This is what the Left in Canada has been reduced to

You're living in an imaginary world of your own making. I denigrate Trumpers, whom I don't think are real conservatives.

The people on the other board that caused you to have a big tantrum are generally centrist and have more varied perspectives than you will find on this board, which has become mostly an alt-right echo chamber.

One with few real conservatives.

That you refer to anyone on this board as 'alt-right' aside from one person, only indicates that everything I've said is absolutely true. You and your ilk believe all conservatives are 'alt-right' unless they accept leftist ideological and social views.

That's incredibly funny. English will be surpassed by French in this century. And you know why? Africans.

Africans are more intelligent than anglophones in Canada. Incredible, isn't it? They're able to learn the language, while you, the pseudo ruling class doesn't have the ability to do so. That's really funny for me.

Learn what language? French? Given the only Africans you guys allow to immigrate are ones from French speaking countries that's not much of a surprise.

Me and my leftist ilk? Why are you allowed to use ridiculously simple generalizations and I'm not?

Are you denying being a leftist? Or is it the 'ilk' you're bothered by? Do you expect politeness when you call everyone 'alt-right'.

It’s true.  You refer to any conservative here as alt-right.  And even before Trump in politics existed, you had no toleration of conservatives or conservative opinions.  So don’t pretend otherwise.

Because the term "alt-right" is American...not Canadian.    Another import ?

Yep, he’s obsessed with American politics, while the leader of his own country pisses all over ethics regulations, treats women like political props, and lies everyday to the media and voters.

Try not to make it about me. Stick to the subject.

If by "Leftist extremists" you mean the Liberal party of Canada then I suppose you're right.

Conservatives aren't interested in making everyone equal. That's a socialist idea. All we want is for government to keep its hands out of our wallets and keep its nose out of what we say and do.

Utter horseshit not to mention grotesquely unprincipled and hypocritical.

Argus like most conservatives have terribly wrongheaded notions about equality of outcomes in the economy.  The point conservatives consistently ignore and the one thing that matters most because of the way it does skew outcomes is the inequality that exists at much of the front end of the economic process - in the backrooms of power where corporations and people of undue influence cajole, bribe and likely threaten on occasion politicians to tilt the economic playing field in their favour.  This is the reason why year after decade after century the income/wealth gap forever grows wider.

Although Argus will bitch, piss and moan on occasion about how unfair it is that his betters should have more political influence than him due to their wealth he'll just as happily write at length about all the Canadians who should be denied their right to vote if they happen to not pay taxes. Like I said, grotesquely unprincipled and hypocritical.

The solution is simple, outlawing in-camera lobbying of politicians but most right-wingers are so goddamned stupid they seem think this is an attack on free speech.  I've heard enough say just that very thing when it comes to cracking the secrecy we afford the wealthy and powerful in our society. Why shouldn't I conclude that there is little to no difference in how conservatives think and that if you've seen one you've probably seen them all? Given the way both parties hoe the same row why shouldn't I lump Liberals and Conservatives together?  They're just opposite sides of the same filthy coin.

I'm just as disgusted that corruption isn't the number one issue in this election but that said if Andrew Sheer promised to outlaw in-camera lobbying I'd vote Conservative.

I don't call everyone "alt-right" (just the ones on this board who are) but you're trying to call everyone on "the Left" Antifa. Read your OP.

Nope...."alt-right" has no meaning in Canada.   It is just an imported American label, devoid of context in Canada.

alt-right exists in UK, exists in Australia.

It exists internationally. In France, Éric Zemmour incarnates the ideology. Internationally, Steve Bannon does.

The term was developed in the United States...by your own wannabe list...it has no Canadian context.

I never agree with eyeball but he has hit the nail on the head with this one ..... , I think both conservative and liberal parties have treated Canadians like we are second class citizens, neither party really has a clue on how to run the country, and yet we the citizens have become shell shocked to this behavior, over exposed into thinking it is actually normal, getting slapped in the ass with a 2 x 4 , and then asking "May I have another sir"... And while Eyeball has made a point to spell out all the conservative wrongs, everything he has said also fits the liberals to a tee, only Justin is taking it to another level ...

The sad thing about all of this is it has become the normal, it is accepted behavior, we shrug our shoulders meh, whats it really matter, ....it really says a lot about us and who we have become...no better really than the dickheads that we put into power, or defend on some forum , like it makes a difference....... Some Canadians are starting to see the light being driven to the far left, or far right looking for change, ....the others well they will continue to shrug their shoulders, pretending everything is normal...keep drinking the kool aid....

I have a policy of no enemies on the right, I don't care what  lefties have to say about it, this is an ideological war, I don't throw anybody on the right under the bus, even if I don't like them.

I'm sure they're happy to have you.

The right is not a monolith, it's not about loving one another,  it's not a hippie commune, team of rivals, none the less,  money talks and bullshit walks, just win, baby.

The left likes to blow sunshine up each others asses and live in an echo chamber, and the second one them doesn't play along, they are thrown under the bus as an alt-right nazi.

The right is a team of rivals who actually call each other out on their bullshit, but won't throw each other under the bus because of a simple difference of opinion.

This is why the right is kicking the lefts ass in America right now. One party turns on itself and shrinks it's base in a purity spiral, the other forms a coalition with like minded people with many disagreements, which results in bigger tent coalition where iron sharpens iron.

Indeed, but why they think that would have any effects on right wing nutjobs is beyond me.

As if I would care about being declaimed as a Nazi, just because I don't subscribe to National Socialism doesn't mean I find it to be taboo.

The Soviets were our stalwart allies in the Second World War, then the Fascists were back on our side in the Cold War; just win, baby.
