Ever wonder...? How sad it must be- believing that scientists, scholars, historians, economists, and journalists have devoted their entire lives to deceiving you, while a reality TV star with decades of FRAUD and exhaustively documented lying is your only beacon of truth and honesty. -Neil DeGrasse Tyson It's quite comical when you think about it... 😂2 points

Maga-evolution, live: Biden is hiding it - bad, bad Biden - We will release it on Day 1! - We're releasing it. It's on our desk - Only some days till we release it. Hang on - Just a couple weeks for this and that you know. - It never existed so nothing will be released. Just forget it. New day, new truth of the day. Orwell knew, 1948.2 points

The only country we have ever had to defend ourselves against is yours. Some things don't change. Trump has taken the US on the road to stagflation. Enjoy.2 points

He will announce more and more tariffs every day until someone tells him to F^ck Off and Die. He continues to act like the most a$$holic boss you ever worked for in your life, too dimwitted to understand other countries don't work for him, they work for themselves and always will.2 points

Nah. we do lots of trade with the rest of the world and the reason we haven't done more is that the us wanted our goods and they're right there. For you it's been like living next to a mall, one stop shopping for all your energy and resource needs But lots of other people want the stuff and we'll start selling to them. No biggie. We'll bulid more pipelines and sell our oil and gas elsewhere. We'll sell our minerals and metals else where. Sure there'll be a transition period but not a big deal. We'll get through it and be stronger.2 points

Maybe Americans will have to go back to using aluminum wiring. Oh wait!2 points

The thing people, especially those on the left who don't care to understand, don't seem to get about ICE is that they are not the average patrol officer just wandering the streets like a patrol officer. The arrests we are seeing are a very tactical and precise engagement where they are effecting an arrest that was planned, they know the target, they have the warrant or probable cause. It is more like a SWAT team engagement at that point, they are moving in to apprehend someone and then they are gone. They wear more urban / tactical clothing to effect those arrests without giving themselves away... because, guess what, when illegal immigrants see big fashy officers in uniform and lights coming... the don't tend to stick around. Also, ICE is operating under duress and threat from leftist violence and obstruction. So the quicker they can move in undetected and unnoticed, make the arrest, and leave, the better for everyone.2 points

You have clearly never been to a third world shit hole. How many illegal immigrants are living in your home? How many illegal immigrants are you helping enter Canada a day? What a stupid comment. Why would any of us go there? We are not illegal immigrants breaking the law.2 points

Lmao...you really think you have something? User posted an article. I don't need to rehash that. Further, their association is being reported all over the news. If you don't know they are leftists/ANTIFA, then that is willful ignorance.2 points

The US is an authoritarian state now. The Republican majority will never stand up to Trump, and a backward right wing Supreme court will let him do almost everything he wants to. As close to a dictatorship as you can get.2 points

We need to, and will take this turning point, prompt and opportunity to renew and build a stronger, more confident Canada. We have everything. We can be Switzerland. Three torn up, ripped up "deals" not even in a decade? Have it your way: over there, the door. Just walk out. Ciao. No more "special deals" with such "partners" - we can see in real time and with our own eyes how those turn out. Just get lost. There, easy.1 point

With more and more people being picked up by ICE, Canadians have taken a vote and decided there are a few red lines we draw in the snow....here is a few of them.... Under no circumstances are the states allow to return justin bieber, celine dion or nickelback back to Canada.....you touch them you bought them, no takesy backsy1 point

What arrogant pricks like you don't understand is these tactics aren't cowering Canadians, they are pissing them off. We don't give a rat's ass what you and your fellow Americans want and the more you persist, the more pissed we get.1 point

If: Orban openly paid the Hungarian state broadcasting company hundreds of millions of dollars before an election gave "select media outlets" hundreds of millions of dollars before the election as well Hungary's state broadcasting company joined a coalition with Rebel News, Fox News, the National Post, the Sun, X, Truth Social, etc to "prevent the flow of disinformation into Hungary" Hungary's state broadcaster posted "polling data" from companies that were openly hostile towards Hungary's minority parties would the left4rds here consider Hungary's elections to be fair? How is it that we're supposed to have a democracy here in Canada when: the LPOC openly bribed our state broadcaster with over $1B over the past 4 elections the LPOC gave "select media outlets" nearly $700M over the past 4 elections the CBC joined a coalition with NYT, WashPo, FB, Google, Twitter (up until Musk bought it, during the covid scandal) to "prevent the flow of disinformation during the US federal election" and then again during covid? The "disinformation" that they blocked was mainly the Hunter laptop story (not disinformation, but te NYPost was banned from Twitter for telling the truth about it) and the Wuhan BSL4 story (which was again 100% true, but people were banned from FB just for mentioning that lab) Our state broadcaster shows us "polling data" from EKOS polling, which is openly biased in favour of the LPOC We actually DON'T have a democracy in Canada. If you look up the definition of a modern democracy, and all the things that a country would need to ensure that they were a democracy, WE DO NOT HAVE ONE, period. It's undeniable that we do not have a modern democracy. Discuss.1 point

