  1. https://www.jihadwatch.org/2012/08/did-the-muslim-brotherhood-invent-the-term-islamophobia https://newrepublic.com/article/81178/the-invention-islamophobia http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/viewSubCategory.asp?id=777 I wonder how much hate is promoted in supposed places of worship all over the world? Are there not too many examples of jihad being promoted in these places of worship?
  2. I think the fear is that eventually Canada will end up like Europe, with Muslim enclaves with little or no integration and high crime areas. It's the failure of multiculturalism. http://news.nationalpost.com/full-comment/europes-no-go-zones-inside-the-lawless-ghettos-that-breed-and-harbour-terrorists http://www.nationalreview.com/article/443268/germany-islamist-enclaves-europe-jihad-terrorism-problem-growing http://www.lifezette.com/polizette/hundreds-muslim-no-go-zones-take-root-europe/
  3. So you clearly have no problem with North Korea's constant saber rattling over many decades, not to mention the brutal treatment of it's own people? But now that there may be a leader in the White House who will not be as passive as the one before him that bothers you? North Korea is the problem.
  4. John Robson will be doing a documentary on climate change that should be very interesting. http://www.thejohnrobson.com/ Just doing a quick search on how long it takes to charge an electric car tells me that it can vary from 30 mins to as long as 12 hrs.Given that all the inherent problems with electric cars have not been worked out yet,I hope it's a very long time before the combustion engine get's banned in Canada.I too would like to see more development of our oil resources.
  5. Yes!
  6. Admiral Yamamoto was correct when he made his comment about awakening a sleeping giant and filling him with a terrible resolve or words to that effect. It was a different time and mindset in those days.President Truman was not bound by political correctness either. The enormous loss of civilian lives was horrible of course, but there can be little doubt that a huge number of Allied soldiers were saved by the use of atomic bombs.
  7. Chong supports M103 and carbon taxes. That alone tells me all I need to know about him and his mindset. The Conservatives can do much better than to choose him.
  8. It is a very good idea to have a dash cam these days.Don't go cheap either, get one that's HD.Sometimes I wish I had one pointing out the rear window as well, what with all these boneheads tailgating.
  9. That sounds like you're describing theater and not real accomplishments. However, theater is Justin Trudeau's strong point. He does ok when reading from a script but not so well without one. I think Canada will be worse off after Trudeau's finished.
  10. Here is an interesting link on some aspects of Sharia, written by a Muslim. https://counterjihad.com/women Please note that the author does mention the verses to back up his claims. So does it really say these things in the Koran or not?
  11. ISIS? ISIL?What does the "I" stand for?Any thoughts as to why suicide bombers/terrorists shout out "Allahu Akbar" before they commit their dastardly deeds? If you're happy under Sharia law good for you,but I'll stick with Western style democracy/law thank you very much.
  12. As much as I don't like Wynne and her fellow Liberals,I still think she will pull off yet another victory in the next election. And another majority at at that! There are clearly way more failures than successes yet most voters can't seem to connect the dots.I wish I could be more optimistic.Voting NDP is out of the question for me and I am not totally sold on Patrick Brown either(carbon tax).
  13. I honestly can't quote anything from the Koran. But the fact remains,if the Koran is not open to widely different interpretations, how do you explain the existence of radical Islam? How about moderate Muslims? Are Muslims treated equally all over the world? Are some Muslim countries much stricter than others? You might want to read about Tarek Fatah.
  14. Part of the problem with Islam is that no matter what the verses might say or not say, they are very clearly wide open to interpretation.
  15. I think this reinforces the notion that the Liberals believe Canadian citizenship is a right, not a privilege.Apparently no obligations come with Canadian citizenship either.
  16. I'm certainly not a Trudeau supporter but I'm pleased that he dropped this plan. Our current system isn't perfect but it has served us pretty well.Under a proportional representation system I would be concerned about fringe parties having too much power.I consider the Green Party to be in the fringe/radical groups out there.I don't want someone like Elizabeth May to have any more power than she has now.
  17. The Ontario Liberals have been spending like mad for a long time now supposedly to lift the economy. We are a have-not province and our economy is in the toilet. It's not working but I would argue that it's mainly to do with idiotic spending decisions.
  18. You want this lady to live within her means and that's a fair point. How about governments?Do you also want them to live(spend)within their means?
  19. There probably was a time when she was working 15hrs a day with the four kids, but these cost's keep going up and up under progressive governments. She is being left behind.
  20. It's good that he's going around and speaking to Canadians. However,I believe he will just tune out anything negative comments and most of what we see might be the softball questions from his fan base. He should bloody well listen......and fire Gerald Butts!
  21. After four years,I'm guessing that Trudeau will have added something like 100-120 billion more in debt.I think our economic growth over this period will be rather slow as well.More businesses will go south to the US where the business climate will be much more enticing. I have a faint hope that there will be some in Trudeau's inner circle that are pragmatic enough to understand that the Liberal's current path won't turn out well.I refer mainly to carbon taxes/cap and trade policies which Trump won't implement. I believe that no matter how bad things may be at the end of Trudeau's first term,he will still be very popular and will get another majority.
  22. I can assure you that any tax breaks from Trudeau will be dwarfed by his carbon taxes, which really will raise the price of just about everything.
  23. Because it's the Liberals that are talking about this plan,it seems to me that the real reason behind it is not to spur economic growth, but to inflate the number of people that are highly likely to vote Liberal.
  24. Abuse of taxpayer dollars and loose interpretations of already vague rules is not exclusively limited to Conservatives. It's morally wrong no matter who does it,and this sort of thing was going on well before Harper became PM.
  25. The bottom line is,progressives see absolutely nothing wrong with these Liberal "mole hills" because we are talking about the Liberals after all. The Ottawa Citizen buried this in the back pages, unlike the front page negative headlines they always printed for the Conservatives.Just saying...
