Is it me or is this guy more like trump every day?

These leftist figures accuse others of what they are doing themselves.

They are a crooked lot.

They're not crooked.  They're circular.  Eventually they always seem to find a way to bite themselves in the ass :)

Meh - you know what the left is like

Trump being investigated - most important event in human history.  Trudeau being investigated - why are you getting worked up over some little investigation or something? :)

After this much time they probably just haven't closed the file but i doubt they're actively investigating any more. Its pretty hard to prove even tho we all know he did.

You're probably right but if the fat lady does sing, I will be playing the piano. ♭ ♩ ♬

Leftist Hero investigated by the RCMP for obstructing justice in the SNC Lavelin scandal.

Very sad man

That’s literally the opposite of what the article said.    It said he’s NOT being investigated due to lack of evidence of any criminal wrongdoing

Funny you weren’t worried when Trump ACTUALLY obstructed justice and was protected from investigation by Bill Barr.

You didn’t read the article did you?  It says no investigation due to no evidence of any crime.

At this point PP just has to sit back and watch Pixie-Dust self destruct.

“I’m not Trudeau” is a sure-fire way to lose.   I kind of hope PP listens to advisors like yourself just to see all the exploded heads on this forum the day after the next election.

RCMP confirms it dropped investigation of Liberals' SNC-Lavalin affair over lack of evidence

Some people just don't know how to read and when the read, they just imagine words LOL

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But you are not entitled to your own facts.

Lemme guess: nothing much happened? Not sure if PM can appoint themselves any privileges and absolve themselves of any wrongdoing? Right you are, "lack of evidence" did we even try though? Kudos to the most in*dependent public safety service in the greatest democracy ever. Popcorn please, this is such a fun comedy.. somewhat repetitive if anything but folks never tire to watch.

Let's ask Jodie Wilson-Raybould what happened to her. She was the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General of Canada when Justin shit-canned her for it.

But hey. Shhh... no evidence.

It's not like they don't understand that with their act, repeatedly they erode and corrode public's trust in the key democratic institutes: free independent media (gone); independent public investigation and prosecution (possibly never existed in Canada); honest representation of public interests (may never have existed); independent justice and court system (going fast).

No: they understand, and couldn't care less. Because they can. Nothing to stop. Just watch us.

.. and then: what's left?

If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

And as usual the left has to lie to try to make it's point :)

In fact the RCMP's response note there was evidence, but not enough to go to trial AND that it was heavily blocked by parliamentary privilege.  Not quite the same as 'no evidence'.

Will they explode if it's a minority government though?

I predict a coalition government next election.   The Conservatives will win the most seats, but the Libs/NDP will join forces to form government.

That's probably because the meetings between SNC Lavalin's lobbyists and the government were in-camera affairs that weren't open to the public.

Quote

The company's lobbying push started on Feb. 2, 2016, when company officials met with Francois-Philippe Champagne. The Quebec MP, now the infrastructure minister, was at the time the parliamentary secretary to Finance Minister Bill Morneau.

It's the first meeting listed in the federal lobbyist registry which saw SNC-Lavalin press the Trudeau government on justice and law enforcement.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/snc-lavalin-trudeau-bribery-fraud-wilson-raybould-1.5020498

They were ostensibly talking about policy issues with the government - there was certainly nothing in the reason given for the meeting as it was written in the lobbying registry to suggest they really wanted to talk about getting Jodie Wilson-Raybould off their back.

Anyone from the public who feels they have a stake in the policies used to govern us should be allowed a presence when paid registered lobbyists of private corporations meet with the government.

The public's main interest should be to protect the process of governance from the sort of influence that bogs it down in controversies and scandals that do not serve anyone well and only help to feed the mistrust and acrimony that divides us as a society.

The political corruption that greases the wheels of economic interests is also the gunk that fouls so much of the public's.

So you're suggesting we should pass a law saying all clandestine meetings to plan illegal activities should be open to the public?

I see a few problems enforcing that.
