1. Incorrect. I've looked at the claims from actual climate scientists who opposed the status quo.

I don't have to waste time on things that I recognize are set up as entertainment. And I can tell that by looking at it, for the reasons I stated.

There are enough people on here who write off someone because they have blue hair. Or won't listen to someone because of their politics.

I don't do that, I filter out disinformation entertainment And trolling.

2. No. I've looked at it. You mentioned that some people have outlined that climate change has been mitigated, and I asked you what those sources were. So you seem to ignore those. Why?

I also don't pay attention to political, or scaremongering YouTube's that push the narrative that we are doomed due to climate change.

...

So no, I don't accept your criticism here.

When I read people who misrepresent what I have said, it makes me not want to engage with them. Are you aware that I have not made The same kind of statements about the economics of climate change mitigation than I have about the science itself?

It's because I care more about the public sphere than any of this.

You have never provided one scrap of actual science to support your claims despite being asked dozens of times.

You guys can't even quote one that says that this is an actual crisis. Dozens of people on this forum have asked dozens and dozens of times for actual hard science to show that this is a crisis or that actions that Canada could take right now with substantially alter that for example

So I guess what we're really saying is this is the crisis

Bla blah blah:

AI Overview

Predictions of imminent, apocalyptic, or "everyone will die" scenarios regarding the environment started appearing in mainstream media and scientific commentary in the
late 1960s and early 1970s, often surrounding the first Earth Day. While not all these warnings came from climate specialists (many were from ecologists focused on population and pollution), they were widely reported as expert scientific consensus. [OMG... sound familiar, jackass?]
AgWeb +2
Key instances of early apocalypse warnings include:
  • 1969–1970: Biologist Paul Ehrlich was highly influential in pushing a "dying planet" narrative, warning in the New York Times (August 1969) that "unless we are extremely lucky, everybody will disappear in a cloud of blue steam in 20 years".
  • 1970: Many predictions warned of mass starvation, with Denis Hayes, a chief organizer for Earth Day, declaring that "it is already too late to avoid mass starvation".
  • 1970s Cooling Scare: During this time, some researchers hypothesized a "new ice age" due to aerosol pollution, with Newsweek in 1975 reporting that "the world is cooling and may be heading for a catastrophic drop in temperature".
  • 1980s–1990s: As the focus shifted toward global warming and greenhouse gases, experts like NASA's James Hansen in 1988 accelerated warnings, with headlines at the time predicting that sea levels would soon destroy entire nations and that cities like New York would face extreme flooding. ["experts", plural, not just Cultist Leader Hanson. And FYI "soon", from 1988, doesn't mean "well, nothing has really happened yet 30 years later, buuuuuuuuut..."]
    AgWeb +3

Context on Predictions:
While many of these specific, short-term apocalyptic timelines (e.g., total extinction by 1989) failed to materialize, they initiated a long, continuing trend of media-reported environmental warnings. Modern, rigorous, peer-reviewed climate science (such as IPCC reports) focuses more on catastrophic risks, widespread damage, and population displacement, rather than literal, instant human extinction.

Did you get that, robo? Your cult leaders were saying "soon" countries would be destroyed, all the way back in 1988.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

OUR MSM IS A DISGUSTING BUNCH OF TRAITORS

I don't know how anyone can watch Travis Dhanraj's testimony in committee today and come up with anything other than the CBC is total Liberal government propaganda.

  • He was ran out of the CBC for wanting there to be more diversity of thought and opinion.
  • He was expressly told he could not interview Poilievre.
  • He was expressly told they did not want Conservatives on the show.
  • There was a list of between 40-45 people he was told to NEVER have on the show.
  • He had Mellissa Lantzman on and was threatened to be pulled off the air.
  • Rosemary Barton & David Cochrane bully and intimidate their coworkers.
  • He read a bunch of other testimonies from other whistleblowers who are afraid to step forward.

It's no wonder so many here say the Conservatives have no plan, everyone hates Poilievre, etc.

You were never allowed to hear the plan.

The CBC gets paid $1.4 billion (with a $150 million additional funds given to them by Carney right before the election) to campaign for the Liberals.

2) You really really have to frame this as a conspiracy don't you ?  You stated something, I asked for the cite.  You told me to go find it.  i couldn't.  Eventually it came up as something Justin said in French.  I retracted.

I will back West up on this.

You did it repeatedly.  The cite was given to you every time you denied it.  At least 4 or 5 times.  You'd disappear for a few weeks and then come back again repeating that Justin never said that.

I remember it because I had always thought of you as a fair person, but you were being willfully ignorant by denying something that had been repeatedly shown to you as true.

I remember when you finally let it go, you didn't really "retract " it.  You just said it didn't really matter to you and we were all making a big deal about nothing.

I agree with astrophysicist Dr. Willie Soon:

"It will be remembered as the greatest mass delusion in the history of the world—that CO₂, the life of plants, was considered for a time to be a deadly poison."

"What historians will definitely wonder about in future centuries is how deeply flawed logic, obscured by shrewd and unrelenting propaganda, actually enabled a coalition of powerful special interest groups to convince nearly everyone in the world that CO₂ from human industry was a dangerous, planet-destroying toxin."

Then why did I accept it eventually?

Maybe because somebody finally posted a link? Rather than people telling me to go find it myself?

I'm sure you could find the example. If you went through Google. I'm not going to do it.

Why?

Because I've done it before. I've linked to the pages where we had the discussion and where I retracted.

It doesn't make any difference.

You're still doing exactly what I accused you of, MH.

I accused you of dodging the story and minimizing every aspect of it and you are still doing that exact f'ing thing right now 🤣

Ask any conservative here if they have EVER seen you react with disgust or anger about anything that Trudeau ever said or did and they will all say "Not a f'ing chance. MH has always supported the LPoC 100%. He is a diehard liberal who only says that he is a conservative."

@CdnFox @Nationalist @Reg Volk @I am Groot @Legato @Goddess @paxamericana @...

  1. Have any of you guys EVER seen MH critical of Trudeau or the LPoC?
  2. Have you ever seen him take a policy position that's conservative in nature?
  3. Have you ever seen him find fault with anything the LPoC or Dems have ever done?
  4. Do you find him taking the side of libs over conservatives more than 99% of the same?
  5. In your own estimation, what % do you think MH is a conservative?

I figure Mike is a typical TDS victim. That state of mind trumps his common sense. I also think he's finding it very hard to come to grips with the failure of the institutions he relies on.

I was accused of denying science. I asked for an example. I have yet to get an answer. And why? Well obviously because there is no answer. It was nothing but a lame attempt at shaming by a desperate climate change deciple. Nothing more.

See..."science" has determined that in all probability, man has contributed to climate change. But the kicker is 2 fold.

1. There's no way to actually prove the premise.

And

2. There appears to be little need for concern.

One of the biggest problems the climate religious have, is man. Man has a need to resolve issues. Thus if we are creating an issue, we will do what is called "research" in order to mitigate any risks.

So today, climate change is not a pressing issue and tomorrow, man will engage in this "research" and will mitigate any risks.

Now you know.

You're quite welcome.
