Nothing captures the gullibility better than arguing things like the survivors of the 'double tap' boat were trying to flip it upright again. While most likely injured from the first tap and with about 700 lbs of outboard engines hanging off the stern not to mention the weight of the hull and fuel...? LMAO! Its worse than gullibility its outright willful ignorance and suspension of disbelief.2 points

Yeah, for sure. Context does matter. The fact that Trump isn't a teenager, and is the President of the United States, makes his 5 hour shitposting sessions all the more ridiculous. No, you're such a pathetic Trump asslicker that you'll defend basically anything he does or says. 🤡2 points

160 Social Media posts over 5 hours (once every two minutes) would raise concerns over mental health in a teenager. For a 79 year old President of the United States (who presumably has more important things to do with his time), do you view this is as reasonable behavior?2 points

When he was campaigning in 2024, Trump said he would defeat inflation and make America affordable again. Now, he says of affordability, “It doesn’t mean anything to anybody…The word affordability is a con job by the Democrats.” The only con is him. His administration is locking up the economic data while he builds a shiny new ballroom – not a winning message. His decadence and indifference to the plight of the American people will spell his doom. “It’s the economy, stupid.” The video at the link below is a good example of his cluelessness. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DR2UiCejsEb/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==1 point

I'd admit the military is a bigoted society. I'd also admit that leadership and management skills are totally different - an individual in the capacity of leadership is expected to lead. On the other hand a manager is expected to make decisions The Military is in some respects a great vehicle to use in grooming society - it's regimented, it is portable and argument can immediately be met with punishment in a variety of ways. The military should never be political ........ it should be apolitical in it's actions. Service members, depending on the type of service can reside for months in close contact..........leadership is essential - a leader must have the respect of his subordinates. Keeping in mind what I have said, do you think using the military is a wise vehicle to employ to spread an ideologies agenda? And spare me the argument that the Armed Forces are comprised of a cross section of society - depending on the trade, maybe. But certainly not door kickers1 point

1789 Capital is a venture capital firm founded by pro-Trump donors that brought Trump Jr. in as a partner last year. Since Trump’s inauguration, 1789’s portfolio companies have won contracts from the Trump administration totalling more than $735 million. If you can’t see the conflict of interest, then you are not looking. Another company is Unusual Machines, who were awarded a contract from the US army to manufacture 3,500 drones and there’s a plan to order an additional 20,000 components from the Trump Jr- backed firm next year. Unusual Machines brought Trump Jr. on as an adviser just weeks after the 2024 election, even though he had no notable experience with drones or military contracting. https://truthout.org/articles/trump-jr-backed-company-receives-620-million-pentagon-loan/ When self-dealing becomes the criterion and favoured method of operation, the government is corrupted.1 point

Politics is the art or science concerned with winning and holding control over a government? There is no right or wrong way to do this .......... there is only a 'winning' way. To pursue an agenda that is obviously failing and attempting to pi$$ down the electorates back and telling them it's rainfall is a failing strategy. The objective re: Venezuela is regime change ............ nothing wrong with that .......... ......... don't pi$$ down the people's back with this foolish drug interdiction argument. It's getting foolish....... foolish on steroids. ..........REALLy? For drug interdiction on swift boats? Coast Guard has been doing this for ........EVER ...... and more effectively. It is the losing political arguments that should be a concern - they are stupid and definitely not effective. A few facts ..... Fentanyl is up to 40 times more potent than heroin and roughly 100 times more potent than morphine. Almost all (96%) was intercepted at the south-west border with Mexico The claim that Venezuela is producing or shipping fentanyl into the U.S. is central to recent U.S. rhetoric, but independent analyses and watchdogs say there is no proof that fentanyl is being manufactured or trafficked from Venezuela or broadly from South America1 point

