Seems like they'd be leaving Putin's dictatorship and coming to Trudeau's. While I welcome any Ukrainians who wish to move here, they should be aware they cannot go against Supreme Leader Trudeau without having their bank frozen

I mean, we already have about 1.4 million Ukrainian Canadians in Canada.

Most in Ukraine will stay and fight. The Ukrainian government barred males age 18-60 from leaving.

I don't think Putin will win a decisive victory. Despite having the numbers and equipment advantage, their drafted army doesn't want to crush their neighbours and friends. It'd be like the USA invading Canada

I'm impressed with the Ukrainian president. While he goes on the front lines of a war, our prime minister fakes covid and hides out in his bunker from his citizens.

I am sure there is nothing to be impressed about there.  He is a pro-NATO puppet who poses a threat to Russia and his own country.

After looking into it further it appears you are right. The photos of him supposedly on the front lines are from 2019. Looks like more legacy media propaganda

I want to move to Ukraine and fight Russians.

Combat is 95 % boredom, and 5 % total craziness where you can experience all your senses and emotions on pure steroids that will last for minutes or hours, coming down from that much adrenaline is like coming down from a high .... You'll see and do things that would make a goat puke, and you'll take all of that home with you, in the form of PTSD...that will take years just to become normal...It will change you for life....Not trying to talk you out of it, but if your going it should be well worth the cost your going to pay...

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

Still can't kick that communist gene, where everyone loves mother Russia...

"Elect a clown . . . expect a circus"

Truth is . . . Trudeau is a lower IQ bobble-head.

Hitler and Putin are something else.

No, they shoot them in apartment buildings with heavy weapons.

I think the understanding of the average Canadian regarding this situation will be poor to say the least.  And nobody is to blame, other than the media that misrepresents the reality to suit a political or economic agenda.

You had the socialist block fall apart in the late 80's and early 90's, which let some former USSR republics become autonomous, Ukraine and Belarus being some of  them.

The United States used the opportunities to set military bases in countries that belong to the socialist block, tightening  the noose on Russia.   It may be more helpful if they back off and we stopped supporting their predatory regime.

Keep in mind, Ukraine did not fight a war to liberate itself from Russia; they separated on amicable terms,  There are many Russians in Ukraine. You must then ask yourself why they will be going to war now and what changed in the past 30 years.

Communist countries like Russia and China are totally untrustworthy.  They can be brutal dictatorships.  Putin has now put his nuclear regiment on high alert.  The Ukraine found that western freedom and democracy are far preferable to being under the control of the barbaric dictators of Communist Russia.  The Ukraine never went to war.  It was entirely Putin's idea.  The guy is a madman.  He is also a threat to the whole world.

I'm reading it.

You wrote above that nobody is to blame, which is maybe the most ridiculous thing you have written on here.

Oh ? I missed 'other than the media'.   Poor Putin, he must be so glad to have you defending him on here.

I understand clearly what you said.  You support the Communist countries and blame the U.S.  You are a Communist dupe..  Putin is no different that Hitler.  He is a war criminal and you are supporting him.
