  1. It has nothing to do with a minority of people. Covid isn’t going away, even if 100% are vaccinated. It’s going to be just like the flu. It’s time you people get used to it.

  2. But we should all cater to you and your neuroses? If you're so terrified of covid, which has a 99.5% survival rate, that you want people locked up, lose their jobs and not be able to buy food, maybe it's you who should be banned from society?

  3. It's not a dichotomy of vaccinated vs. not vaccinated , as there surely are many people vaccinated who do not support these Orwellian measures. I guess we should send food to NB, as they are not feeding their citizens. Let's start a Go Fund Me.

  4. OK, soooo, Bubber n Beave...and it's sounding like Mikey wants to join up... So...now you want to tell us the laptop is real and what's on it must be taken as fact without critique or consideration of context. OK done. Hunter and Tucker Carlson are buddies. Now tell us how the "Big Guy" (Daddy Joe) was pocketing influence money from the chi coms and admit to the insinuations of Joe's child abuse on Hunter's sisters. You guys are so much fun when you walk into walls of self harm to your narrative. Prog control is going to give three an ass-paddling for this one.

  7. Covid isn’t going away, it’s going to be around forever just like the flu, no matter how many people are vaccinated. Get used to it. I’m glad you have such ease denying people if fundamental rights. It’s too bad a virus with a 99.6.% survival rate, virtually 100% if you’re not in poor health has turned you into a fascist. Congratulations.

  8. It's actually 100% true that Tucker was/maybe still is on very friendly terms with Hunter Biden. They weren't just acquaintances, they were close enough to have each other over for dinner when they were neighbours. Like I said, I saw Tucker say the words himself on his own show. It's not a big deal at all. It's not like Tucker was instructing him how to shake down oil companies in other countries, or telling him what to say after he was busted. There are a lot of people all over the world who are friends with people before they become criminals, or before it becomes known that they are criminals. Every time some guy like Ted Bundy or Clifford Olson gets busted there are always neighbours or acquaintances saying: "But he seemed like such a nice guy. I never would have guessed."

  9. Currently, all nation-states utilize single monopoly government to rule all policy jurisdictions typically over single ideological lines. This is evidently detrimental to citizens as it is not logical that one party or ideology would perform competently over all jurisdictions. Monopoly government has almost always been the default form of government but since the advent of democracy the option to elect jurisdictional governments has not been explored. In the example of an automobile manufacturer, it would not be expected that an automobile company would manufacture the car and the tires, own and run the delivery trucks and trains to dealerships, maintain the roads the car would drive on, manage drivers' licenses, as well as manage the automobile financing. Any competent CEO would break up such a company into jurisdictions in order for them to function competently. Why is it then that citizens continue with monopoly government and expect ideological political parties to manage jurisdictions as diverse as the military, health and education systems and economic policy. Even with all governments being departmentalized, executive branches of governments adhere to one head of state and narrow ideology. Would nation-states not be better off electing separate councils for defense, economics and social services?

  13. The thing that is scary the most here is that anytime the government decides that it wants to force something on we the peasants all they have to do is to declare and implement an "emergency act", and voila, they can do whatever the hell they want to do with us peasants. Emergency acts may be necessary in some instances of disasters but, as we can see today with covid they have abused that emergency act power to be able to implement medical communist like tyranny nonsense on us all and is now being used to take away many rights and freedoms that we once had and took for granted before covid. This emergency covid act will be here forever as far as I am concerned. The politicians will never want to give up the power that they now have over us all. The wearing of diaper masks are here to stay for a very long time. Sometimes I have to wonder as to why people even bothered to get vaccinated at all and we still have to wear masks. If they can implement an emergency act with covid then they can easily do this at anytime they see fit and declare an emergency act to fight this so called global climate crisis where they can take even more rights and freedoms away from we the peasants. There was never a need for any emergency act to be implemented in the first place. That act was brought about in order to force people to get vaccinated and then bring about vaccine passports(666). I can now see an emergency act being brought in at anytime by our hero politicians to fight some phony and fake disasters as an excuse to take away our rights and freedoms in the future. Hey, we never know, eh? When a politician opens his/her mouth beware. It's probably not going to be all that great for we the peasants. Just saying. ?

