  1. I wish the governments would focus most of their attention towards nuclear energy and discard wind and solar subsidies.

  2. Numbers like 70% come from various companies that Trudeau paid-off...literally. Nobody knows how much support the truckers had or still have. We do know that their example set-off dozens of similar protests & convoys across the entire globe. That speaks for itself.

  3. Ladies and gentlemen... THIS is a PERFECT example of something I've been harping on. This person will blindly wonder right off a cliff, if the powers that be tell her to do so. Of course...she'll be at the back of the line and while others take the "leap of science", what was forcefully denied and silenced...will boil to the top and become evident. At that point...this person and all those like her in that line of doom, will be heard saying as they leave the line-up... "But how was I to know?" And we'll all look down the cliff at the hill of the dead below and...there will be many who experience an urge...to toss these lemmings to join their creed.

  4. I read this today. Somewhat disturbing: https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/grade-1-teacher-who-said-boys-and-girls-no-different-in-gender-fluidity-lesson-cleared-by-rights-tribunal This is why I prefer teachers stick to facts or teaching theories as theory instead of teaching theory as facts.

  5. The trees around you are burning, the neighbour's house is getting washed away, your money buys less and less, your kids will never afford a home, wages are stagnant and there's shortages of labour everywhere, But the same blockheads steer every discussion on anything into hot air about gender pronouns, who's behind the bathroom door, McCarthy era red-bashing, etc. as if those are the important issues, while utterly denying everything happening around them. There is no surplus they're lying, it's a quarterly surplus so it's not real, etc. We should be discussing what they should DO with the surplus and my two cents says nothing. No pay down anything at this time, no spending it just because there is one.

  7. The point is that conservatives by and large do not engage in mob violence anywhere near the level of leftists like BLM/Antifa. I get the impression that you're proud of the level of violence and destruction that your side has been engaging in for all these years. And again, your side has little to fear from law enforcement reacting appropriately to all this left-wing violence because their Democratic bosses tell them to just let the mobs do what they want. What is Biden doing to unite the country?

  8. No one died in the riot at the WH, but there was a church burned [partially] next door by BLM rioters: https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/dc-braces-for-third-day-of-protests-and-clashes-over-death-of-george-floyd/2020/05/31/589471a4-a33b-11ea-b473-04905b1af82b_story.html There's a paywall, I'm pretty sure that's the right one. What do you mean I can't prove that they don't care? I can do one better than that: I can proved that they all had big riot boners. Try to watch this video without killing yourself: So you're right, I'm not saying that the Dems didn't care about the riots, I'm saying that they loved the riots. LOVED. That stupid bitch was actually gushing about them, and she was hoping that they'd go on until after Christmas. Unfortunately for her, the full bodycam video was leaked and the protests fizzled. Here's Micelle Obama complaining about all the barriers that prevented her and her husband from having success.... hmmmm. She tells kids to be angry and stay angry. Right at the very height of the riots. https://www.rev.com/blog/transcripts/michelle-obama-commencement-speech-transcript-2020

  16. You Are Wrong. Pursuant to the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, the President does not have the authority to declassify any Classified nuclear-related information. Only the NRC, with the agreement of the DOD, can declassify. If they disagree on whether to declassify, only then can the President decide whether or not to declassify. Also, Trump signed an affidavit stating that no more classified documents remained at MAL. We now know this is untrue, so he’s committed perjury and obstruction of Justice. Page 90:

  17. I don’t care what other countries do unless there’s helpful policy ideas. I like the sub national jurisdiction of Florida’s direction. They’re pushing back against wokism in important ways. I also liked their approach to the pandemic, remaining open, opposing mandates and restrictions, and providing anti-virals. ?

  19. Biden's saying that MAGA REPUBLICANS ARE THE WORST THINGS IN THE UNIVERSE! It's like he missed the BLM riots somehow. The murders, the assaults, the injured cops, the looted and burned buildings, the destroyed communities... Can you show me where Biden spoke out against the destruction? Where he called out the rioters in no uncertain terms? I can actually show you where hi did it, because his fact checkers dug it all up in his defence: https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-biden-condemn-violence-idUSKBN25V2O1 He said things like: A blog post. Oooh, that's some serious condemnation. Or this: At the 8:24 mark he mentioned. That's strong. So basically he did almost nothing. A couple blog posts and short comments about it over the course of 3 months. It's not even one for every dead person. Biden is a maggot.

  20. So if global annual temperatures rise about 1.5 percent in 100 years, not resulting in barbecued babies, but to prevent this rise we throw billions of people into poverty or lower class lifestyles to shut down all fossil fuel power sources and build these nuclear power plants, is that intelligent policy? What if doing all of that made no substantial difference to global temperature changes? You’re reorganizing and oppressing whole populations to head off a potential problem that may not exist or may not be something we can change in a meaningful way. Affordable climate action may be fine, but climate change is only one of our challenges and we still don’t really know what would happen if we carried on without a climate policy. We do know that expensive climate action will hurt billions of people.

