  1. Yes, but it is a common social and political dynamic in the U.S. because the Democratic party is very dependent on the so called "black vote", and anything that reduces turnout and votes in "urban" cities and counties hurts their election chances. This is why we see prominent "people of colour" with conservative views on Fox News and social media channels. Other African American groups have openly challenged the Democrats to earn their vote instead of presuming they have no other choices or ideas. As in 2016, there is no Obama to save the Democrats in 2020. Trump did better with Black and Hispanic voters than many want to admit, especially males.

  2. You'll have to ask him, but I suspect he resents any independently thinking (and empowered) non-white person who would dare challenge his righteous ("moral"), progressive ideology. "Black folk" are supposed to be beholden and indebted to leftist causes. How dare they "support" Trump ! Racism is their go-to weapon of choice, except when the tables are turned. But it is losing its impact, having been diluted and co-opted from its original impact and power so much over the past decade or so.

  3. It would be interesting to know which enthusiastic "spamcop" MLW member flagged my account as spam and caused an unwarranted 2 week banning of my account from this site. Hard to believe someone could possibly mistake a member who has actively posted for 8 years on a forum as anything other than a contributing member. I guess nothing should surprise me anymore.

  4. Those hysterical women are Trump's best campaign-assets in next year's election. He can always say that if the Democratic candidate, whoever he is going to be, wins he just might include some of those women, or all of them, in his cabinet.

  7. Exactly. I don't agree with blocking public streets for prayers or slaughtering of animals or blaring loudspeakers of religious mumbo-jumbo.

  8. It's a physical act to show dominance over all others by literally overpowering you with the call to prayer. Sort of like me blaring Iron Maiden at top volume in a quiet residential neighbourhood...it's a big FU to many folks trying to sleep-in...except Iron Maiden fans...they quite like it.

  9. She'll never apologize. But her rewriting of history to make Haj Amin al-Husseini the Jew's savior is just like saying Adolf Eichmann was the Jew's savior. She got a calming feeling from expressing the lie that the Mufti was the Jew's savior...you're free to support her in this lie. It doesn't change the actual history of the Palestinian Cause and it's deep involvement with the Third Reich and the Final Solution.

  10. No crime , maybe you should check again....all major city centers have crime, the entire country has a low unemployment rate, you have Hydroelectricity because you stole it from most of it from NFLD, everyone has oil....you think that Quebec is going to define their own borders, then there's the splitting Canada in to Two pieces not going to happen sorry.......you also own a portion of Canada's dept, plus what of all the federal infra structure there do you think thats all going to be free. Not to mention what of the 9 bil dollar s Quebec receives every year form the rest of the nation.... I think those that are for separation have not thought it out fully...Canada would take a major hit to it's economy, not to mention Quebec's or Alberta's … our dollar would be worth shit....and Quebec's or Alberta's would be worth even less....it would forever change everything in Canada....other nations have tried the same thing and a lot of them have not ended well, things like civil war, or major conflict in some cases....Nothing good is going to happen from separation, the grass is always greener on the other side until you cross the fence only to find things are not so rosy Canada is only strong when we are whole....

  11. Why is it that progressive would rather set themselves on fire than ascribe even the tiniest trace of guilt to Islam for the continuing terrorist attacks by Muslims, but one or two attacks by the far right on Muslims instantly turns them into hysterics and becomes the fault of all conservatives or anyone who disrespects Islam?

  12. All these alt-left liberal prime mistakes of Canada that have come from Quebec have pretty much been running and ruining Canada for several decades now, and all have shown us in the rest of Canada that it is all about Quebec. If Quebec needed that pipeline Quebec would get that pipeline. All environmentalists and native Indians would be told point blank to shut the hell up about it and they would. But in the rest of Canada those environmentalists and Native Indians get a free pass to try and destroy the construction of the pipeline in Alberta and BC. If some people think that Trudeau gives a chit about the rest of Canada well no wonder Canada is in a big mess thanks to those clown bozos. G. Soros is one of the many big foreign fund raisers in the fight against the pipeline being built. Apparently, Soros and Trudeau are great buddies or at least Trudeau thinks he is Soros buddy. But Trudeau doesn't get it and never will that behind his leftist liberal weak back, Soros is giving Trudeau the finger. Trudeau the fool is being used by globalist Soros to help Soros continue to try and wreck and ruin our western economy and way of life and values. Soros hates all the western countries in the world. I believe that color make be a big factor in all of this. Hey, you never know, eh? Just saying.

  15. He didn't say go back to your shithole countries, so once again you're lying. If you want to actually paraphrase his argument accurately it reads more like: "You guys seem to think America is really bad, and you're still proudly carrying the torch for the places and the cultures that your family came from, but those places are in fact far worse than America in every meaningful way, so why don't you clean up the places that you came from so that your arguments about how bad America is actually start to make sense? Then by all means, please come back and help us make our country better as well."

  16. Yup. But the processes were at least hopeful. There was over $135 Billion worth of plans, based on the fact that it seemed to be possible. Within 2 years of Trudeau being in power all of those plans fell like dominos. I have a feeling that if $30B of that money could go to Quebec Trudeau would back in the saddle faster than a young John Wayne.

