has no apparent interest in the banalities of government, including the management of his cabinet or caucus. Ministers — senior ministers — report that they rarely talk about their portfolios with their boss. In the 2018 book, Un selfie avec Justin Trudeau, Jocelyn Coulon, a former adviser to Stéphane Dion, said the relationship between prime minister and his then foreign affairs minister was “glacial” and the only private meeting the two men had was when Dion was fired. “The prime minister is a man incurious about the affairs of the world,” Coulon remarked. The word 'incurious' has often been used to describe Trump. So has his lack of interest in the 'banalities of government'. Both men are, of course, narcissists. Both lie quite frequently and both hold grudges. Both are are divisive and more interested in scoring political points than governing effectively, as ex-Finance Minister Morneau says. Both were born with silver spoons in their mouths, went to private schools, and seek the attention and approval of the wealthy while claiming to be a 'man of the people'. Trump pretends to be religious while Trudeau affects a desperate wokeness. I equate his taking the limo to a BLM demonstration (in the midst of a covid lockdown) to take a knee to Trump hugging the flag on stage. They were both performative and cringe-inducing. Another paragraph that so aptly describes this government is this one: The sage of Baltimore, Henry Louis Mencken, once satirized a government that sounds remarkably like Trudeau’s as a “a broker in pillage”: a collection of individuals whose only talent was getting and holding office and whose principal device was “to search out groups who pant and pine for something they can’t get and promise to give it to them. Nine times out of 10, that promise is worth nothing. The 10th time it is made good by looting A to satisfy B.”1 point

The pot and kettle exploded. Obviously he would give them several billion dollars, as many guns and rockets as they could carry, maybe a few tanks, their own state without having to acknowledge Israel's right to exist, a couple of dozen captured Israeli women for fun and a stern letter saying that he hopes they've learned their lesson and will be better in the future. And if that doesn't work, immediate cessation of chocolate rations.1 point

Arab Israelis have the same rights as Jewish Israelis. Oh, and Gaza was occupied by Egypt, and the West Bank was annexed by Jordan until 1967. Really? Why didn't they just ask the nearby Arab countries that stole the land and possessions of a million Jews and booted them out of their countries? Wouldn't that be a good example? If they wanted to steal all the land, that is. Oh, and Canadian natives have the same rights (and more) as any Canadian citizen today.1 point

Hey man quick question, what's the thread title here. Yes I'm aware Israel never cared about the hostages (which is why the IDF killed so many Israelis on Oct. 7) and is prosecuting this war because it's the only thing keeping that crooked s.o.b. Bibi in power.1 point

This probably ends up with no more Gaza, and then the ensuing "Hamas" attacks on Israel come from places like Iran, which don't want to be bombed. Trump already showed us all that terrorism goes down drastically when it's the leaders who end up getting all the 'glory of martyrdom' and the 72 virgins, and not just a bunch of 17 yr olds who got sucked in.1 point

Democracy has pretty much died in Canada. If this Marxist WEF globalist dictator in Ottawa is not voted out of office in the next election, all i can say is that, we ain't seen nuttin yet. pardner. It will be time to head for America, the land of the free, and the home of the brave. Even with the dictator in Washington, for now, America is still a lot freer than what we are in Marxist Canada. America has a 1st Amendment, where Canada does not, even though the Charter of Rights says we do. And with this new Online Harms Act Bill that the dictator in Ottawa wants to try and make become law, websites like this one could be gone. Matter of fact, I am pretty sure that this website and many others like this one, will be gone. The only websites that will be still around are the ones that are willing to kiss the dictator's arse. This country is getting worse by the day. It's not a joke anymore. It's getting really very serious now. Just my opinion of course, while i am still allowed to have one for now. 😒1 point

This is a bogus attempt to draw some moral equivalency here as if what Hamas did on October 7th was just some tit-for-tat. Israel targets military targets and tries to kill Hamas militants. Hamas invaded and raped women, tortured, and killed women and children, deliberately targeting innocent people to be slaughtered, and taking hostages as well. This is not some tit-for-tat strike. Hamas engages in a deliberate campaign of terror with the stated goal to kill Israelis and want to kill all the Jews.1 point

I don't think you were listening to him. Of course he was telling them, why else would he say it. Do you think women should be able to define you or other men. What gives you the right to tell women what they should be?1 point

IT's the same for a lot of people. My family on one side fled the ukraine shortly after the revolution - the russians killed most of the family (one uncle came home to find all his family's heads on the kitchen table), they were treated very badly and they fled with nothing but the clothes they were wearing. Got to canada and while they were sad (my great aunt cried a lot) they made a life for themselves and raised their kids and none of us feel particularly interested in hating russia or going back and demanding our lands. Sometimes you have to realize the world has changed and make a life for yourself.1 point

Immoral scumbag? Liar? Biden is an immoral scumbag and liar too. The choice comes down to who supports the policies and positions I am most aligned with. Trying to play on the fact that someone is a Christian as if they should not support Trump because of that, was your comment here. So... do you want Christians voting their faith and religion into government to be imposed on you or not? So why are you here making the comments you are about being Christian?1 point

