Following the reasoning of his mentor Vlad Putin, President Dump has threatened that the US ould take back the Panama Canal if it doesn't do what he says and lower fees for US ships to pass.
Justifying by the same reasons as Crimea:
- It was historically ours - we built it and controlled it for years
- It is necessary for our Navy
- We "gave" it to you,

If the ignorant ass doesn't outgrow his Apprentice routine of "You're fired!" and his supporters accepting that as normal acceptable behaviour, there will be no need to make threats of leaving NATO and the UN. They'll grow the balls to boot the USA out.

About time we have someone in the White House that is serious about putting us first instead of giving everything away and watching us get screwed over. 

This is called international diplomacy, where we voice our criticism for what others are doing.

well it's called gunboat diplomacy, and trump overuses that way too much. He does need to settle down, the fact is it's not wise to give 3/4 of the world a reason to stab you in the back if they get a chance.

But at the end of the day he was elected to worry about America first and he is doing that so it's hard to find a lot of criticism for him. But America does need to build allies and you don't build allies by threatening everybody even if you don't intend to carry it through.

The Republicans under Eisenhower forced Britain and France to give up the Suez canal during the Suez crisis in 1956. It's more than a bit hypocritical that the US would force Panama to give that canal back.
