  1. Shocked! Shocked I am that these people would complain about their conditions while they are trying to fight their Deportation due to illegal residency! I mean, who would have thought that they might try to exaggerate how bad their situation was to win sympathy from the public? NOBODY Could see that coming I hear one of them reports that one of the alligators called him a racial name, and another told him that this was maga country and stole his subway sandwitch.

  2. No they didn't. They continue with one that was started before they got there and completely screwed it up but other than that they shot down every other one and canceled Northern Gateway. It is absolutely fair to say that the liberals did not allow Pipelines

  3. Whereas most prisoners leave positive ratings for the trailer jailers. "Toilet paper was 2 ply, reasonable bribe prices, and only 1 cockroach whom i named Tony. All in all, 4 out of 5 stars, i would definitely recommend and will return for my next incarceration vacation!"

  4. No, not fine. I gave you a list twice that you cowardly ran away from both times that included violence and shooting as well. This was not just some mistake you made here, it is a pattern of calculated dishonesty. Even now, you still lie, as the list I gave you was all recent stuff with I think the 2017 Congressional Baseball game shooting being one of the oldest items on that list.

  6. You are a dishonest, pathetic liar to the bitter end. They used those to set up the police and ambush them with guns. "When the Alvarado police officer arrived, one alleged defendant positioned in nearby woods shot the officer in the neck area. Another alleged assailant across the street fired 20 to 30 rounds at unarmed correctional officers who had stepped outside the facility." https://www.justice.gov/usao-ndtx/pr/ten-individuals-charged-attempted-murder-federal-officers-and-firearms-offenses

  7. So it would seem that the liberals were using government resources to conduct focus groups to test drive and refine their political campaign message. This isn't any government business focus, this is strictly electioneering and planning. They knew they'd be going to the poll soon and they knew they were in trouble and they were testing out slogans and pitches that would work and they were doing it with government money. I would hope even those who are on the left on this board would be upset by this and say it's not a good thing. But I realize that is probably wishful thinking Holly Doan on X: "DOCUMENTS: Main themes of @liberal_party “elbows up” re-election campaign were tested in confidential federal focus groups by @PrivyCouncilCA months before the U.S. announced tariffs. https://t.co/WS8KS8rUwO #cdnpoli https://t.co/srApQ1v3gc" / X

  8. Canada to introduce new permanent residency route in 2025 - The Economic Times So basically they're going to make it easier for temporary residents to become permanent residents. Remember when carney said he was going to make sure that only 5% of the population were temporary? Well this is how. He's going to make sure he recycle them into permanent residents no longer temporary residents anymore. Sheer genius! So he's still going to be bringing in crap tons of new Canadians. But on paper he will list them as temporary workers and new immigrants But not show the conversions from temporary to permanent as part of his target

  9. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/10-charged-ambush-texas-ice-detention-center-rcna217449 10 charged after ambush at Texas ICE detention center The individuals have been charged with three counts of attempted murder of a federal officer, according to the criminal complaint. The incident took place on Friday outside of the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, which houses detained migrants. At approximately 10:37 p.m., a group of ten to twelve people, wearing all black, allegedly shot fireworks towards the center and vandalized vehicles and the facility, which included spray painting "ICE PIG" on a car, the complaint read. "Make no mistake, this was not a peaceful protest," said Acting U.S. Attorney Nancy E. Larson in a statement. "This was an ambush on federal and local law enforcement officers." "Those who use violence against law enforcement officers will be found and prosecuted using the toughest criminal statutes and penalties available," Larson said. ----‐--------------------------- Who, on the left, wants to go on record as opposing this? Since none of you will call out your buddies for saying children deserved to die in a flood, im guessing none.

