The flag is what it is. A celebration of a deviant life style. As such, no pre-pubecent child should be exposed to it.

Why not? There will no doubt be mis-informed children and adults exposing them to homophobia. They need to be prepared to deal with that misinformation. We should not be giving the mis-informed a head start in implanting homophobia in our children. The use of the word "deviant" is often given a negative connotation. Schools are a place where we can teach our children that regardless of their orientation, the deserve to be respected and safe. We still have a long road to travel to end bigotry.

Defamation requires harm.  An anonymous poster on an internet forum isn't being harmed.

The families of the murdered children were harmed because Jones claimed they were part of the conspiracy, which resulted in Jones' believers to harass and threaten them.

I agree.  No longer should they teach human reproduction in school…. 
 

Keep it to birds and bees….  Monkey copulation is out too…. way too close to human anatomy.  If they have to discuss mammal reproduction, maybe keep it down to the level of seals, or raccoons?

Perhaps if there'd been sex ed in my school, I'd have known what to do when a 12 year old boy told 9 year old me about he, his brother and father all having sex with his sister - but now they couldn't because she might get pregnant.

A lot of folks, particularly social conservatives, seem to conflate informing young people about sexuality, gender identity and sexual issues with the promotion of homosexuality, or any other sexuality that they happen to disagree with.

There’s no way to explain the meaning of the gay pride flag without reference to sexuality.  At what age should that be introduced to children?   The standard has been from around grade four (8 or 9 years).  The flag violates that.  Also, how many flags should we hoist representing which groups?   Can my wife’s quilting bee get a flag?   Khalistan?  How about the flag of Lichtenstein, because inclusion?

How do you "promote sexuality?" Sexuality is part of being a living multi-cell animal. One is born either heterosexual, bi-sexual or homosexual. Like being left or right handed, you can't change it and "promotion" is futile.