No, you simply need to acknowledge who those nuts actually are. POOF... there ya go. They are part of the 59% of Palestinians that oppose Hamas... their opposition is painfully (I'll say torturously) problematic for them though. Maybe your lefty delegates will have better luck and experience less torture. No... no there isn't, and that's another disconnect that only comes with reading media stuff and not smelling the air, walking the land, and talking with those old Palestinian guys. Good luck, I've participated in two of those efforts and done a bunch of training in Israel... things are worse under Hamas than they were when I turned 19 in the Sinai. If you have an appetite for that peace keeping mission you're hungrier than me... and most other nations to boot. Lots of that going around...1 point

It’s weird how the people who call out Trump’s lies are accused of being deranged, instead of the people who so gullibly believe them. Narco-terrorists, my foot. Who believes this claptrap? It’s all to keep Trump supporters occupied while he rapes the country. It’s all performative cruelty. Instead of blowing them up, why not arrest the boat operators and bring them to trial? They have been blowing up pangas, which have a range of about 150 nautical miles, tops. So, we are expected to believe that these boats are bringing drugs to the USA? It’s 1700 nautical miles to Miami.1 point

The let off head chopper criminal has not killed anyone so far? Maybe next week one of them will chop someone's head off. And if we are lucky, it will be your head and not someone else's head. Just saying. My belief is that once they have committed such a dastardly deed and crime like chopping someone's head off, they should be either locked up in jail for life or executed. No more being soft on crime or it is now time for some tough love. I don't want any of those psychos on my street and looking for his next innocent victim. WOW, that is some stupid rock falls on someone's head comment. How can anyone in their right mind want to arrest and put a rock in jail? Now that is cruel and unusual punishment for any rock. LOL. I wonder as to where and how prosper Canada would and could be today if it were not for those lieberal communist globalists in Ottawa, and with the help of the french communist separatists from quebec, with their always trying to destroy Canada and to stop Canada from seeing it's full potential. The culprit here in Canada is not only the WEF globalists but also the french communists from quebec. Quebec corrupted and ripped off English Canada by the hundreds of billions every year and have stopped Canada from seeing it's full potential. But all we got instead from those two thieves and rip off artists mentioned above is more broke, mpore woke and pretty much close to bankruptcy. All Canadians could be filthy rich today if it were not for the communists in Ottawa and quebec that continue running and ruining Canada. Why do so many Canadians always keep voting for those same scumbags mentioned above and try and put an end to their demise. I already did. Being right is right and being left is just plain stupid. LOL. I don't know as to how many people died from covid and neither do you. We all just went by what the lying and fake lieberal media told us had died. Many people who died because of other health or injury related causes were lumped in with being victims of covid. No one knows for certain as to how many people have died from covid. It was not covid that injured or killed people, it was the covid vaccine that did that job. A real story. I read one time that a motorcycle rider who was killed in an accident, and when they did an autopsy, they found some covid in his body, and then he was reported by the lying and fake lieberal media, and the lying medical establishment, as dying from covid. Do you believe everything that the medical establishment tells you? And again, how do you know that the Maritimes was the safest place on earth? Did you get that from the lying lieberal media and the lying medical establishment? Nobody can produce any real evidence to show anyone that the covid vaccine saved anyone's life. As a matter of fact the covid vaccine caused more harm to people than did them any good. But you being a stunned lieberal and all, you will believe anything that your lying lieberal politicians and the lying Canadian MSM says. You will no doubt fall for the next planned covid like plandemic when the big pharma globalist powers to be decide that it is time to create another fake virus. Some people's kids. Terrible. 😁1 point

You haven't got a clue about what you're saying. An estimated 13,000 to 16,000 Palestinians died during the 1948 Nakba, also known as the 1948 Palestine war. Other sources provide figures within this range, such as approximately 15,000 deaths. The casualties occurred in a series of mass atrocities and included both civilians and those who died in combat situations during the period from late 1947 to 1949. This period was characterized by: The forced expulsion or flight of over 750,000 Palestinians, who became refugees. The destruction or depopulation of more than 500 Palestinian villages and towns by Zionist forces. Dozens of documented massacres, including those in Deir Yassin, Tantura, and Lydda. The Nakba (Arabic for "catastrophe") is not only seen as a historical event but an ongoing process of displacement and dispossession for Palestinians.1 point