Or, Canadians could take a much harder stance. Ford was on the right track. Let everyone take a hit to make an important point to a bully. Inspire other countries. At the same time cut a massive trade deal with China that creates joint EV ventures.1 point

Up until now, Democrats had no problem with kidnapping. That is why they loved not separating kidnapped children from adults at the border. And those were actual, verifiable kidnapping cases rather than these hypothetical cases they are so so so worried about.1 point

Well we definitely have to stop being lazy and get away from dealing with America. It's always easy to sell to your neighbor, you don't have any transport costs. But we need to find other markets and it's not like we don't have contacts in those markets. We already do sell to other people we just don't bother to sell them more than we have been. And I think we need to up our game as far as diversifying into services and such that we can sell abroad as well, and tech development and the like. There will be a. Of restructuring and it will be painful but such things happen all the time in the world and we just have to shoulder through it and get serious. We need the energy corridors to be built with electrical lines and pipelines, we may need to look at working a deal with china for cars and other suppliers as well and the American Market if we can find someone willing to make cars here. It'll take some time but it's not like we can't do it They both have massive markets that can move more than make up for America. And the fact that they're weak means it's easy to start doing business with them. But I think there's plenty of others that will be easier to do business with in the short term.1 point

I don't think even police officers have their actual names on their gear anymore do they? I'm pretty sure they just have a number or the like so people can identify them to their superiors if necessary but can't dox them. Which is fine1 point

Were you the kind of neighbor who was calling Justice Alito's wife a c*nt and displaying signs next to the school bus stop of F*ck Trump?1 point

Whatever, all you really care about is that Carney comes out looking weak or bad. Which is certainly your prerogative. Carney doesn't really don't need to react directly to Trump because most of the damage Trump is inflicting is on the US and himself. Canadians meanwhile are fighting back themselves by keeping up their boycott of US goods, buying Canadian wherever possiblenand expanding their horizons and looking for new customers. Canadians also seem comfortable dealing with the pain while knowing it's Trump's fault. No one seems to be in much of a mood for caving except you. Speaking of appearing weak and lame so does trying to gain some traction on your sour grapes.1 point

Badges I'm fine with. I just don't want the agents' identities exposed. If democrats are so worried about "kidnappings" then they'd best get onboard with legalized immigration.1 point

Funding for electric cars, funding environmental research... I suppose so. It's not a double-standard if you say "we should do this thing more" and you can't do it for practical reasons... "You'll have nothing and be happy" is a meaningless nothing, which has been copy/pasted to shock people into thinking that Marxism is imminent, IMO. You're proving my point by mis-attributing the quote that you remember. https://www.reuters.com/article/world/fact-check-the-world-economic-forum-does-not-have-a-stated-goal-to-have-people-idUSKBN2AP2SP/ This says someone named Ida Auken wrote it. Anyway, moving on...1 point

Apparently you are not very good at reading. I said second biggest export to China, not the first simply because of the link to the article.1 point

I think and certainly hope Carney will tell Trump to go pee up a rope. The Orange One is still blaming fentanyl for tariffs FFS. Canadians will only stand for so much bs. Meanwhile it remains to be seen how much bs Americans are willing to put up with in terms of stupidly inflated prices the Orange Dink causes.1 point

Agree that the majority of Canadian's want to see Carney push back and hold his ground. Not surprising that Trump has gone public twice now in 'negotiations that we won't be discussing in public'. Tells me that Carney isn't bending. Keep pushing back like most other countries are and let the business and political pressure force his hand, if the economy doesn't first.1 point

Carney has a minority and will have to read the room. I don't think a majority of Canadians are interested in kissing Agent Orange's ring without a fight.1 point

I agree, the Canadian market is almost 2 million vehicles a year. Not being built in the US will be a requirement if I ever go shopping for a new car. Both my current vehicles were built in Germany and should last me another ten years with the mileage I put on them. Who knows, by then I might not be driving.1 point
