This nonsense was common under Biden and were able to get away with it. Early reports indicate it was woke CNN news anchor Don Lemon who instigated3 points

This is exactly what I signed up for. After all the lawfare Biden engaged in, with arresting a Pro-Life father in front of his family with an heavily armed FBI team for their made up violation of the FACE act, I want to see Trump doing this all day long to the left. Lets make sure we send the armed FBI SWAT team to his house in the eariy morning. Lets make sure to leak that arrest to the press too.2 points

Oh, everything is a pie. You can't do two things at the same time. Bow to Can'tsevative reasoning. We should be sending troops as a show and even better show if some were Inuit Rangers. It's not the other side of the world, it's next door,2 points

Here's an ICE agent literally telling protesters that they are being impeded from arresting a child sex offender. Leftists...trying...to...protect...a child sex offender.2 points

The article is very well written and researched. Essentially, trillions are sent to non profits via government spending. Those NGO's consist of temporary and permanent nonprofits that funnel money to bypass laws. Sometimes they sue the government's into submission. Sometimes they use brute force or overwhelming numbers. In any case, they are devoid of oversight. Long read, but worth it.2 points

I go to the ones that produce the studies. That's not the MSM. Ummmm, no. I read the studies. Maybe there is someone else here that can explain the difference between the MSM and the internet to you. 🙄 But it suddenly makes sense now, why you think everything you see or hear on TV is true. This is the most bizarre conversation I've ever had. I know the difference between MSM and the Internet. You clearly do not.1 point

It's hilarious that you think that's my fault.1 point

If that's what you think I meant from my comment it's clear it hit a nerve. It's a wonder you even have one to hit. BTW where did you find all these peer reviewed medical studies, the Internet by chance? So......MSM. 🤣 🙄1 point

I don't really see Trump as a 'front man' type of President. He's certainly no Joe Biden. He appoints advisors who think exactly the same way he does. Which in my opinion is not a good thing. Basically, he's just doing the same thing as China's been doing in trying to gain influence in strategic and resource rich parts of the world. Only he's a little more rough around the edges.1 point

The whole concept is so illegal, immoral and absurd it can only be a concerted distraction from something godawful that will collapse the current administration. How stupid do you have to be to think China is a threat to Greenland? Or Russia even. Oe to ignore the fact they've let the US military do pretty much whatever they want in Greenland? Or beyond all sensibility; looking at the treatment of Indigenous people in the USA that they'll be better off. Time to study the Constitution to find out how to legally remover both the President and the VP and fire all the current staff because the US will be threatened b enemies if the people take to the streets like Iran.1 point

The majority of Canadians and Americans of both sides of the aisle are essentially on the same page when it comes to being "anti-discrimination of all forms". For the most part, we only differ when it comes to anti-white discrimination. The majority of leftists support discrimination against whites, as well as slander/libel. You had your chance to speak out against Trudeau's vile libel against the unvaxed and you opted to endorse it, without any evidence that it was actually a legitimate criticism.1 point

No it does not. Japan can contain China on its own and has decided to become bedfellows with the Americans. China has no shortage of enemies, particularly its neighbors. So not only does geography work against China but the second and third most powerful naval power are already close allies with America. Give up the ghost. Europe is a liability for America like it or not. This century was the first century that China could export its way to wealth (and many of the third world) . Built on American back security umbrella and global free trade of the seas (yeah you all seem to forget this fact)! The world needs America , not the other way around. You all would rather raid and pirate each other shipping if left to your own devices like the 19th century. And to drive the American point, you NATO deadbeats have the least to contribute and everything to whine about America.1 point

Are we Canadians in any position to cast stones on such a matter? Very bad things happened in the past in Greenland. That’s no excuse for colonialism now. That’s a little off-topic.1 point

I never said they were not untaxed. Yes, congress is responsible. I am saying they are abdicating their duties (best case) or complicit (worst/most likely case). When I say they are "unelected, unregulated and unaccountable", I mean to the citizens of the United States, not congress. Now that your straw man is gone, fo you want to answer the question? Why are you seemingly supporting this unelected, unregulated and unaccountable fourth branch of government?1 point

1. Well... search would have to work on this site for either of us to make statements about what I have said about China with regards to their environmental program. I don't even remember myself. 2. I was being a bit flippant, I concur. They do deliver some things though. Their middle class grew while ours was destroyed for one that. It's possible to have both opinions in your mind that China does things for its citizens, and China is a repressive government model that no civilized nation should pursue. Why not say so ?1 point