  17. Once again you guys are off on your own bullshit tangent, just making things up to make yourselves feel morally superior instead of just conducting civil, thoughtful, insightful dialogue. I dare you to try and sit in front of CNN for just one hour and think really hard about whether or not the things that they are saying are actually true or if they're a twisted, politicized concoction that doesn't represent the accurate and meaningful truths of the story at all. Let's PVR the same show and you don't even have to pick out the lies the first time around, you can just find one or two topics that they hit on that you believe in your heart of hearts to be 100% accurate and on point and we can discuss that. I dare you try and find even one thing that you can hang your hat on, aside from a fluff story that's thrown in there to make themselves look compassionate and sincere.

  31. We can take those statements to task, that might be good for another thread. I doubt it would be a civil conversation for long. Still my statement stands. The irony in Trump telling these 4 ladies to go back to their 'shithole' country when 3 out of the 4 were born in the USA. By that alone, Trump is saying something vile about the nation he runs. So that might mean that Trump actually agrees with what these ladies say about the USA.

  35. Racism is a fundamental building block in U.S. history and development...it cannot be totally extinguished for lots of reasons, including special interest groups who will never give up on racism as a political weapon. That's why some of the Democrat candidates are beating the drum about slavery reparations....and identity politics revolving around race. Racism ideology inflames and enrages on all sides of the spectrum, even when it is used as an obvious ploy from an otherwise weak position. So called "people of colour" (a racist term) cannot get past this mindset and baggage forced upon them by those who wish to use it for their own agenda. And yes, there are historical parallels with Brazil that match your description.

  36. It's still something that makes me uneasy a bit, because where I grew up in Québec, everyone got along very well and racism was not accepted at all. Even in my super white rural neighborhood growing up when I was a child, there was no tolerance for racism at all, some kids would get beat up for that. It's not something you bring up in Québec. You may bring up the other person's language (English vs French) for its lack of cultural assimilation, but race, never. It's crazy that you have this mentality, and I noticed it when I traveled to Brazil too, this kind of 'race mentality'.

  38. That's the amazing thing about Trump....his enemies know he will do these things but they still fall for the bait every time as Trump continues to play Rope-A-Dope® with them whenever he pleases. They refuse to ignore his taunting jabs and outrageous tweets...because they just can't do it, and fall over themselves trying to get the furthest left for virtue signaling, "progressive" credit. The problem is that the Democrats need more than just votes from the elite Kool-Aid® drinkers. They need to win more states.

  47. I am in agreement with people who say that there is a crisis at the border. I never said there wasn't one. It's multi-faceted. It involves human trafficking, drugs, terrorists, people are dying in the desert, the cartels are making a small fortune, families are still getting separated at the border, it's an expensive problem, the tens of thousands of daily interactions between border guards and illegal immigrants will eventually result in an unfortunate incident, and the US can't handle immigration at the current rate, etc. I think that the Dems are working much harder to gain political points from it than they are at trying to solve the problem. Case in point, AOC. She is talking (lying) about intentional inhumanity, not the fact that detention centers are overcrowded resulting in "inhumane conditions". It's worth noting that she also voted against money to battle the problem. Forcing people to drink out of toilets would be intentional inhumanity if it was really happening. Calling the detention centers "concentration camps" is another massive lie/insult at the exact same level. (Ironically, we all know that almost everyone in North America equates concentration camps with the holocaust and think that the holocaust was a horrible thing, but one of the members of the squad said that "she gets a calming feeling in her body when she thinks about the holocaust". You'd think that they'd steer clear of the topic, but I guess it doesn't really matter because CNN will never mention that.)

  48. Lol eyeball, you're just backing up your stream of lies and deflection with more lies and deflection. I haven't moved the goalposts at all. I proved that you backed AOC's idiotic lies with quotes that didn't actually back her claims at and I stand by that. I'm right on point and you're still toeing the line for the moron who is inspiring domestic terrorists. Get an emotional support llama if you can't handle it.

  49. Jordan Peterson points out the insanity of this transgender 'movement', and how little sense or science is behind it. The continually expanded plethora of “identities” recently constructed and provided with legal status thus consist of empty terms which (1) do not provide those who claim them with any real social role or direction; (2) confuse all who must deal with the narcissism of the claimant, as the only rule that can exist in the absence of painstakingly, voluntarily and mutually negotiated social role is “it’s morally wrong to say or do anything that hurts my feelings”; (3) risks generating psychological chaos among the vast majority of individuals exposed to the doctrines that insist that identity is essentially fluid and self-generating (and here I’m primarily concerned about children and adolescents whose standard or normative identity has now merely become one personal choice among a near-infinite array of ideologically and legally defined modes of being), and (4) poses a further and unacceptably dangerous threat to the stability of the nuclear family, which consists, at minimum, of a dyad, male and female, coming together primarily for the purposes of raising children in what appears to be the minimal viable social unit (given the vast and incontrovertible body of evidence that fatherlessness, in particular, is associated with heightened risk for criminality, substance abuse, and poorly regulated sexual behaviour among children, adolescents and the adults that they eventually become). https://nationalpost.com/opinion/jordan-peterson-gender-politics-has-no-place-in-the-classroom
