Which caused a huge backlog on treatments and surgeries. That kept staff working under pressure trying to catch up. Now it's hit with a surge of kids whose parents were those stupid and obstinate ones pretending to give a shit about their kids health, the rest getting nailed with 3 years of normal flu variants at once from observing the only precautions that could be taken at the time, on top of three years of delayed retirements of medical staff. And now we deal with the dupes, when federal spending on health care has never been higher cherry pick statistics to claim it has 'slipped to only'... , want it fixed tomorrow, won't commit to ensuring new funds are actually spent on health care, ignore announced federal promises of increases and want to Fed bash thinking action comes from more meetings. Maybe you can design the PowerPoints and cater sandwiches at those meetings to pay for private health care instead.

A lot can happen in the word "IF", I think there are to many disenchanted centrists liberals out there right now, that are not voting Liberal or NDP. That was my point. Canada has talked a lot and failed even more with climate change action. Never met objectives, failed at all promises and are worse than before this all began. Having said that, we are a still only a drop in the proverbial bucket of climate change causes.

You'd probably not be surprised to know Gerald Butts was one of the architects of his catastrophe, but aside from phasing out coal (a good thing), he and his pals made the word "green energy" a bogeyman in Ontario for years to come. I couldn't disagree more. 1. For starters you can have an Earth without Canada but not the other way around. 2. Canada's contribution to climate change is huge. A modern country as wealthy as Canada should not be setting the example for how to dither, equivocate and make excuses for inaction. 3. The Earth needs a leader like never before. Trudeau is not it.