1. 2. I didn't say anything about the accuracy of your opinion on current DEI. I don't agree with what you said but I'm not going to discuss those opinions of yours. 3. No, I'm more interested in how you see this conspiracy having developed, given that you implied it had value at the beginning. 4. I accept that YOU think it's a cabal. The nine issues you highlighted earlier aren't evidence of a cabal. Cabal is defined as "a secret political clique or faction." There is no evidence of a secret clique provided. 5. You mentioned TNI after the 9-issues post and I didn't respond. I looked up what it is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transnational_Institute Seems like another org like WEF, not secret at all. Just an organization that says things that you and others disagree with. 6. Ok, I'm definitely not talking about vaccines here... we're talking about DEI. 7. I don't know about this incident and if Elon banned someone from posting stuff on Twitter that he doesn't like, that matches what I read on the back of his TechBro trading card so I don't have anything to say on that either. I don't get why you seem to be getting mad with me on this: I accept that you have different opinions than me and I'm not trying to convince YOU otherwise. I'm just trying to understand how you believe a global conspiracy of corporations, governments, groups and the general public developed from something you believe to have had a noble goal at the start. Maybe I'm just not using the right language here. Let me know, I appreciate your perspective.1 point

He's hardly young. Look eyeball...you're espousing the same nonsense the warhawks have always said about Ukraine. The REALITY is, nobody in NATO can stand up to the USA either militarily or financially. Most of Canada is US owned. The European nations are broke and have worse internal issues than the USA. NATO is about to lose Ukraine and it's credibility along with it. The EU is falling apart. And the icing on the cake...Isreal is in freak out mode. No eyeball. Nothing can stop the inevitable reality. But there is a silver lining. Nobody's wailing away about the climate BS anymore.1 point

Listen, what is the point of your even commenting here when you post absolute drivel like "no reason at all" We have already established there was a reason. Objectively, the facts show that the officer fired at her as she was driving her vehicle towards him. So, your brilliant argument is that shooting her did not stop her (it 100% did as she is dead and was shot multiple times) but pepper spray would have? Somehow magically pepper spray would go through the windshield? Listen, you clealry do not have much understanding or knowledge of weapons or use of force or deadly force. A vehicle coming at you is deadly force, you do not respond to that with less than lethal pain compliance pepper spray.1 point

This is only your imagination. You are the broke nation - poverty all over the place; national debt totally out of control. The only way you still survive is by military threats, intimidation and theft of other countries resources and land. So, yes, I have to come to the conclusion that 2 out of 3 Americans were willing to elect a convict with no moral compass of any kind. What did you expect would happen? This speaks volumes about the whole "nation".1 point

Trump is a seething bag of vanity, resentment and greed. To try and find strategic policy in his reflexive actions is a fool’s errand. Suffice to say, he is helping rather than countering China’s influence around the world. The crisis in Greenland is entirely of his making, a serious problem for America and Europe where none previously existed. Europe should respond with both stick and carrot. A big tax on the tech bros will bring them to the White House pronto. He can’t ignore them. They deserve it too. Couple that with a fleshed out alternative to Trump’s proposed piracy that gives America everything it can reasonably need.1 point

If the people who worked and continue to work so hard to shame us with our history had any integrity or honesty, they'd have a look around the world that existed during those times and be forced to admit that, for their times, our ancestors were a lot better than almost everyone else's ancestors. What warts we have are tiny compared to those of other countries. As for changing history. The past may be many things, but it is clearly irrevocable. Its sins can no more be purged than its achievements can be expunged. Those who suffered in centuries past are as much beyond our help as those who sinned are beyond our retribution". - Thomas Sowell1 point

Give me a break! All you guys have been doing is whining: "Carney can't get any deals" "Where's the results?" And now that he's got a deal that will help most provinces, you're still whining. Agriculture - how many provinces does that help? Seafood - how many provinces does that help? More transport of goods- railway and port business - how many provinces does that help? WTF is wrong with you? If Peepee had made this deal, you'd be creamin' your jeans!1 point

Automakers in Canada manufacture from 1.4 million to 1.9 million vehicles in Canada. This deal with China to get them to take the massive tariffs off of canola and other things in exchange for allowing China to ship 49,000 EVs to Canada was a good deal for Canada. 49,000 is only about 3% or less of the number of cars manufactured in Canada. The canola industry is a major industry supporting tens of thousands of jobs. Every deal requires give and take. Canada got a good deal with this. Ford and the like should quit complaining about nothing.1 point

Something Carney said "We take the world as it is, not as we wish it to be." comes about as close to one that's congruent with the times. Ironically enough it verges on bring unprincipled too given the fact we're bound to be stuck having to hold our noses a few times. I guess it'll be up to each consumer or supplier to place ethical premiums and discounts as they see fit. It's not like we haven't been doing that with other super-rogues. Now people just shit on one another for their economic choices. Tesla's, Stellantis, and BYDs will all be subject to being keyed and kicked.1 point
