  1. So the PM should go to conferences in Paris on the bus? Or went to PEI and N&L by rowboat to inspect the damage? Or would you rather see him sit in his office mandating what you can have for breakfast and how you tie your shoes like you seem to think he does? Getting real tired of defending a PM I'd never vote for from petty idiots.

REUTERS/Chery Dieu-Nalio/File Photo Oct 3 (Reuters) - Former U.S. president Donald Trump sued CNN for defamation on Monday, seeking $475 million in punitive damages and claiming the network had carried out a "campaign of libel and slander" against him. Trump claims in his lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, that CNN had used its considerable influence as a leading news organization to defeat him politically. 6. Myata has no idea about how forestry things work. I ran the Internet Cafe in town for over 20 years and from late April to July there were lineups of tree planters, 90% of the place's yearly revenue. I even had posters of Mr Peanut around town with "Planters Welcome" and directions. There's even signs posted telling you when cuts were replanted, the ones along the highway marked 1992 were recently cut back further from the road to protect the fibre lines and create firebreaks so we don't get more forest fires the size of Belgium...

  7. There is a lot of fiction in that one. A small number of trees are used to make pellets for pellet stoves, which is a fairly clean fuel. It burns nicely. I had a pellet stove for a number of years up north and loved it. Just had to clean the stove every week. Of course the number of pellet stoves is relatively small in the province. Most people use natural gas, oil, or electricity to heat their home. I'm sure they are not cutting excessive numbers of trees down in BC. There is already a certain percentage of the old growth forests that are preserved where no logging is permitted. Most logging is for lumber. The world needs homes and that is the main industry in BC. Most of Canada is built with lumber. It is a sustainable industry and is not in danger of running out as you and environmental radicals claim. It is well-managed by the Ministry of Forests in BC.

  8. BFD Big fricking deal. Chinese virus. Fauci helped create Covid. Fauci flip flopped on his advice to the WH & the public to allow the existing anti Trump movement to use Covid to bash Trump with. But the Biden record of Covid deaths far outnumbers those who died during the Trump administration. Trump took actions to address Covid responsibly which the Left attacked simply to destroy Trump. The investments in our infrastructure made by Trump reflect a LANDLORD'S concern in maintaining a well run country or building. Dems would have used that money to make America weaker.

  10. First off, Trump was not mean in order to implement policy. He was mean because his base of degenerates liked to cheer when he "stuck it to the libbies." We're supposed to be the UNITED States. He is supposed to be President of the UNITED States. That's why Biden is sending aid to Florida. But Trump was against aid to Puerto Rico and California after they suffered major disasters. Trump was the ultimate conniving politician, and never saw his role as helping the nation. Red states get disaster aid and Blue states don't. That isn't proper governance. Trump didn't reform corruption, he WAS corruption. He LIED to the American people and refused to release his tax returns despite his promises to do so. He fought against it all the way to the Supreme Court... and LOST. He failed to disengage himself from his business interests while President, which was a brazen and corrupt conflict of interest. His Washington DC hotel was considered the de facto destination for diplomats, lobbyists and anyone else seeking (buying) influence inside the Trump Administration. He paid pornstars hush money. He allowed the National Enquirer to pay pornstars hush money. He paid $25 million to settle fraud (fraud means THEFT) over his Trump "University" sham. I could go on and on. You cannot say the man is not corrupt. And what "corruption" did he stop? Hillary using private email? His whole damn administration used private email. He used the Justice Department as his own personal legal team. He pardoned his personal friends. Can you name a President who pardoned a personal friend? Republicans went apeshit when Clinton pardoned Mark Rich, and that was after Israel lobbied ceaselessly to have him pardoned.

  19. It won't be hard to string together a laundry list of times that CNN lied about him in an attempt to destroy his character. Even if CNN was right 20% of the time, which is unlikely, they're still screwed. I'm not sure what CNN can actually say or do in their own defence, it seems pretty cut and dried.