The war was started some 80 years ago by Zionists. It was completely unjustified and nothing that has ever happened in the past mitigates it in any way shape or form. The only reason you'd like to pretend differently is because somehow it justifies the attack which validates your continued support of it. That's right, we were a country within their empire. Allied more closely than just about any alliance in history. There is no such thing as a left-wing religious nut. It's a made up term you just invented because you're big mad that it was in fact a right-wing religious nut that killed the best chance for peace. You can't get anywhere arguing with me and what it to be my fault. Until you're shown it's your sides terrorists that started the ME down this terrible terrifying path. Then you think it's the bees knees. You try to justify the murder, rape, hostage taking and execution that occurred at Deir Yassin and 80 years of oppression and subjugation that followed claiming that what happened to Jews in Europe made it okay. How much longer until you're waving some mouldy olde holy book around like some right-wing religious freak?1 point

On the face of it, and based on my interpretation of the word "allegiance" , we are asked to blindly put our faith and serve the monarch, in my case QE2, their heirs and successors. The monarch is supposed to uphold the values of the institution they represent to the highest standard for which they are paid by the taxpayer. At this stage we can conclude that the monarch knowingly and deliberately failed to deliver on the mandate they had. They allowed , at least one, of their heirs and successors to commit not just unethical and immoral acts, but also criminal acts with impunity. There is a good argument that in this case the oath to the monarch no longer stands - they failed their part of the contract first!1 point

Honestly I think he said it because he's not afraid to lie and he though it would help him get elected. There are ways that the government could massively stimulate huge increases in construction but unfortunately loaning money to developers is not one of them. That has not been their problem. That's true. Although if we're being fair part of the problem has been that municipalities and cities have become a little drunk on the money they make from Developers in the forms of fees and charges and those have grown substantially if not exponentially in some areas. But the feds could have done a lot more in recent years and matching immigration to housing starts should have been a no-brainer1 point
-
You are horrifically mistaken. Currently as things stand in British Columbia about 55 to 60% of the cost of building a new home development for a contractor is in red tape and compliance issues No municipality has the right to red tape. Municipalities and cities do not exist in the constitution, only provinces and federal governments do. All lower forms of government derive their power from the provincial government itself and the provincial government can dictate whatever it likes. They absolutely do. I absolutely gave you a link to a story about the government building things I know reading isn't your forte but for god's sake it was an easy link And yes, Poilievre did quite a bit when he was minister under harper. And they built more homes then then are being built in Canada right now. And that was 15 years ago when we had a lower population. The government absolutely has the ability to impact how many homes are built and in fact that's something cardi has just set up a department to do but unfortunately it's failing. And anybody familiar with the industry could have told you that's what was going to happen. He's not addressing the right problems1 point

