They are.

They can't prohibit states from trying to acquire material on their own.  Wow, you really think that Trump has some kind of real dictatorial power huh?

Procurement and distribution are two very different things.    FEMA buys emergency stockpiles, not state level consumption.

Yes, you are making stuff up.  Especially the part of no federal response.  It's a flat out lie.  I'm ignoring you now.  You're posts are complete misinformation.

Unfortunately he doesn't know what the eff he's talking about.  I'm done with his lies and misinformation.

Well, when this is all over, those of us who are still alive will know what to hoard next time.....masks !

Exactly.

Anyways, if anyone's interested in the federal response that Boges claims doesn't exist, here it is.

https://www.usa.gov/coronavirus

Add to this some 10 thousand ventilators sent out to states, as well as tens of millions of gloves, masks and other PPE.

In fact, the U.S. is being accused of buying equipment meant for other countries.  But there's no federal response!

US buys out France-bound Chinese masks right off tarmac

The joke here is that they bought the plane too !

Anyone else find it ironic that Trudeau needs to rely on American imports to provide for Canadians and Canadian hospitals?  Obviously he wasn't at all prepared for any kind of pandemic, and there aren't any kind of strategic stockpiles here.

That does strike me as odd.

I don't have enough grilled cheeses because Shady won't give me any.

In the US presser yesterday this issue of federal stock going out was raised and the FEMA rep responded with:

- one request was for 250 ventilators, when pointed out they don't have any corona cases, they replied that they might need them in the future

- some states don't have any idea how many ventilators/other stock are even in their own states (ie areas not needing them send to areas that do)

- they have a checklist system to determine if requisitions will be filled

Meanwhile there are other things happening in the world you know, besides your on-going virus quarantine. We freemen are able to go out into the world and see what's really happening. The rest of you will have to wait until further information can be provided.

Diane Francis: Oil prices are going to recover — and we have Donald Trump to thank for that

Quote

On Sunday, OPEC and Russia agreed to reduce output by 9.7 million barrels per day in May and June, which is equal to about 10 per cent of global supply. On Monday morning, prices were up around one per cent, but were still around half of what they were a year earlier.

While the price-fixers’ truce may be bumpy, as the oil market indicates, Trump has applied the brakes to the cartel’s pricing power, and with it, the geopolitical clout of its members. And this, as the world climbs out of the coronavirus calamity, is a positive reform because energy is the lifeblood of all economies.

I'll keep to the all encompassing Trump thread instead of the dozens that are popping up.

Stephen Miller's wife has COVID19! She's an aide to Mike Pence.

The only way they can justify not having Trump, Pence and everyone in the White House under Quarantine is because they say they're testing every day.

Apparently Fauci and the Head of the CDC are under Quarantine!

That's funny. Because Trump is also minimizing the value of broad testing across the country. They're trying to open parts of the country as cases are spiking without any avenue to test.

This is a classic example of Cart Before Horse.

A National Testing program is hard, telling people to go to work and sacrifice their health is easy.

No it's not....some states are finding that ramped up testing capacity is not being matched by demand.   People are not flocking to the testing tents or walk-in clinics in necessary sampling numbers to meet the statistical models proposed for reopening.

White House staffers can be tested multiple times per day.

Can you cite that?

There is no where to store the oil. This is the reason they are cutting back plain and simple.

That's the problem with expanded testing...not enough sampling can be done if people are not allowed to be tested.   Governments are going to have to change an already confusing message to get proper sampling of all groups.

But there's a finite number of tests.

Right now governments are rationing them.

The goal if we're going to have try and determine the public's exposure is an anti-body test. But no reliable test has reached mass market.

But the same problem would occur....there is a mismatch for testing criteria and expanded capacity.

I believe that you make up way too much leftist liberal nonsense for anyone with any common sense and logic to want to believe or swallow anymore.  You obviously are very anti-Trump, and just like the anti-Trump American and Canadian medias. You and they will look for anything you and they can find and say or do to try and come up with something negative to attack and mock Donald Trump on. It is just an automatic reaction with you/they in the fake and phony American media. If Trump said it looks like it is going to be a nice sunny day today, the lying media will say, no it's not, the weather is going to be overcast today. Usually, the American lying media always end up making big asses of themselves again, and the sun did shine that day.

The American media has to always go the opposite to what Trump says. They must never say anything positive and good about Trump. Trump must always appear to be a negative person and always to be portrayed as the big bad bogeyman of the world. So far, those fake and phony so called journalists, they appear more like Hollywood actors now, are still losing their war with Trump. No pity from me for those bunch of loser in the media buffoons.

I've never seen a man so brilliant and so stupid at the same time as Trump.  He's quite the character.

He could have gone down as a great POTUS if he wasn't so ignorant and arrogant.

Stop hallucinating in here.

President Trump is brilliant and he is quite the character plus he is already a great POTUS and history will solidify this fact.
