This is a strawman argument and just plain dishonest. We are not talking about per capita crime rates, we are talking about illegal immigrants who should not be here at all, engaged in not only violent crimes, but other harmful crimes to Americans. It doesn't matter if the per capita rate is lower, what matters is that it is MORE aggregate crime that shouldn't exist at all. Let's break down the stupid dishonesty here: Option 1: 1,000,000 citizens live in smalltown USA and there are 1,000 rapes a year. Option 2: 200,000 Illegal immigratns enter smalltown USA and there are now 1,100 rapes a year You are sitting here telling everyone that having MORE RAPE is better, well, because the per capita rate went down a little bit. The point is that those 100 rapes should never have happened at all here, because they are not supposed to be here.3 points

We have something that's called the Conflict of Interest Act. He has complied with that and his holdings have gone into into a blind trust. Carney worked in the private sector with Brookfield and others, and has been successful professionally and financially. That's your definition of corrupt? Other than you missing PP, what's the problem. Do you suggest that all Premiers or members of Cabinet can no longer hold stock in their portfolio's? Again, where do you think PP's Canadian stock holdings are?2 points

Notice the threatened EU and Maxican tariff is 30% and Canada's is 35%? The petty Pighead is continuing his Trudeau derangement because Carney is a liberal too. Trump is Canada's #1 Enemy and should be treated as such. As I pointed out in another thread he has made more actual threats to Canada in only 6 months than the USSR did in 70 years.1 point

After all of the left's talk about assassinating the president, blowing up the WH, saying that severed-head effigies are just a joke, calling for followers to "push back on conservative politicians and tell them that they're not welcome in your neighbourhood", etc, they don't want to take responsibility when Steve Scalise gets shot or there are assassination attempts on Trump. Riots were "mostly peaceful" for years until there was a conservative group that rioted, then suddenly they saw a connection between the words of politicians and rioting 😂 I have more respect for a garbage-can rat than a left4rd.1 point

He and others like him are always blind to anything that doesn't fit their talking points or echo chamber. It is obvious these people folks died for what they see as trump's mistake, even though it turned out not to be. But as far as he's concerned nobody said anything! He can't see it because he doesn't want to. Self delusion is an absolute necessity if you're going to be on the left. If he didn't have that capacity he would be on the right.1 point

You realize you were the lesser-minded in that equation right at the moment And to be honest I barely even begun to break out my Jedi Mind Tricks. I was going to but then you came up with that math glitch that made you look dumber than I was going to make you look. To stick with the Jedi metaphor it's like you had your lightsaber accidentally pointed backwards when you turned it on and I never got to swing in1 point

Your EVIDENCE is always BUPKIS!! Whatever you post evidence it never says what you think it says. None of your evidence is actually related to what you are talking about. It's kind of a running gag. You claim that trump has been caught selling Russian secrets and then post a link to an article explaining how to correctly use dental floss.1 point

Looking out for its own interest is not cutting its own throat with trade agreements. America can pull back and reduce its military and reduces footprint on the world quite a bit, and that would definitely save trillions of dollars. But they still need trade, they still need to have money and this is leading to a circumstance when they will have less money and less influence in the world. How is that smart? you are basically incentivizing other countries to find other markets and other people to sell to and in time america will have LESS influence with those people.1 point

Yep, and America just lost a good person. She was a hard working woman, working 12 hours a day and lived in America for 36 years since she was 15. She may have gone to a better place. America is controlled by the super wealthy who think they are purifying America, but money isn't everything. Love for our fellow man is more important than money and a good relationship with God is what really counts. I wish her all the best.1 point

Mark Carney has just announced that Canada will reach it's 2% of GDP spending on the military by March. He also pointed out that this is not due to NATO pressure, it is due on the fact that the USA is no longer a dependable military ally. BTW 2/3 of Canadians have said F Off to the Orange Overlord's Golden Dome fever dream. Might have to do with we heard that song before. that it is a ridiculous price being asked of us, or the fact that 40 years later we still remember that putting weapons in space is a BAD idea.1 point

I actually think that when you have an influx of economic migrant they tend to congregate in the ghettos and perpetuate the cycle of poverty and crime, a well understood mechanism. This isn’t often discussed by the academic circles for dishonest reasons. If the local population is subjected to the poverty cycle that enable crimes, why would vulnerable economic migrant not fall prey to the same conditions? They do.1 point

They are....saw bits of it. CBC thinks it's relevant to tell the story of how a political leader that for all intents and purposes had an election in the bag with a 29% lead with mere months to go has become irrelevant this quickly. Alas, hero to zero in a Carney moment... 👉 Great interview though.... PeeWee, how would you negotiate better for Canada? 'We'd fight to protect our jobs'...fcuk this guy is savvy....hope Carney has thought of that! PeeWee, how you you negotiate differently? 'We wouldn't put a timeline on, that just helps the other side'. Guessing he picked up that crafty ploy on his paperboy route?1 point