To be honest you don't know what the military takes into account , your guessing lets not forget our Airforce work hand in hand with American Air force and are very much aware of the politics happening on both sides.... It's trite to you because you don't place a value on anything military....You seem to not know how this works, once you sign onto unlimited liability you don't have a say in where you go or whom you fight....That would be the same government that purchases the equipment....like i have said before it is cheaper to bury Canadians than it is to buy them the proper equipment.... Your example is not apples to apples....we don't have military equipment in another warehouse or province we can use...and it takes far to long to manufacture it, the next conflict is come as you are... Lets talk about your point if you think Carney got elected on this one point your grip on Canadian politics is on amateur level...it does not even make the top 5 reason he got elected...This country has agree because we are in a trade war with the US and to appease trump Carney has agreed to sell him the moon, we both know Canada is not going to live up to any NATO agreement ...So my point still stands...we would be lucky to see the 8 additional bil to make 2 % a constant. Your not looking because you don't give a sh!t, and can't be bothered....Your not alone the majority of Canadians could not be bother either.......which proves all the rest of my points....If Canada cared it would have stepped up and demanded our government to do something , anything...maybe all Canadians can do is support terrorist, or LGBTQ community... You seem to think your the master, and i am the servant....I did not serve it's tax payers contrary to what you think,.....i served the government of Canada and swore allegiance to the king... to defend Canada from enemies foreign and domestic.... Our history is full of examples of our military being used against Tax payers....in times of crises Just saying... Sorry my friend your a number on a spread sheet, just like everyone else....that happens to pay income tax, you are no better nor worse than i am....You continue to discount the fact that the military also pays income tax, but you've chosen not to include them in your Tax payers comment....I'd also like to correct you it is not "YOUR" money, once you and ever other Canadian pays their taxes it becomes property of the Federal government to do with as they please...Your only duty to this nation is to pay taxes and if told to by the government serve in in time of crises...Thats it my friend.. you don't have a seat in parliament, and your voice needs to have millions of others attached to it to have any effect...That's a maybe, not a guarantee.. I like you, pay taxes on my earnings like every other Canada so your statement that i do not create wealth in this nation you've lied again....The fact that the military creates wealth by supporting our defense industry, which creates jobs and investments..by providing services to this nation, like Coast Guard, Transport Canada, along with support to the nation when there is a crises... Stop pretending your thankful , because that's not the message your sending..., when you act like some how we should be lucky to take your table scraps...So keep paying your taxes and stop acting like your the only one....and please stop the acting like you care...You may be a citizen that pays taxes, you may even have a job that serves the nation, but you are no better than any other Canadian....nor are you more important... Nobody has said you should sit down and STFU, your entitled to your opinion it is one of the freedoms we have in this country...But thinking you know more than those military commanders is non sense...thinking you some how have a voice that counts in this decision is false....Unless you sit at Carneys table, which i heard he is looking for new people... You seem to have bought into Carney narrative trump is a real, really bad man, and hear i thought you were a hard core conservative....not a limpy liberal, maybe i was wrong........he has "said" some nasty stuff, he's offer Canada a way out by offering us to be the 51 st state, because Canadian leadership up until this moment has lead us to here and now.... ....That's sounds terrible....show me on the doll where it hurts....Trumps threats has done a few things to better this nation, we spend a little more on border services and RCMP....we are now spending the 2 % on our military which was promised decades ago...He has sorted out the lagards in NATO, and force everyone to spend 5 % so we can catch up with the real enemies in this world....Russia, China, Iran, and dozens of others...He has not acted on any of his threats to take us over....SO come on out from under your bed....the bad mans is all words...Just like Carney is all words....1 point

