There is plenty of evidence, to the extent that any president impacts jobs growth. You just choose to ignore the evidence.2 points

Any thoughts as to why the media sat on this story for around two years? Why didn't they publish this story right after it happened? Were they saving it in the hopes of dropping a bombshell during the next election? It's no wonder most people have a low opinion of journalists.2 points

Did you see the part where John Bolton has come out and said, "No, the president did not say those things in France?" He's the only eyewitness who has come forward and said something, and it's in Trump's defence. Outstanding, dramatic theatre. Riveting, ain't it? So yet another accusation that doesn't stick to the Donald. It doesn't help that the news, mainstream news here, is exposed as having a lying agenda. It must be frustrating for people who truly want there to be something. Please do let me know when you find anything important... anything at all.2 points

Indeed...the late Sen John McCain was not without sin when it comes to such things. As for being a "loser" (a common NYC "insult"), Trump is correct....Senator John McCain lost to Senator Barack Obama in the 2008 election. (Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016.)2 points

You know things aren't that cozy with the leftists when they start resurrecting lies. It's bad enough that fake news had been told in the first place - but to revive it as well? I think they know Trump will win again. Lol. Leftist media have been latching on and reviving how Trump had "disparaged" the late McCain and referred to him as a "loser" for having been captured by the Vietcong. Trump is of course being portrayed as someone who has contempt for McCain's military service. BUT.......what they're not telling you is what made Trump call McCain a "loser!" Do you know? FACT CHECK: McCain started it by calling Trump's supporters, "crazies." https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/08/who_really_started_the_trumpmccain_feud.html McCain simply got back what he dished out. Hero or not - doesn't exempt you from getting dissed back when you insult someone! If you throw a pie at someone, chances are he'll throw one at you, too.1 point

It's not about you...it is about political reality whether you were old enough or not. Bill Clinton helped to make a President Trump possible.1 point

I don't know if he did or not, but so far it's all anonymous sources, and yeah, they confirmed it was 4 anonymous sources. on a visit to France a few years ago. I I seem to remember a flap at the time about him not wanting to go in the rain and subsequent records showed that it was indeed bad weather that prevented the trip. If he said something so egregious why wouldn't they have said something at the time, so coming out now really feels like a slime job. https://dailycaller.com/2020/09/06/never-happened-sources-close-to-trump-rally-defense-atlantic-story/1 point

Yes it is, but with a quick goggle search one could find hundreds of cases with similar results, and i understand the courts are over loaded, every government related department is over loaded with no funding relief waiting in the wings.... And i'm no lawyer, but thought this was a no brainer, she has already taken ONE life, and knowing that she decided to get back behind the wheel hammered again, and again... I'm sure she had a tearful apology to the family when she appeared in court, as i'm sure the judge is going to get to see all the drama for a 3 rd time..... she needs a good sentence, jail time, loss of drivers lic for life, and needs to complete a spin dry course, and stay sober for life....plus she needs to make restitution to the mans family of a large sum... a life changing sum...like sell your car, your house , everything she owns or has her name attached to it.... her and her family need to pay a price...and not a 1 1/2 year sentence that is a slap in the face to everyone.... I think more enforcement is needed, it is after all the law.....tougher sentencing should be added.... 34 % of all traffic accidents involving death have booze or drugs involved ... https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/canadas-drunk-driving-death-rate-worst-among-wealthy-countries-u-s-study-finds1 point

Being irrational, you fan the flames for people like Dialama to become even more misled about fake news. As we see here now. She is the one who fell for it, not me. Backfire, and you have to backtrack because you see the damage you are creating. Is there a point to these provocative (but poorly written...) posts you are making lately?1 point

A meaningless message, as Trump and his presidency are a symptom of much larger political and cultural issues in the United States, and parroted back in Canada in the usual way. John McCain could not achieve the presidency despite decades of military and public service, but Trump did it on his first attempt without either. ...it takes far more than Kool-Aid®1 point

1. There is no way to say what peoples' motives are for sure. 2. The real 'true believers' are Trump followers. I will concur that I am not rational when it comes to this vile vile man, though. I won't ever deny having TDS1 point

It's endless. The MSM perpetuate a huge lie, get everyone really pissed off, it eventually gets debunked, and they shrug it off and jump onto the next bandwagon. The leftist idiot sycophant horde won't even bat an eye about the fact that they were lied to, and that they were tricked into walking around perpetuating CNN's lies. Trump: "We're being wiretapped." MSM & OBAMA: "HAHAHAHA TRUMP IS A HUGE LIAR! HE'S DERANGED!. HE'S MENTALLY UNFIT TO BE PRESIDENT!!!! WHAT AN IDIOT!!!!!!!!" FBI/DOJ: "The Trump campaign was spied on, Obama knew." MSM & OBAMA: "Ummmmmm, hey look over there at all the peaceful protests! Only 20 or so people have been killed and thousands of people have been assaulted. Businesses have been burned to the ground and looted. But it's mostly peaceful." Pollsters: "The Dems' support for the RIOTS is hurting Biden in the polls." MSM & OBAMA: "THESE ARE RIOOOOOOOTS! IT'S TRUMP'S FAULT! WE NEVER HAD ANY RIOTS IN 2014, 2015 and 2016! Trump actually started these riots somehow! He tricked us into supporting the rioting with his orange devilry!" And the leftist idiots just keep gobbling up what CNN poops out.1 point

Well, I don't think that's it. Universities and companies have been under represented in groups without it raising a concern. This has always been about the backlash from slavery. Nobody cares about the Irish. Watch these two, in order:1 point

What it boils down to is the Democrats and their supporters want to believe the MSN at all costs...it's called confirmation bias...it's real...and it can work...usually. They are, after-all...not deplorable. They are the better people...so by divine right...always correct. Born to rule.1 point

