Charges finally laid in the Ontario Gas Plant Scandal
ironstone replied to Boges's topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
One would hope that important people in government would want to be very meticulous with regards to record keeping as they are often involved in decisions that are extremely important and costly. One might also think that if these same people wanted to wipe out all traces of these records, the reason is that they have something to hide.If everything was done on the up and up,what possible reason could there be to wipe these hard drives? -
I'm grateful you didn't post any links to Christian suicide bombers,Christians beheading, burning, drowning people, etc.

These activists do have a right to protest peacefully but they should not have the right to disrupt anyone else in doing so.They should also be thrown in jail when they commit acts of vandalism.Normally they just get a mild slap on the wrist.I suspect most of them have no idea what's it like to actually have to earn an honest living.Too bad it's not possible to cut off their (foreign)funding completely.

Change of government and change of the leader is not the same thing.Wynne was a new leader ,but leader of the same old, corrupt Liberals. -

You are partially correct, all I can prove is how bad the Green Energy Program has been for Ontario. http://www.thestar.com/news/queenspark/2015/12/02/ontario-consumers-likely-paying-billions-extra-for-hydro-one-decisions-auditor-general.html -
Jobs and the economy to take a back seat to environment
ironstone replied to Argus's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Your link says these Tesla in-home batteries don't actually have enough capacity to run everything in a home, unless there are many more of them. And the cost ranges from $3000 to $3500 each. That's in US dollars by the way. -

You still didn't answer my question -
I would hazard a guess that many of these protesters don't have real jobs.

I don't think Trudeau will listen to his allies on this matter. He get's his advice on the middle east from people like Omar Alghabra. -

http://www.calgarysun.com/2015/11/24/notley-ndp-dancing-around-why-they-rolled-out-carbon-tax-the-way-they-did http://www.edmontonsun.com/2015/11/25/ndp-climate-plan-looks-more-like-a-sales-tax This will cost Albertan's billions more in taxes.1/3 replacement through natural gas, good so far.2/3 through renewables?I presume that means wind and solar. What backs that up when the wind doesn't blow or the sun doesn't shine?Sounds very much like the same Liberal stupidity we have here in Ontario. -
Alberta's climate change policy announced.
ironstone replied to a topic in Provincial Politics in Canada
The NDP will aggressively implement their climate change policy, just like the Liberals here in Ontario.Albertans now have to expect rather hefty hikes for electricity and all fossil fuels....and so the cost of just about everything will go up. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/alberta-credit-rating-downgraded-standard-poors-1.3372471 -

A 17$ glass of orange juice got more outrage from the left than this gas plant scandal, how typical. -

This will likely drag on for years.Wynne was campaign co chair when this happened wasn't she?For her to claim total she knew nothing defies belief.