What big picture do you think the air force is missing with this Purchase ? And what if any factors would supersede the value of a Military member life... None look at who is twisting words, above is your statement, MRI are available at most large cities and available to all that need them....Not the same as purchasing equipment that only meant 33 % of the specs that the military was looking for... No where did i say or suggest what you are claiming i said and as per usual your out right lying....to make your point.... If the majority of Canadians supported the military, it would not be in the mess it is now, Fighter jets well over 40 years old, Ships well over 40 years old...ground equipment approaching 20 years of more, Quarters with out run or working toilets, or drinkable water, infra structure over 60 years old....And don't bullsh!t us about why carney got elected, and it was not because Canadians were concerned about the military....There are tones of polls out there stating what Canadians are most concerned about and the military is not even in the top ten...Carney plan is to appease trump not Canadians...Nice try though...Man your reaching with that statement...Liberals won because everyone else did not want PP to be elected... You don't get it....the military has laws against it's members speaking badly of the military or elected members...The military does not have a PR department because the government does not allow it to speak out out of turn, they are employees....It speaks volumes that regular Canadians who are bombarded by the media on our military's started does nothing ... and yet we can get thousands marching for a terrorist organization...ya nice try... Your allowing your hatred of trump cloud your judgement...US and Canadian military work hand in hand on the defense of America...and has done so over many decades...We rely on the US to provide us with the best military aircraft on the planet, if you can find another aircraft that does the job better in Europe please provide an example...most other equipment is purchased or designed else where... You keep saying that the military does a poor job of letting the public know the problems in the military, just google it and thousands of web sites will come back, with dozens of pod casts, run and operated by retired military people, we went though this last time and i provided half dozens articles....once again your being dishonest when just over the last month there has been dozens of military stories in the media. yes military spending has gone up, and that is where you mind shuts off....but how do you explain why they can't afford to train, or buy spare parts or look after our vets, poor equipment states where more than 60 % of it is broken....Sorry but even you could see there is a problem.... I really don't give a shit you cant trust anyone...It is a Canadian trait, and when the fingers are pointed at you, you get defensive....instead of stepping up and owning it....then you attack....with you should be happy we give you anything at all...(and they truely are , because it happens so rarely)....or we will decide what is best for you, when you can not even see the problem staring you directly in your face...You can call it what ever you like a cry fest or what ever, your a guy that does not like the facts when presented to you...and none of them support your augment...But thanks for coming out anyways.... I find it funny that some one with no skin in the game has so much to say....maybe one day someone from your family will join our nations defense apparatus and have to strap into some cockpit of a fighter that was made by the lowest bidder...and will be soon obsolete...i wonder what you'll have to say then....1 point
-
They serve so guys like you can live in moms basement, with all your freedoms and rights in tact....And yes it takes a lot of training to do be able to pull that trigger and take a life....It is exactly what the job is about....it is exactly what is needed to defend our nation and its foreign policy....every nation has a military or force that is designed to protect their nation....and some times that requires having a bigger stick than the bad guys and the wiliness to use it.. you don't have to like it , but it serves you every day, like it or not....1 point
-
That's BS, the air force knows exactly what it needs to defend the nation and support our foreign policy...They are the experts in their field, they are the ones briefing the politicians...who don't have a clue on any subject under their preview.. It is their decisions that HAVE killed Canadians....which is one of my main points... Unlike every doctor, lives are not at risk because someone cheap out...There are plenty of MRI's out there that nobody's lives are in danger...and they don't have to strap themselves into something that was provided by the cheapest bidder, and risk their own lives doing our government s bidding... to score political votes... No it does not work both ways....politicians pick out the equipment and the numbers they want, despite what they have been briefed upon by the military....So if they pick the wrong equipment or not enough that's is on them.... Your point has been driven home millions of times, everyone with more than 2 years in the military, fully knows that we can not count on the civilian population to have their backs...EVER...You guys carved that in stone decades ago....Joining the Army is nothing more than a job for most, a method to make a paycheck....they risk their lives not for the Nation but for a the men and women next to them, and a pay check...."Learn from that" hard to love something that hates you back.......The military DOES not have hopes and dreams , it has been let done to many times, by our government and it's people and will gladly except what ever our government purchases...give you a smile and a salute....and do what they have always have defend the nation, don't kid yourselves their is no love lost between us , just disappointment ....Not sure what the military has done to any Canadian to give them the attitude you share right now...But your not alone in that, the majority of Canadians feel the same way... I'm not pretending about anything, let me be clear on this, the majority of the public has Never supported Military on anything... That's on them and the government , not serving members, because we don't want to, but rather are refrained form by policy.......So why should the Military now give a rats A$$ about what they think now.....Like you your mind is already made up, and i doubt you or others are going to change that any time soon...The message our military members receives loud and clear is this, "Canadians don't care about them or their life's or what they do for this country, nor do they care if you come home in a bag or in a seat " ...Military has a recruit department not a PR department, regular members can not promote the military on line it is against the military law, which is why so many retired members are online.... Canadians have not supported anything outside of their bubble, it is one of the reasons were as a country are such a mess... They have grown into a bunch of takers, not givers....if they could they would much prefer more social programs than any of the security apparatus...And it shows...1 point

I'm beginning to believe that the majority of Canadians are ignorant of their history - such as it is. What is somewhat troubling or should be is that it is not taught or if it is, its vetted to either not offend a diaspora or takes on the approach of vilifying those men (mostly) who were icons in Canada's development. With the proportional HUGE immigration into the country don't expect any real allegiance to it - Canadian history will be either disregarded, too Nationalistic, too racist, not woke enough, embarrassing, discriminatory, too NOT Canadian. History needs to be taught, understood - warts and all.1 point