  23. I hope he supports the truckers. I consider them heroes. So did you when they risked their lives delivering your goods early in the pandemic. I don’t care if 70% of the country disagrees. It just confirms that Canadian democracy is on the ropes. It certainly doesn’t mean we should make the Conservatives the Liberals 2.0.

  28. I agree. When both the feminine and masculine strengths are appreciated and valued in a relationship - it leads to happiness for each and for any children that come of the relationship. I find - in general - that men lack appreciation and do not value the strengths (or work that they do) of women. I believe this is tied in with the idea of "entitlement". Many feel "entitled" to women's free labor on their behalf and when you feel entitled to something, it's generally not appreciated or valued. I feel that one of the most important things in a society is that children are well raised, well educated, loved and treated well. The other important thing in society is the care of elderly ones. These important jobs have mostly fallen to women - and I do agree that part of that is biology. Men can't be the ones getting up several times in the night to breastfeed babies, obviously. Women tend to be more "care-giving" naturally. But the professions of child care, child education, and care for the elderly are some of the lowest paying professions. Because they are not valued like they should be in a successful society. Women, in general, will make an effort to verbally solve differences. This can be viewed as a "weakness" for those whose first instinct in a conflict is to "come out swinging" or attack - verbally or physically.

  30. Equating Pierre as the trucker politician is disingenuous. Many Canadians heard those vampires speak over at the WEF and did not like what plans they had in store for the 'useless eaters' of planet Earth. Trudeau supports the WEF 100%...hacking humans...reducing the population to a billion...monkey pox...you name it. Pierre does not. It's our choice now. Vote for decency and humanity or vote for globalist elites and their fascist agenda.

  31. Of course not. Collective morality has meant group rules, reflexivity and so on - ie. civilization. You can find the scrolls from ancient Sumaria where they prohibit murder and so on. Collective morality allowed us to gather in tribes, then in cities, then nations. Just because I have an urge to punch somebody with a MAGA hat doesn't make it ok ....

  32. I was responding to DoP's post about Trump's victory in 2016, which was his response to my question as to which Developed and/or Western Democracy has a populace that would support such populists politicians like PP in significant enough numbers to form a government. The US has a vibrant Conservative populace, but they still have only won three national elections this century and lost the popular vote in two of them. The GOP win elections because of the Electoral College, not because their politics are overwhelmingly popular.

  34. This is indicative of a population that has been highly manipulated by state-run media and government fear-mongering. It’s sad because I don’t think many Canadians understand how they’re shooting themselves in the feet by supporting an unaccountable quasi-totalitarian regime that undermines their rights. The country may be past the point of no return. Biden is playing the same game in the US, trying to criminalize any opposition. There’s no outside to the Liberal Party one party system, it seems.

  35. Please explain. Carbon dioxide and methane inhibit re-radiation of energy. This is predictable, measureable and repeatable. You can demonstrate it in any undergraduate lab. That is physics. Do you have some new evidence that gives a different result? If so, I will nominate you for a Nobel prize in physics because you will have proven that the entire scientific world is wrong and you are right. The contest between politics and science was first tested by King Canute. He went to the shoreline and ordered the tide not to come in. That is politics. The tide came in anyway. That is science.

  45. Former GOP congressman arrested on insider trading charges Steve Buyer served as an Indiana representative from 1993-2011. ormer GOP Rep. Steve Buyer was arrested Monday on insider trading charges. According to the complaint, Buyer, who has done consulting work since leaving Congress in 2011, "misappropriated material non-public information that he learned as a consultant and used [it] ... to place timely, profitable securities trades in brokerage accounts in his own name and the names of others." In March 2018, Buyer attended a golf outing with an executive of T-Mobile, one of his consulting clients, from whom he learned about the company's then-nonpublic plan to acquire Sprint, the complaint said. Buyer began purchasing Sprint securities the next day, and, after news of the merger leaked in April 2018, Buyer saw an immediate profit of more than $107,000, according to the complaint. https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/gop-congressman-arrested-insider-trading-charges/story?id=87370494 Gee, when the Republican is just a garden-variety crook doing a little insider trading as opposed to being a rapist or trying to commit election fraud and end democracy it’s so anti-climactic isn’t it? Down in Missouri Republicans are getting convicted for COVID scams Missouri Republican lawmaker resigns after $900K COVID medical clinic fraud scheme conviction A Missouri Republican state representative has resigned days after being convicted of 22 federal charges, the majority of those offenses being linked to a $900,000 COVID-19 fraud scheme operated through medical clinics and a non-profit at the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. State Rep. Tricia Derges stepped down Friday from her seat representing Christian County (District 140) in the Missouri House of Representatives, KOLR reported.