  20. TBH, I'm not sure why anyone who claims to be equitable and fair would even regurgitate all of the slavery myths that we're presented with on a daily basis. I was reading up on the Haidas as slavers the other day and came across this beauty: https://www.inkshares.com/books/the-haida-gwaii-lesson-2/backer_updates/30c84a1f LMFAO. Just one example, the Moors had millions of slaves, and many of them were white. Did the Egyptians only enslave people darker than a brown paper bag? I think not. The list goes on. The word slave actually comes from the Greek word "slav", and the definition of Slavs hasn't changed in all these years. Sure, Greeks are European, but I can't emphasize strongly enough that slavery is the most lied about topic in the history of the world, and as usual. leftists are the culprits. This isn't a little lie, it's a massive lie, and it will eventually lead to actual violence if the lies, rhetoric and stupidity aren't toned down.

The kid don't care, he is all about CC and where it will take him after he's gone, like the UN. Canada is way to small of stage for him now. And yes you are a Trudeau fan,if you can't realize how stupid he is.

  25. The truth is slowly becoming obvious. Trump was a MAGNIFICENT POTUS. In years to come, how will you explain how you got him wrong? Were the enemies of America that smart that they hid themselves from your view and you couldn't spot them or recognize what was being done to him? Or were you just not bright enough to sense you were being used by America's enemies? Or was it a matter of lack of good values, i.e. that you were raised so poorly that you would root for the BAD guy and attack the GOOD GUY? Not a troll question. I really can't understand how you could hate and bash Trump. If you are an America-hating foreigner, you can get lost.

You may be gullible enough or dishonest enough to disregard or be blind to the corruption that has taken control of America, but Conservative Americans are quite cognizant of the Dem's similarity to the proverbial, "boiled frog" syndrome. You are allowing yourselves (as well as the rest of us) to be slowly boiled alive. You cant see that ALLLLL of the major nagging problems plaguing America are due to the Leftists which you empowered to lead you to gain total control over America. The people or entities you naively expect would bring to light any telltale signs of 2020 election fraud ARE THE SAME ONES WHO QUEERED THE SYSTEM IN THE FIRST PLACE!

  32. Point number 2. The Western media is, by and large, reporting nothing but propaganda on Ukraine. They have very little presence in Ukraine and are just taking and reporting what the state controlled Ukrainian media is giving them without verifying. Which is pretty much the same thing the MSM did with COVID reporting and the WHO.

  38. NATO’s handlers want to take down Russia, the way Iraq and Libya were taken down. They’ve been at it for 20 years or so. But this one is much tougher because a) Russia has a much better military, and b) Putin has been able to outsmart them thus far, prior to Ukraine. c) Russia has some of the best military technology in the world, including new hypersonic nukes.

  39. Does it have permission for agents to run around armed and shoot people like on TV? Surely not. The whole point is we don't even know what they exactly mean by police stations. They can't "arrest" people in Canada and if they harass Cdns they should be declared persona non grata and expelled. That seems to be the accusation, but with no evidence given.

  40. You're such a pathetic iar. Clinesmith pleaded guilty ffs. McCabe was fired for "lying to the FBI", Trump associates got jail time for that, and in Flynn's case he wasn't even lying, he was just inaccurate in an immaterial way. The fact that he got a light sentence for an extremely serious crime is not a ringing endorsement of your DOJ. The judge said: IE, not just one or two mistakes, actual lies, and credibility shot. And that's just comments about this one case. There are other instances of high-profile FBI malfeasnace. They're KGB west, you just like their crimes so you think they're ok. "federal Judge Rosemary Collyer wrote in an order from the court published Tuesday." You really need to grow up. I feel like I'm talking to a bratty 12 yr old.