  14. It doesn’t matter. Their immune systems are fighting the disease effectively, preventing illness, which is what immunity means.

  15. That's the kind of an "argument" health gurus make, after pumping innocent, incapable yet of evaluating information and making this type of decisions children, with no (see facts above) real benefits anywhere in sight. Just because someone somewhere feels or some model showed something. Shameful. And by the way, this isn't just reminiscent of the N-thing, but actually is it, the same old thing.
    1 point
  16. No, it’s not a crap shoot. You’re still ignoring the data. But you do have immunity in that you’re immune system resists and fight any virus. You have stronger immunity with vaccines and even stronger immunity if you’ve recovered from the virus. Btw, a crap shoot isn’t 99.6+%.

  18. Well, not really, he already agreed that vaccination does not stop infection so it wouldn't keep him safe. So it has to be that he just feels it, like our health gurus.

  19. Maybe read some of the studies. Deaths from covid involve people with terribly low Vit.D. Increasing your Vit. D intake is not a 100% guarantee against getting covid, but then, neither is the vax, apparently. And increasing your Vit. D is not expensive, easy to do and won't kill you.
    1 point
  20. No one is saying vaccination prevents infection except you. It keeps you out of hospital. It is very clear that hospitalizations are an epidemic of the unvaccinated. It also means that while the amount of viral matter expelled by the infected vaccinated is the same, it is much more corrupted and less infectious.

  21. I’m in my mid seventies. I have no co morbidities, am on no medications, work out and a BMI of 25.2 which makes me two pounds overweight for my age and height, but I’m working on it. I’m also not stupid enough to think vitamin D will protect me from a virus for which I have no immunity other than from vaccines.

  23. "Epidemics of unvaccinated" and "Vaccinated do not spread Covid" now both patently false, confirmed by facts. There's no reason.
    1 point
  24. Here are the facts. Of course, seeing and understanding the reality requires as minimum, two things: 1) eyes and 2) brain. "Epidemics of unvaccinated" "Health officials in Ontario are reporting 928 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday as the province's positivity rate for the disease reaches a level unseen in months. Of the cases logged today, 424 were found in unvaccinated individuals..." "Vaccines protect against infection" "With 26,136 tests processed since Monday, Ontario’s COVID-19 positivity rate stands at 3.8 per cent, the highest level reported since May 31 when it reached 4.3 per cent" - when mass vaccination has not even started. Another go at all eggs in one basket, another expensive failure. Maybe the reality is trying to say something, but who's listening?

  25. Well, the law says don't discriminate. The law says everyone is free to choose. The law , for sure does not say starve your fellow citizens for whatever bullshit reason you find fit. So the law has already been broken multiple times by the government. Don't expect the citizens to uphold it any more.

  26. This is most of the problem, most people are obeying all the restrictions put in place, yes there are a few wingnuts on all sides... and yet some how the vaccinated are so pissed that common sense have left them...And now they are looking at even more useless options. Each store has 2 options right now to maintain social distancing or closing the store to the unvaccinated, * note no mention of breaking the rules or laws for anyone...there is none to break right now. Stupid the government does not want any fingers pointed at them, they will leave it up to business to make that call. However there are still many ways to skin the cat, people can still have food, pharma restaurant meals you name it delivered either by door dash or etc, or by cab or curb side pick up. But this stupid restrictions will only last until the vaccinated want more restrictions... and all it is doing now is divide the people into groups... I seen a documentary on human behavior, they took a high school sports team, and divided half into prisoners the other half into prison guards, and watched as their behavior changed, remember this was a team of young men, that had already bonded... It did not take long for the guards to become violent drunk with power, which in turn made the prisoners violent...all of this took less than a few days...everyone said could not happen to me or my friends...well this experiment was done with different age groups, and they all had the same outcome...go f*** ing figure... We have gone from a few restrictions that were working, to now firing people , unable to make a living, plus cutting them off unemployment or any other social programs, in some provinces we have seen names taken off a transplant list for not being vaccinated, other sa medical people who refused are now restricted from ev3r practicing medicine in the province ever, now we see more restrictions no in person visits to nessicary facilities, like food , pharma, doctors office, etc....because we are getting scared... we have even heard people yelling it would be ok to arrest them, place them in quarantine until they are vaccinated, some are good with placing them in jail...Not even a second thought to their families welfare, how is their kids going to eat, maintain a roof over their head, none of that , basically it is f*** them, they brought this on themselves .... Thats good old fashion Canadian moral values and hospitality right there... F*** em feed them cake...and thats what we do with Canadians , can you only imagine what we would do with people from other countries of groups...get the rope theres going to be a hanging... This is not the Nation i spent 34 years defending its morals ,values and foreign policy... This does not even look like the Canada I remember and all over a virus that basically we are all immune to, and what we have done with it is put our nation on the brink of finical ruin , we shredded our moral and values, and turn on each other...like two fat kids fighting over the last smarties. , I'm starting to think Dougie was right we should let it burn to the ground and start all over...what a mess , because this Canada is not worth saving...can hardly wait until something deadly comes along and really puts us in danger...