Bolton is a reliable source given that he's not a Trump supporter! Given the contentious history between him and Trump - why would he lie about it, if not for simply fairness sake? Why would he stick out his neck to defend Trump?1 point

Nope. People were saying that McCain was a 'war hero' but in fact he was not a war hero at all. He was a veteran, and he spent a lot of time in a POW camp, but those things do not make him a hero and in actual fact he was not a hero at all. He was a weasel. Trump made the distinction between 'hero' and 'POW'. Facts are facts. People who have no skin in the game like to think that they can turn America's military members against Trump, but that will never happen because military men and women LIVE IN the truth. They are immersed in it. They are not merely casual observers of what happens overseas; they have either served over there, they have friends over there, or they're a phone call away from being sent over there. They're not interested in dying in some bullshit war, and they see a commander in chief who has completely de-escalated the situation in the middle east from every angle. Just remember that when Trump took over the Presidency there was an actual country founded by a terrorist group in the middle east which was still growing, America was still busy trying to kill the leader of Syria, they were just coming off a war in Iraq, and they were still heavily involved in Afghanistan. Russia had just annexed Crimea, they had invaded part of Ukraine, and the US under Obama had done absolutely nothing at all about it. The world had gone to shit under Obama. A lot has changed in 4 years. Trump backed the Ukrainians with American missile technology that stopped Russia's aggression cold. Trump called off the plans for ousting Assad. Trump is winding down Afghanistan. Iraq has cooled off. 'Islamic State' is not a state anymore. Trump's willingness and ability to kill terrorist leaders of the highest order, like Suleimani, has proven America to be strong and uncompromising, while at the same time he's not racking up a huge body count of young middle eastern men. The ME is not grieving, instead they're seeing stability coming to their corner of the earth. There can be no starker contrast than the ME that had the terrorist nation known as "Islamic State" grow to be one of the world's 100 largest countries under Obama, and the middle east of only 4 years later with Islamic State completely unseated and peace between Israel and one of the key Arab states. Run your mouth about Trump all you want, America's servicemen live in a harsh reality and they feel the truth in their bones.1 point

The only proven liar in this story is the president again. His cult rushes to his defense on the slimmest of premises, ie. "It's ok to make fun of somebody for being a POW ! John McCain insulted him first !" Ridiculous.1 point

No, it’s an insult. Trump will insult anyone that insults him first. He displayed that behaviour quite frequently in 2016. Is it childish and uncivil? Yep. But that’s also why this cemetery story makes very little sense. He wasn’t attacked by anyone. It was just a cancellation of an event by his staff. There was nobody to have to insult. Especially if he didn’t want to go. There’s absolutely no motive at all.1 point

This election is a tipping point. Trudeau wins again, its over. Greatest country ever, destroyed by a punk that thinks he is going to save the world and we are going to pay for it.1 point

Blah, blah blah. Trump ran for an election on a very broad platform with a lot of specific policies and he successfully completed most of them, made a large amount of progress on most of the rest and has worked hard at the rest. As far as politicians go, he's in the top 1% for doing what he says. On the flipside, America had a power-hungry sleazebag with a horrible record as a politician to vote for. They made the right choice. It's unfortunate that a guy like Brad Wall couldn't make it to the 2016 Presidential election in the US. That didn't happen and it's sad. But Trump has been a GREAT President. I didn't predict that (he was the lesser of two evils imo), but I'll at least admit to it.1 point

Okay, I just watched an interview with Dr. Peter Lin on Power and Politics, and he agrees with you. If we continue to wash our hands, keep two metres apart, and wear masks and/or shields, we should be able to prevent another lockdown. I need to borrow a ladder to climb down off my high horse. The Trump cult is built on irrationality, hypocrisy and flouting of conventions of civility. If you want to stay calm and rational, I recommend going to a church to say the rosary. There are important things afoot, and some of us get upset about it.1 point

This is a specific case, but it shows the problem is the courts. Courts are being overloaded with cases, and government is not providing more resource for that. It is not unlike what's happening in cities in US where the courts and jails are so full, they allow outright felons to walk away with charges dismissed. We just haven't gotten quite that far yet. The level of enforcement in the street is already enough, IMO. They identified her. A couple times even. Job done. It's also apparent to me that the number of drunk-driving related accidents has gone down, thanks to promoting it through advertising and more public education. This adds another benefit to reducing harm, as opposed to the more gestapo-like strong arm enforcement tactics in brew pub parking lots.1 point

We live in a liberal society where it would appear as though the victim was the problem. The victim should have stayed at home that day. That is how I see things going on here in liberal justice Canada. There is no way that this criminal woman should be allowed to get away with murder. She has no regard for other people's lives nor the law. She is actually giving the finger to society. WTF is right.1 point

because booze is the drug of choice for society in general, it gets a big pass in courts. A-G has been around the military long enough to know it is the drug that is used to promote esprit-de-corps. When you see a parking lot full of cars behind/beside EVERY bar in Canada every Friday and Saturday night, how can "law enforcement" possibly just sit by knowing a significant number of those vehicles are going to be driven by drunks that very night - and they do little or nothing? Why? Because their off-duty members may well be inside too. Drugs are indeed a HUGE problem in Canada, but the idea that booze is somehow not part of that problem is ludicrous. I don't care if someone is on the first, second, third or murderous drunk drive: get caught (and let's see a real effort TO doing the catching) and you are a pedestrian for life. Get caught driving after that and off to jail...for a long time. Kill someone driving drunk and it is federal time, none of this namby-pamby "high school of crime" provincial holiday, but find out what a murderer's life SHOULD be like. BTW: I think the number needs to be closer to 0.2% than 0.8.1 point