All very true. I would agree that the NDP is the big disappointment, everyone expects a liberal to be corrupt and pass bad policy. That's what they always do. But the NDP has always been a little bit above that heck, they don't even want to win elections they historically prefer to be respected and to be the voice of conscience for parliament. Now they're just liberal lap dogs and Justin's house boys making cheesy statements about how they'll fight anyone anywhere anytime or anything while wearing their Rolexes and waiting for their gold star permanent pensions to kick in. The moral compass of parliament broke. Now it's worth nothing1 point

ROFLMAO - it is precisely what we were discussing It's the very thing you claimed you didnt' say and i claimed you did Oh - and you didn't actually ask me to prove anything. You just out of the blue started claiming that i wasn't. And once again, when you're proved wrong you have to try to go back and change what you said. Pay attention little guy - this is simple. You posted older cites and claimed it was newer. Then i pointed out that mine were actually later because apparently you can't read dates. And thats when you tried to claim that statcan's work is NOT "real" research because you think they don't know how to do a survey of a target group to account for potential bias. You're an !diot. But at least you're a fairly amusing 1diot As was proven previously - remote working is as productive or more generally speaking and we should be promoting it. We've gone from 7 percent to 20 percent and we should try to increase that if possible. And once again you a) look like an 1diot and b) look like a liar trying to cover up the fact you look like an 1diot Please proceed with your hysterics tho a few pages of you trying to deny what you said and claiming that black is white before you degrade into blaming my post count and the size of my posts is always worth the popcorn1 point

No, the shortage needs to be eliminated, first. Unfortunately, no level of government is willing to do so. There are a variety of means you could do to increase the number of doctors and nurses. 1 Create a Canada-wide registration system for foreign doctors and nurses, including temporary ones. Anyone who works in a Western country with a comparable level of healthcare sophistication can register there and work anywhere in Canada without going through the nonsense of years-long testing and evaluation from Canadian provincial medical associations. 2 Make healthcare technicians, doctors and nurses a special category for foreign workers. People from western countries working in those jobs now can be brought over to work for a month, six months, a year, or however long they want by any healthcare institution in Canada with an absolute minimum of red tape. 3 Offer free tuition for doctors willing to work as family doctors. Due to our shortage of medical/nursing school spaces, subsidize Canadian students to study in another Western country as long as their marks are high enough on condition they return to work here or pay it back with interest. 4 increase the number of medical/nursing school seats by bringing in foreign teachers and paying for more residency positions in hospitals. Temporarily cancel all foreign training positions in Canada, ie, the one with the Saudis.1 point

The requirement that the leader be bilingual works very heavily against them. Most bilingual people are in the cities or in Quebec/NB/NCR, where the Liberals have strong representation. Even the NDP has better representation in urban areas than the Tories. This leaves them choosing from a very, very tiny number of people come time to choose a leader. Personally, I think they should choose a leader regardless of his language abilities. Quebec just isn't that important to them anyway. They rarely get more than a handful of seats there. They should pick a good leader for English Canada, and then a strong French deputy for Quebec. She never ran for leader.1 point

Joking aside this is going to be a big problem. Joe won the last election largely by hiding in his basement and blaming covid and letting trump rant about himself. But he will HAVE to run on his record this time and will have to appear in public more. Otherwise this time trump will put all the focus on the negative elements of the biden admin and probably run away with it. But biden looks terrible. The more he's in the public eye the worse he looks and it's become a national sport to make fun of his gaffes. "FOUR MORE YEARS.. PAUUUUUSSSSEEEE" We'll see1 point

Does higher education mean a person is higher skilled...I know a lot of very educated people , that can barely do day to day activates without out help...I also know lots of guys that had high school education that planed logistics for a 5000 person brigade group, 7 days in advance from beans to bullets to fuel, trains and planes etc....that takes a higher skill to get it right... Education is not always the end all be all...nor does it mean you are highly skilled, becasue of it.1 point

No I wasn't there myself were you? What I want now for Israel and Palestine is the same thing we have here in Canada, a truth and reconciliation process followed by treaty negotiations. There is still a role Canada could play on the region despite our initial dark history that helped produce the dysfunctional state it's in. I'd suggest our First Nations help lead the T&R process.1 point

So a white person with a penis, who self-identifies as non-binary, could still meet the criteria, as could a white female, or a white transgender man, correct? There's certainly a lot to dissect in a job posting like this, and (IMO) much to criticize, but what can we conclude from it? Does this show that Canada is a "disgusting racist country", or have the various (mostly) well-meaning institutions got their priorities so absurdly mixed-up that they're becoming dysfunctional. It looks to me like the University of New Brunswick is trying so hard to be progressive that they've bent their spines past breaking and made a mockery of themselves and what they're trying to achieve. That's a very different discussion than "racist against white men", isn't it? 😑1 point
