  1. Conspiracy theorists have had a field day with this one.I have seen tons of documentaries about it and have come to the conclusion...........one man,one shooter,Lee Harvey Oswald.
  2. I have to wonder how good the vetting process will be and what,if any, reliable database there is for these people. http://news.nationalpost.com/news/even-syrian-refugees-agree-it-is-not-easy-to-identify-the-fakes http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/11/easy-buy-syrian-passport-facebook-151121124233394.html http://pamelageller.com/2015/11/pew-poll-between-63-million-and-287-million-isis-supporters-in-just-11-countries-13-of-syria-refugees-isis-sympathizers.html/
  3. It's always called "renewable"energy, but I think "intermittent" energy is more accurate.
  4. It's scary to think of just how far left you would prefer the government to be.You show just how far left you are if you don't think Canadians earning between 45000-100000 are not paying their fair share of taxes. If you were paying attention at all you might be aware there will be some hefty taxes coming to most Canadians in the form of carbon taxes, rich and poor alike. I think even someone like you would admit the Ontario Liberals are pretty far left,so why is Ontario swirling in the toilet? They keep hiking taxes, they have raised the minimum wage, electricity prices are skyrocketing etc, what gives?
  5. How about the Quebec model for booze?
  6. The openness and transparency means Trudeau only want his government to appear this way,As always, the decisions will be made behind closed doors and I think it's pretty clear that Trudeau will take his marching orders from far left progressives. I know why morale would be higher in the public service now. It's because the era of big spending, wasteful, bloated government is back in force.Trudeau will take the same path as Kathleene Wynne,we in Ontario know how that is working out.
  7. None of the Republican candidates are perfect of course, but personally I would rather see any one of them as President rather than Clinton.I thought Trump's numbers wouldn't be this high for so long.I don't agree with everything Trump says but on the other hand,it's kind of refreshing that he's in no way politically correct.I think it may be Cruz that gets the nomination in the end.
  8. What's happening in Ontario and Alberta will now happen across the country. This is "progressive" government.Prime Minister Trudeau and co-Prime Minster Gerald Butts have already made it clear they will pile up huge amounts of debt for years to come.
  9. I think Trudeau has a lot going for him as far as what's important to progressives. The looks, the charm, the selfies. These things clearly greatly impress his supporters.I think this far left Liberal government is still in the honeymoon stage which I admit, will be a very long honeymoon given the love and admiration from the mainstream media. So his popularity is high. Can you name his greatest, most important accomplishment to date? Why isn't Elizabeth(frequent flyer)May Prime Minister now?
  10. I wonder how many of them are actually from Syria?
  11. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-debate/the-climate-talks-we-want-to-feel-good-about-ourselves/article27535885/ I think this sums up the conference pretty well.
  12. I think the trade agreements actually do have some tangible benefits, unlike just handing over billions no strings attached in the name of climate change.I do think Trudeau is fully committed to playing the climate change game. This means that he and other progressive leaders in Canada will quickly implement carbon taxes(gas, heating oil, natural gas.propane)which will raise the prices on everything.
  13. Between the oil sands and Chinese/Indian emissions, which one has the bigger impact?
  14. I think the whole climate change/global warming movement has very little to do with the actual climate. It's more to do with the transfer of wealth from the West to developing nations and of course, most of that wealth will end up in the hands of the leaders. As for the oil sands,Trudeau doesn't have to do anything.Rachel Notley....need I say more?
  15. Setting fire to a mosque is not acceptable, nor is attacking a Muslim on the street for no reason. These people will be called out on it for their behavior. It's a real pity the same cannot be said for Muslim behavior towards" infidels" in the Arab world.
  16. Since the election has passed, the media coverage of Trudeau is almost exactly like I expected it to be.With very few exceptions,so-called journalists, not only in Canada but all over the world, have been shameless in their admiration of Trudeau. It's pretty pathetic, but Canada now has it's own royal family, the Trudeau's.He kind of reminds me of any typical red carpet celebrity, posing for the fans. I hate to say it,but Trudeau might just be unbeatable for a very long time,at least until he becomes bored with the job just as he has always done prior to this. Real journalists are in the minority now.
  17. I agree with you,all the parties want to achieve the same thing basically but not on how to do it.That is why I have voted for the Conservatives. All parties of the same name are of course not the same,a lot depends on the leader.Justin Trudeau reminds me too much of Kathleen Wynne in that he is promising to run deficits and pile up more debt, not to mention the green energy thing. It's not working in Ontario and it won't work for Canada. http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2015/10/09/unemployment-canada-september-2015_n_8268758.html
  18. I wonder why so many are are absolutely outraged over what Harper is considering about this niqab issue?Where was the same amount of outrage in 2010 in Quebec? Were you ok with it because it was a Liberal government that did it? http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2010/03/24/quebec_bans_niqab_from_government_services.html
  19. Maybe I'll regret asking you this, but in your mind ,which "Christian"government do you compare to the Taliban or ISIL?
  20. What is the Christian equivalent of the Taliban or ISIS?
  21. I concede that all Liberal governments are not the same.If we take everything Trudeau has said during this campaign into account, past and present, the evidence clearly suggests he will govern more like Kathleen Wynne than Christy Clark. I would vote for Christy Clark if I lived in BC. I wouldn't wish a Trudeau/Wynne like leader on anyone.
  22. All of Trudeau's gaffes don't seem to have hurt him too much in the long term.If anyone listens to what he states about our economy,it's clear he's kind of clueless. What is the matter with society today when likeability and looks often will trump competence in the positions that truly matter?Trudeau is better suited for E-talk than politics.
  23. Yes,I just can't wait for the federal government to return to deficit, billions more in green energy etc. He'll run the country exactly like Kathleen Wynne runs Ontario. It amazes me how many Canadians will vote based on emotion and not reason.
  24. I like to think I'm voting for a party rather than against one I don't support.I don't care what the polls say,I will cast my vote for the party I believe will be best suited to lead this country. My vote will not be based on mindless hatred against one party leader or celebrity status of another.
  25. I wonder how many people in Ontario who are also critical of Harper's economic record gleefully voted for Kathleen Wynne and Dalton McGuinty?
