Selective assimilation, yes that’s the word. Immigration does not mean blanket immigration from every p!ss poor third world. Nor does it mean America has to assimilate every culture. Diversity of culture isn’t a strength, it’s a recipe for balkanization and ethnic cleansing. Diversity of ideas is a strength, don’t conflate the two, don’t be a leftist.3 points

A culture being forced on you doesn’t mean you have to do the things… It means they change the laws of your city to have public calls to prayer throughout the day, not that you have to pray, but the culture has been changed. Or perhaps now rape goes up or is tolerated more - not that you have to rape people, but now more women are subjected to this… Catching on?2 points

Carney has moved to the right, creating political space on the left for the NDP, Greens and BQ to fill if they can. Poilievre would be better off avoiding games in parliament that make him look unserious if noticed at all and letting the tensions in the Liberal party play out. Furthermore, he needs to rebuild his credibility as a mature politician worthy of running the country. Like resilience, restraint, and energy, patience is one of those vital political virtues that are less talked about but no less important. The PM has very little political experience and will make lots of mistakes. There’s no need to manufacture controversy.2 points

Conservative Amendment Defeated Yet another proof that PeePee can't do anything but play stoopid political games, waste Parliament's time and Candians' money and another reason why Canadians don't like him and he'll never be PM. He will always sit at the kid's table in Canadion politics.2 points

Now that's the biggest lie and the stoopidest thing anybody has said on this forum! Anybody who thinks Trump isn't a conman has lost touch with reality!2 points

Wow. No. There's nowhere in my city, the largest in Canada, where I wouldn't walk. If you think America is the same you're lying or delusional.1 point

No more or less than I expect from Carney. I mean, they can't help but be transparent on some level. I always keep a salt grinder handy.1 point

He didn't watch the committee meetings AND didn't read the Juno article, which says the info came from the committee meetings, but he still has to jump in and spew his uninformed opinion. 12-year-olds never recognize when they're making themselves look like id10ts. "Hey, everybody! Look at meeeeeeee!!! Look at meeeeeee!!"1 point

The actual source is the committee meetings. I watched this exchange yesterday. What you should be asking is why CBC never reports news that comes out of the committee meetings.1 point

This is about 90 percent of his arguments. When he paints himself into a corner he'll try to turn the conversation into a debate about the meaning or definition of a word and focus on that, hoping everyone will forget what they were really talking about. LIke I said, he'll claim "I never said evidence, what i said was it's apperen from the available body of facts or information indicating whether a belief or proposition is true or valid. Yeah, that's the definition of evidence. And he'll argue that for 10 pages because now you're not talking about what he knew he was wrong about before.1 point

A regular guy, who when questioned about grocery prices, chuckled and said he hasn't bought groceries in decades and when questioned about dealing with the tariff situation said "Who cares?" He has more in common with Trump than Polievre does.1 point

No. Just no. A liberal would not want a useless and ineffective experimental medical procedure forced on millions of people for a flu with a slightly higher IFR than the seasonal flu, who have no need of it, especially children and pregnant women and advocate for them to lose their jobs, go to jail, have their children taken away and be locked down for 2 years. You should just face the fact that you are a gullible useful id10t, highly susceptible to propaganda, who completely believes in submission to government, as long as it's the Liberal party.1 point

Amazing how you make an assertion and can’t seem to back it up with any kind of argument1 point

I have no indigenous leader as they have no authority, whether they're being subsidized or not. And no, specific to the BNA act, the federal government has complete jurisdiction when it comes to pipelines. Nothing has been downloaded. Not sure where you're getting that, other than to make excuses for Carney when nothing gets built.1 point
-
eyeball: "I don't support the Liberals at all, but I do support all their policies and I am 100% against everybody who ISN'T them." 🤪1 point
-
Even if Carney is PM for another 10+ more years or so, does anyone really believe any new pipelines will actually be built? Of all the countries in the world lucky enough to have proven oil reserves, Canada stands out as the one place where it is now virtually the most difficult to build the pipelines. Same goes for many major projects. Indigenous approval for everything. Nothing gets done unless chiefs and band councils get paid off? Other oil producing nation have to be laughing at us.1 point

They weren’t changes, it was literally taken from the MOU, word for word. And the LIEberals voted against it! 😂 No, there were no changes. The entire motion was lifted word for word from the MOU! 😂1 point

Probably more like seniors...it's hard to give much of a fùck anymore...figuratively speaking. The big popcorn gallery in the sky beckons. You're looking at it backwards. These people have little to no control over their economic fate, that's they have as many children as possible. To ensure there'll be as many hands working to scrape together everything the family needs, especially the elders pumping out the kids. Ideally the tides of good fortune should have lifted all boats a lot more equally than less so there'd be less people. Civilization is going to collapse alright. Yup. Let me guess, you're okay Jack? Welcome to the gallery! Got popcorn?1 point

Meh...Trump is starting a tour to promote his actions to date...and the Libbies are pissy-pants about it. Before this tour is done, they'll be so outraged that they'll be doing laundry daily. It'll be fun guys...youll see. 😇1 point

Yet, again, there are differing interpretations based on what is actually occurring, underscored by ideological disparities. The Liberals barely passed their last confidence vote and have been rather uneasy in terms of their stability. I believe Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab was faced with accusations about her "terrible" qualities as Minister, demonstrating extensive polarization levels.1 point

Hungary has done this. Have a certain number of children and you're exempt from income taxes for life. I think it's fairly recent, so not sure if the effects, good or bad, have had enough time to develop. But since affordability is the #1 reason given for not having a family, it seems like a good program.1 point

Prices did not increase so they did not pass it on. The importers ate the cost because the market would not allow for a price increase. What is hilarious here is that people like you demanded that we make the rich pay more in taxes and this effectively did that and y'all are still bìtching.1 point