  27. Australia is unofficially under Chinese control. They’re locked in by trade deals and economic threat, not to mention the military threat. That’s what the Aussie security pact with the US is trying to fight. The playbook for world affairs became China’s after March 2020. Our totalitarian pandemic government is following a well promoted template. https://apple.news/AV_uGswhkQD6dQ9PfPi0Viw

  28. I'm not sure why this is a real story at all. I don't get to watch Tucker Carlson every night but I do recall him saying on one of his past shows something to the effect that he likes Hunter Biden and that he's a likeable guy. With all that crack and all those hookers we know Hunter is a partier. I'm pretty sure Tucker Carlson has also talked a lot about Hunter Biden and his repeated laptop fails as well as his undeserved highly lucrative business dealing. Tucker will probably address this so-called story on his show tonight. Now if anyone shows evidence that Tucker is also heavily involved in Hunter's deals then that's a big story.?

  29. Don’t minimize it, they were more than casual acquaintances and this is happening exactly ehen Biden was on Burismas board (one of many pro-western non-Ukrainians on the board BTW) not sometime before. Burisma and Ukraine more generally have been targets of Russian aggression for some time and the “prosecutor” that the EU and USA wanted fired was a known Russian Putin puppet attempting to destabilize pro-western institutions in Ukraine.

  30. This is happening all over the world. This is what happened in the animal trials. The vaccinated ones got re-infected, they got sicker when re-infected and they died of other things, as well as covid, because each successive vaccination lowers the immune system. This is what many scientists and doctors have warned would happen. I'm guessing here, but I think it's because there is a lot of natural immunity now amongst the unvaccinated, which has repeatedly been shown to be superior, as it encompasses the entire virus, not just the spike protein and thus is more efficient against any variants that come along as well.

  32. The gov't didn't say that they have to ensure vax status, they said that it's optional. I'm not saying that a store can't do it if they want to, they most certainly can. I'm just saying that that's the point where they are no longer just a local business that I would like to support - I would want to see them fail.

  33. It's because they keep believing the promises. It doesn't matter what the government promises them or how many times they are lied to, they keep thinking/hoping that THIS time the government will do what it says it will do. It's the "boiling the frog" analogy. Also, they don't see the picture because it's not them being tyrannized - yet. Trudeau's big thing is climate and they are already tying covid to climate change in the media. The vax pass is going to morph into much more. Wait til they can't drive to go see their grandkids or can't buy those steaks for dinner because they used up all their carbon credits for the month. Wait til they decide they don't want the 10th or 11th or 12th jab and their pass is revoked and they can't go farther than 2 kms from their house. Wait til they can't go anywhere or do anything or their kids can't go to university because they didn't build up enough social credits. They'll be crying then but it will be too late. For everybody.