  44. I never expressed opinions. You called them opinions but they're actually truths that you don't like. Clinesmith actually did commit a serious crime. So did McCabe. They're serious crimes because people go to jail for them. They're serious crimes because the FISA court judge said words to the effect that 'the FBI's malfeasance in the collusion trial was so serious that it cast a shroud of doubt over everything they ever did'. IE, in the opinion of an actual judge in the United States, the FBI lacks credibility just due to the collusion witch hunt alone. She didn't even comment on the laptop lie, the Whitmer kidnapping entrapment, military style raids at Roger Stone's home and Mark Houck's home, the new Jan 6th witch hunt scandal, etc.
    1 point
  45. They changed the content of an email about Carter Page in order to get FISA warrants to spy on Trump's associates. Committing crimes is always a big deal for a police force. The FBI is America's KGB. There are too many examples of their crimes and political involvement for them to be considered a legitimate police force.

  46. This topic is, I think, an indication of the degree of resentment I see growing among many people, primarily white males, towards the continuous bleating of the activist world, major media and government of all types regarding diversity and inclusion and equity. I feel this resentment myself, to some degree, though insulated by not having any real economic worries. There is only so long you can shout at someone for their imagined deficiencies before they start getting mad. I see Black people all over the Canadian media these days. Virtually every commercial has at least one black person in it. Every newscast has black people as reporters, newsreaders, etc, and there seems to be a wildly disproportionate number of stories about or interviewing of black people, despite their being a bit over 3% of the population. All of this is a result of the collective sense of self-loathing and guilt so many progressives seem to feel because they've been told they have to by their American mentors. Canadian progressives take their cue from down south. If American progressives are 'taking a knee' for black lives matter then Canadian progressives are damned well going to do the same, even in a lockdown. Witness that sanctimonious puffball Trudeau doing so last year. And of course, the flurry of diversity, equity and inclusiveness hectoring, lecturing and badgering down south has been echoed by the same thing up here. Because stuff. Question it and you're just showing your 'white fragility'. But Canada does not have America's long and bitter history of slavery and racism, nor its inner city slums. Granted, this is as much due to geography as policy, but even so, we had a miniscule number prior to confederacy and none whatsoever afterward. Canada's entire population of Black people numbered a few tens of thousands as late as the 1970s. The great majority of those here today are immigrants. It's awfully difficult to justify the hand-wringing and lecturing White Canadians have been and continue to be subjected to largely on their behalf. Canada is so racist, after all, that we let in millions and millions of black and brown people with nary a word of protest. And therein lies the basic source of resentment. Being called an innately racist society and being constantly lectured on our racist past on behalf of... immigrants is absurd and cannot fail to breed resentment, not only towards the groups hectoring them but towards minorities as well. It's difficult to logically justify hiring or promoting a black or brown immigrant over a white Canadian due to the former's 'trauma' over some imagined past as a victim of racism when neither they nor their ancestors were here to experience it. And it's difficult, if not impossible to justify continually nagging white Canadians about our racism when our lack of racism is amply demonstrated by the millions of non white people we have allowed into our country. And as the economy deteriorates that resentment is going to grow, especially with the likes of Trudeau and SIngh fanning the flames at every opportunity.

  47. That is not what i said, any murder is not OK, but your solution is not worth the effort, nothing will change until the people of Iran want it to. Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya any of them ring a bell. If you think that Iran is the only nation that life has no real value, then your naive. You pick one of the worst offenders and expect us to do what exactly, write our MP's, so they can do what write the heads of state in Iran, when the whole idea is a waste of time and effort, that will not produce any results. Thousands upon thousands have died in Afghanistan, and Canadians did not give a second thought, have you read the comments on some of the articles written by our media, let's just say they are not very flattering, they don't care, what happens thousands of miles away, shit they don't care about the Canadian vets that went over there. And they will wait a long time before Canadians here stand up and do something about it. Change in Iran will come when Iranians want it to come not before, Ukraine is doing it, standing up to one of the superpowers of the planet, they did not wait they took action... It was that action that caught everyone's eyes. Those in Iran that want change have already left the country.
