You really need to lose that rightwing narrative of people 'fearing' climate change.

So Greta was just concerned?

STFU, clown. That was your posterchild. And she wasn't just fearmongering either, anger and hatred were at full blast as well.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

One thing that makes me question the whole "climate change is mainly because of human activity" narrative is earth's volcanic activity.  It's ignored by climate fanatics and rejected because, like MH, they reject science from volcanologists because they are not "climate scientists".

I posted on here about the Hunga Tonga volcanic eruption when it happened in 2022 and it was largely ignored by the climate fanatics on here.

That was a major climate event.

It released the equivalent of 58,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools of water vapor into the air and there was an article from NASA that I posted, indicating exactly how it would affect the climate on earth, what we could expect climactically from that massive amount of water vapor suddenly being injected into the atmosphere.

For the next few years, as I watched those predictions play out accurately - every news report explained those climate effects as being because of human activity.  No mention of the volcanic eruption.

As of today, there are 46 volcanoes erupting on earth.

It's estimated that each volcano emits as much CO2 in 2 seconds, as the human race does in a year.

You can't tax volcanoes.

That's why climate fanatics ignore their effect on climate.

1000% Exactly.

They propped her up for a decade. Official Government Climate Change gatherings... you name it. She was the poster child for action, as she sat on the street corner like a dooms day carinval barker crying about how we were destroying her future.

Now these guys on here, as they try to claim they are so reasonable, pretend they have no idea what we are talking about like none of this happened.

Where do we get this from?

Gee... I wonder...

“You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words. And yet I’m one of the lucky ones. People are suffering. People are dying. Entire ecosystems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a mass extinction, and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you!”

They can't even prove 100% that CO2 causes the warming we're seeing.

Thank you for pointing this out.

I've read a lot of papers on this and I've become more convinced that CO2 levels FOLLOW warming, not the other way around, as traditionally thought.

And earth is warming naturally because we are coming out of a little ice age.  This is why CO2 levels should go up.

I have confidence we will adapt without shoveling all our money to billionaires.

Where do we get this from?

Gee... who knows?! It is a total mystery...

“Adults keep saying: “We owe it to the young people to give them hope.” But I don’t want your hope. I don’t want you to be hopeful. I want you to panic. I want you to feel the fear I feel every day. And then I want you to act. I want you to act as you would in a crisis. I want you to act as if the house is on fire. Because it is.”

I always thought it was sad how the climate fanatics used her.

She is on the autism spectrum.  Asperger's to be exact.  My kids grew up with a friend who has this, but it wasn't as well known about at the time.

They tend to obsess about things.  And then it's all they will think about, all they will talk about, it takes over their brains.

There are techniques for pulling them out of their obsessions.

Her's were encouraged and exploited.

It made me sad at the time, but if you pointed any of this out to people.....OMG.  You were evil for "attacking" her.

Stop weaselling.

  1. YOU turned this transvestite topic into a main thrust of this thread, no one else
  2. I gave you the opportunity to explain your "conservatives are stripping rights away from people" comment and you ran away screaming sandbox insults like a child. Just man up and admit that conservatives did no such thing and we can close off this side-topic.

Give your empty head a shake... you can't stopping talking about transvestites like you're continuing to do here in a 'climate' conversation.  Move on....I have little interest in debating transvestites or your fascination with them.

Yep. They played the OMG how dare you she is just a child!

Now that she is an adult, it doesn’t seem they are using her as much so she is off to pander to the terrorists in Gaza now.

Is the source of that copy and paste from MSM, or....?

Regardless, thanks for validating what was said.  A synonym for 'concerned' is 'worried'....'fear' is not a synonym of.

Didn't read the article or quote, I see.  Or maybe inability to comprehend?

the word used in the title of the article is "distress".  To the point that it is affecting their plans for the future.  For many this means they don't want to have children if we're gonna die in a climate disaster "soon" or live like cave-dwellers.

Almost 40% report it negatively affects their life.

I would call this effect "fear".

Radical leftists only give lip service to caring about children, so I'm not surprised you dismiss this as nothing.

I DID think you were smart enough to comprehend that it isn't right wingers that fomented this distress amongst young people.

I stand corrected.

Again, you talked about people's rights being taken away, and you haven't provided any evidence of that.

Put up or shut up.

Well, if the younger generation listened more to the rightwing clowns they'd realize climate change ifs fake...right?

Name a subject and I'll find some little tidbit you can use either for or against.  That doesn't change the fact that climate change is real.  If you choose to be 'distressed' about it, so be it.  Most however tend to be 'concerned'.

Okay, if given the choice I'll shut up.  I don't talk about trans any more so you carry on....

Ignorance?

You are the one who doesn’t know anything about how women and girls are being impacted by the Trans madness you defend.

You are the ones who sit here pretending you have no idea where we get this fear mongering doomsday nonsense from regarding climate change.

I back up my comments with quotes, sources, and evidence.

I'm not obsessed with the transvestite convo.

I'm obsessed with people providing evidence to backup their grand claims like "you guys tried to take people's rights away."

Say those things to your clown friends if you want, they don't fly here.

It's been talked about countless times with countless scientific papers published....

Then... Why are you and everyone else being asked having such a difficult time producing any original science work?

Seriously, every single person who's brought up climate change has been asked to provide an actual scientific study or the like indicating that climate change is a crisis right now and or showing that anything we've proposed  to address it (like carbon taxes) will have a significant and measurable result.

So far no one has, they just say the same thing as you.  "The evidence is out there! Trust us! WHooo BOY there's a lot!  Can't show you any tho..."

You know, when @Goddess argues things she tends to provide proof. When she says the covid vaccines had higher risks than originally thought she posts actual peer reviewed research documents that arrive at that precise conclusion, and more than one.

LIkewise i usually provide actual research to back up my science related claims, actual accounting research and gov't statistics for my economic claims,  etc.

Yet for some reason YOU can't come up with  single actual original research document to support your claim.

Why not?