  36. This is a wild oversimplification of the situation. First of all, why would you assume that some kind of privatization would make any difference to the frequency or severity of "medical mistakes"?? Secondly: people who do things make mistakes. All day, every day, every profession, trade and category of labour, people make mistakes. Finally: we don't have to wonder how privatized medicine works, we can just look straight South and see that such a system costs more that twice as much $$$$ as what we have and delivers outcomes far down the scale from what we get. You need to separate out what function is what function, who can best do those functions and finally what factors keep them from working as intended and remove those "problem" components. To begin with: medical doctors do NOT deliver much in the line of "health care", they mostly provide "sick care". to understand this: as with anything else, follow the gold. There is very little money in medicine until someone gets sick or injured. The drug business is a perfect example of how and why sick care is done the we it is - it is how the big bux flow into the picture. To my mind: the best way to make GPs switch from pill pushers for Big Pharma into health care providers is assign each one "X" patients and pay them for the ones who are healthy and alive. This was once done in China (so I was told when we worked out of a medical university campus in Guangzhou). What needs to be publicly funded is just that: HEALTH care. Moving some of the resources from sick care to health care would be critical to delivery. What needs to be 100% publicly funded is the insurance side (funding) as it more-or-less is now in Canada. What can be (and to some extent already is here) privately owned is service delivery. BUT: look at what happens in the US when you do that with Big Legal, Big Insurance and Big Pharma having carte blanche to exploit the system. Most of US sick care costs are based on the insurance component of the LLL (Legal Liability Lottery). One of the very few economic advantages we have in Canadian business over our Southern competing neighbours is our sick care system. It is far from perfect, but it allows business a free hand to be business instead of wasting billions (here) and TRILLIONS (in the US) on an army of blood sucking lawyers, insurers, administrators, risk managers, etc. We just need to tweek our delivery schemes to be more cost and medically effective. The idea that you can wave a magic wand and take the risk out of making split second decisions in care delivery of people in highly compromised and critical situations is ludicrous.

  38. "Canada could accommodate millions more people in the north without overwhelming our metropolitan areas in the south, but only if we have policies that encourage northern settlement. " Why would we even do that? "I don’t know why such a push to the North isn’t integrated into some form of immigration policy, such as a minimum period of residence outside certain regions prior to the granting of full citizenship. " Waste of time. The vast majority will move south at the first opportunity. "There’s much that we could do to improve Canada cheaply and affordably, but our leaders often take the easy way out for political expediency, borrowing money and saddling future generations with debt to buy off voters and pay for dubious pet projects. " Indeed.

  39. Thanks for the gossip and innuendo Beave, but that's not what adult conversations are about. The last time you spoke on this issue you posted a couple of articles that showed pictures of Trump and Epstein together, one article was about a party in the late '90s, the other was from 2001 iirc. If not 2001 then 2003. You have nothing more current or you'd post it. Regarding Clinton & Trump, let's not pretend that either one of them wasn't partying like bachelors in 1999. Let's not pretend that women aren't at their most attractive between 22-35. It's the same for men. Billionaires and men of power love to have sex with women in that age range, and given the chance to have sex with a Playboy bunny in secrecy, almost all of the married men that you love and respect will jump at the chance so get over it. Also, saying that someone "likes their women on the younger side" doesn't mean that they like children. Learn the effing language. I really doubt that Epstein's island was primarily about sex with minors. Sure, that's the highly illegal/immoral part (and there were adult prostitutes there as well), but it's more likely about power and networking, and using people's perversions against them for leverage. There are places like that in the ME, Europe, Asia and everywhere. Marco Polo wrote about places like that centuries ago. There are/have been tens of thousands of such places in human history. (Actually, in most cases, they were probably far worse places because Epstein/Maxwell just conned girls and women into going there. I have no doubt that there are still hundreds places on earth where sex slaves are forced to do those things) Just be glad that you live in a culture that is showing less and less tolerance for the existence of such places and stop trying to politicize them. Keep your eyes on the prize: Ghislaine needs to pay a huge price for her part in this. It's important that she's exposed as a heinous criminal and not a victim. She is from an incredibly wealthy and powerful family, she didn't need to become a madam.

  40. The Australian government has now gone totally communist. Australians are being treated like criminals and terrorists because of some people that do not want to get vaccinated or have violated some communist rule or regulation. One guy was arrested while sitting on a bench and having a smoke and the cops came along and arrested him for being a miles out of his restricted zone. This is how stupid this covid bull shit has become and yet there are still the fools and idiots out there that have no problem with this. What goes around, comes around. It will only be a matter of time before these fools and idiots get their own up and comings. Then it will be too late for them because nobody will be running to their defense. if anyone has the attitude that they don't care what happens to others well their turn is coming. Too late then. ?
