  1. Nobody is suggesting Canada admit only white people. But out of all the other countries and different cultures in this world, can you honestly say that all people from those countries and cultures are a perfect fit for our western democratic society.Or do some integrate better and easier than others?Immigration policy should be used for the benefit of the country as a whole and not for the benefit of a political party.
  2. Canada's immigration system wasn't great under Harper although they very slowly tried to plug up some loopholes. There is every indication that the system will get much worse under Trudeau. http://www.candicemalcolm.com/2016/05/will-grits-stop-immigration-fraud/ http://www.candicemalcolm.com/2016/04/trudeaus-citizenship-policies-are-about-scoring-votes/
  3. According to Brian Lilley,Bill Morneau also has some ties to Delaware and the Bahamas.I have only heard about it on Rebel Media so far.
  4. An interesting take on the Tesla from bnn.ca.They say it's possible for large numbers of these cars to actually cause emissions to rise. http://www.bnn.ca/News/2016/4/8/All-charged-up-Will-demand-for-Teslas-Model-3-overwhelm-the-electricity-grid-.aspx
  5. How would a car like this perform when it's -25 celcius, that's what I wonder.
  6. I haven't given much thought to their similarities before. Both are born into wealth, both are celebrities although Trump is perhaps more notorious. Both of these guys have enormous egos and love to be in front of cameras. One way that they are different is that Trump is not afraid to say what's on his mind, however politically incorrect it may be(and I don't believe he's racist either).Trudeau just keeps repeating politically correct, feel good mumbo jumbo that appeals to his fans, and I do mean fans.
  7. I hope Canada will continue to stand by the only true democracy in the Middle East. http://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/.premium-1.647598
  8. There won't be too much media coverage of this ongoing story, and nobody will be placed in shackles if convicted.
  9. Don't forget that the price of electricity is rising too.I can't say electric cars won't play a big role in our future, but they won't be cheap.I suppose after the environmentalists have killed off all fossil fuel cars they will go after electric cars(batteries in landfills),that sort of thing.
  10. Governments often defend the act of piling up debt as merely investing in growth for the country. The whole point of investing is to get a positive return at some point. All we end up getting is more debt and more interest payments.Live it up now and let someone else pay for it later right?
  11. More often than not, these attacks seem to be carried out by people of a certain faith.
  12. Oh yeah,no Keystone ,and no oil pipelines of any kind in Canada either.
  13. If Trump get's the nomination,I think Clinton will win handily.I do think Clinton and Sanders would both be an awful choice for President.Trump has his share of baggage too.
  14. Four years from now,the feds will likely have added something like 40-60 billion more in debt, perhaps more. Our electoral system may have been changed by then to stack the deck in favour of the Liberals.I do hope our economy improves by then of course, but I don't hold much confidence in Trudeau based on what I have seen so far. Also, even if things haven't improved four years from now in any way,I predict another easy Trudeau majority win.
  15. Another huge problem with so called green/renewable energy is that it's really expensive and needs big taxpayer subsidies.14 years is too optimistic in my opinion.
  16. Do you think solar will power ships, trucks, planes, trains in 14 years?
  17. How does Elizabeth May get from Ottawa to BC?I wonder how big her carbon footprint is with all her frequent flyer miles. We will need oil for a very long time like it or not.Why not Canadian oil?
  18. Pipelines should be on his list, that would be a lot of bang for the buck. But that kind of infrastructure won't be built with Gerald Butts pulling Trudeau's strings.Billions upon billions will be pissed away by this government.
  19. Things are going to get progressively more expensive here in Canada,no doubt about it.
  20. He umm, speaks a bit umm, differently than umm,his father. Too bad that he,umm, has to learn the, umm, ropes while holding, umm, the job of ,umm,Prime Minister. Seriously,I don't consider him an idiot by any stretch, but I still don't think he is the best person for the job. Most popular celebrity in Canada at the moment, yes he is.
  21. So did Trudeau meet his deadline for the 25000 refugees? Is he going to meet his 10 billion deficit target? Seems the evidence is on my side so far. And what, precisely, does Trudeau have control over as Prime Minister. Harper got blamed for everything under the sun, real and imagined. Why should the great Justin Trudeau be insulated from any and all criticism?
  22. I think the platform of the federal Liberals is like that of the Ontario Liberals. So far, things don't look encouraging.Trudeau promised to bring in 25000 Syrian refugees by a certain date. His critics said it couldn't be done properly and they were correct,Trudeau was wrong.Another big promise was 10 billion dollar deficits for three years. He will certainly exceed that in his first year at the very least. This is another part of his platform that he didn't think through. To be fair to Trudeau,he only deserves part of the blame as the the one that is making many key decisions is Gerald Butts.
  23. Can any Liberal supporter explain how Ontario is better off after all these years of piling up massive debt?
  24. The entire Green Energy Act should be scrapped,it will not benefit Ontario. We could have met our energy needs by reaching a deal with Quebec for starters. Our neighbors must be laughing at Ontario. Now Canada is being led by someone who thinks exactly like Wynne/McGuinty.
  25. The more money the government gets, the more likely they are to squander it.High taxes are not helpful in a struggling economy.Lowering taxes will encourage people to spend and invest more.