People in glass houses... The Canadian Press Published Aug 28, 2012 "Pointed questions are beginning to swirl around Nigel Wright, Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s chief of staff, and whether he used his position to further the financial interests of friends at Barrick Gold Corp. On the advice of the federal ethics watchdog, Wright set up a “conflict of interest screen” when he joined the Prime Minister’s Office." Postmedia News Published Mar 23, 2012 "Prime Minister Stephen Harper indicated Friday he has no intention of punishing Christian Paradis after the federal ethics commissioner found the industry minister to have been in a conflict of interest after arranging meetings for former Tory MP Rahim Jaffer." BTW: I see PeePee has no qualms about doing a CBC interview now that he's becoming irrelevant. Reeks of desperation.1 point

Yup it’s stupid. There’s no winning a war where the cost is turning friends into enemies and putting your population in constant threat of peril. It would actually be worse than that, because if the U.S. turned on a close NATO ally, the U.S. would lose or destroy the alliance and put itself in conflict with the West and much of the rest of the world. A common market for the two countries was the best case scenario, but because of Trump’s coercive approach, Canadians are turned off further integration as they realize that the U.S. can and will turn on allies and break agreements to seek self-interested advantages that aren’t even guaranteed or significant depending on who happens to be president. It’s like Canada is being told it will be cut out of the family business unless it moves into the family compound where the rules are stifling and the only way to keep your job is to do as you’re told. That may have been possible when Canada was in its infancy, but the price of an independent adulthood is having to do more for yourself. That’s why America had a revolution. Short memory… My guess is that things will calm down in a couple of years, but opportunities were missed. The mantra of leadership is relationships, relationships, relationships. Have America’s relationships improved or worsened? You know the answer.1 point

And he can bypass it in about 3 seconds. We have all kinds of acts, but that didn't stop Justin Trudeau for example from trying to get his buddies at snc off in court illegally. I have no doubt Mr Carney will be more successful than he was if he puts his mind to it. So the bottom line is the fact that there's a law doesn't mean that what's going on isn't corrupt and criminal. It does mean he's going to be able to cover his tracks and have the appearance of being above board but that is not the same thing The liberals have spent the last 10 years deflecting when something shady came up about once every 3 months. Liberal supporters refuse to punish them1 point

Being in the country undocumented isn't necessarily illegal. But,Entering the country unlawfully is a criminal offense. And that applies to pretty much all of these people. Further, not Leaving when asked is a criminal offense. And that applies to a lot of these people as well Further while being an undocumented person in America is not a crime it is unlawful. It is still a violation of the law so they are still lawbreakers. So are they criminals and lawbreakers? Yes, the vast majority of them will be criminals and lawbreakers. They entered the country illegally, they stayed after they were told to leave, and they are in the country against the law I would seen you're the one lying They can be removed at any time and that is the way it is. And they should be, criminal Behavior should never be rewarded and neither should unlawful Behavior1 point

It is entirely dishonest because: 1. They ignore the fact that an ILLEGAL immigrant is already a criminal breaking the law 2. They have no real data to sufficiently say how many ILLEGAL immigrants are breaking other laws around identity, fraud, to be here illegally... BECAUSE they are here illegally hiding and you can't count that, on top of the other crimes they are engaged in that don't get reported because they are committing crimes against other illegal immigrants who won't report it... Look at Garcia, he was clearly engaged in Human trafficing when pulled over, but the Biden administration didn't charge him, the local Democrats didn't bother charging him... they just let him go. So, guess what, that is a criminal and a criminal act not recorded in those totals. How much of that is going on?1 point

This is the depraved argument being made here: Oh, your daughter was raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant? That should have been deported after he was arrested for a DUI but we are a sanctuary city opposed to helping ICE with deportations? OOPS, sorry, but here, let us tell you about the myth of "immigrant" crime and how the overall per capita crime rates are slightly lower.1 point

Socially engineered genocide. There is nothing more terrifying to the liberal establishment than open transparency over the trends of interracial violence & rape as they flood the country with radical demographic change. An 8 year old girl was just raped & brutally butchered by a 17 year old in Ontario. His identity will be protected, will probably be released before his 30s. We're seeing this across Europe. In Sweden over 55% of rapes are committed by foreign born Africans and Muslims. It's open season on White women & girls with our soft as shit justice system.1 point

Suicidal empathy. Politically weaponizing it is manipulation. This is a common tactic of the left and increasingly more, it's coming from the liberal establishment. Actually, I grew up very left wing as an atheist, but it's morphed & exploded via third world immigration into an openly anti-White cult. The dog has caught the car, Herb, and you're still here preaching magical thinking. Ignore all of human history and human nature when it comes to conflict. Everything will be okay.1 point

ALL Canada? Not. Canada's role is debatable and at worst we were America's lackeys. Why do you think I didn't supported funding for Canada's military in the past? We were never more than Uncle Sam's sidekick - who's job was to mostly put a moral shine on whatever shit they stirred up. Were people still sticking Canadian flags on their luggage in those days or was the jig up by that point?1 point

Ditto. It was all a mirage, nothing is real: "congress"; "checks and balances"; "free press"; "guns to protect from tyranny"; corporate media as "free"; "public healthcare and social services, socialism, anathema". The buck is someone's pocket does magic to your miserable life. Dumb and dim were too dim to understand that they were pipe led to their demise. And finally, stepped over the cliff. The lesson: don't be dumb. Think. Keep big money under control always. If someone is lying all the time it's because they have a purpose.1 point