  10. CBC TV host blasts state broadcaster in fiery resignation | Toronto Sun In a scathing letter announcing his resignation, now former CBC journalist and television host Travis Dhanraj is taking aim at Canada’s state broadcaster. You can read the full resignation letter here. "Quickly though, CBC realized that Dhanraj wasn’t the kind of host CBC wanted; he actually welcomed a diversity of opinion. And while other shows like Power & Politics faced a boycott at the time by MPs from the federal Conservatives over their blatant pro-Trudeau, Liberal bias, those same Conservative MPs would speak to and appear on TV with Dhanraj, something CBC’s “top talent” wouldn’t allow and blocked from happening." Sigh. It may take a little longer than we hoped but these scumbags have got to go

  15. You're doing it right here: 🤣 10 years of mismanagement by a deeply unpopular government that the Canadian electorate had soured on did most of the work. Still, Poilievre managed to grasp defeat from the jaws of victory and did almost everything he could during the campaign to "only" get 41% of the popular vote. What he really managed was to boost Liberal support by 11% from the previous election, and make the Conservatives lose what shouldn't have been loseable. Good job! You can cope and seethe about how it was all Trump's fault, but there's a reason why this all blew up so spectacular in his face. Modelling your campaign off the slogans and rage-baiting of the MAGA circus unsurprisingly invited comparison!

  18. The Left is trying to erase America as we know it. They figure if they can get illegal aliens and domestic gangbangers to burn the country to the ground, they then can plant their rainbow flags at the top of the ash piles and rule from there. 23. Alright fine, didn’t read that part in the OP. Still if you count the number of incidents the right still has far more and the intensity of right wing is far worse. You had to dredge up protests from the 1960s and 1970s which is 2+ generations ago to come up with a comparable count.

  27. Seriously, of course these people are going to complain say that it's inhumane. Their whole angle right now is to try and get public sympathy. That illegal standing so it's the last shot they've got. I understand that but I also have no sympathy for them. If you're in the country legally this can happen to you. You need to leave the country and try and work out any immigration issues from your country of origin

  28. Most people have plans. Him and his band of the equally inept have none. In the meantime uncertainty affects business decisions and investments. It's a loss because of the uncertainty hanging over business, that trickles down to the consumer. Yes, this has been done before, in 1930 and didn't work out well, like this won't. I don't care about Biden or Afghanistan....this is about his so-called tariff policy You understand that it's ultimately a tax that you're paying, don't you?

  29. We do, but that's not so easy. Alternatives would be used at ourselves, and build up Industries within Canada that had a need for it so that we were buying our own product more. We have been hewers of wood and drawers of water for so long But we don't make a lot. Unfortunately instead of investing into that kind of thing over the last 10 years the liberals have spent tens of millions of dollars buying battery plants that are now not proceeding. But I mean it's obvious, it's a prop up our steel industry we should be building Pipelines. Propping up our copper industry maybe we should be building transmission lines between provinces as well, the Energy Corridor that we were supposed to be starting at Carney hasn't really done anything about. That would be a lot of copper and a lot of steel. And frankly we should be seriously considering boycotting the united states for some of our materials and minerals and energy if they are going to make unreasonable demands. Half of their military products contain our nickel. They're welcome to import copper from Halfway Around the World, that's going to cost them more money. Standing up for Canada would mean going to the united states and saying that we're Putting everything on the table, a full ban on defense cooperation, passage through our arctic waters, all of our minerals materials metals and energy including electricity and oil and that we will put out an official advisory that our people should not go to the states because it's not safe. But we'll take some of those things off the table if the US wants to talk about fair and reasonable trade relations. Donald trump is a bully. And if bully's going to try and hit you once or twice. But if you hit back as hard as you can and never let them beat you and sooner or later they step down and that's exactly what happened with china and that's exactly would happen with us. And yes we have to borrow another trillion dollars to get through the mess while pipelines and stuff were built but we would eventually find other markets and we would eventually start selling stuff to them and we would eventually become more self-sufficient and long before then the united states would come back and say we want to do business For sure. And Carney is talking a great game, he says he's all about massive amounts of new pipelines etc. Except he also says he won't do it unless everybody is in agreement in every province etc etc. Which means he's already setting up someone else to take the blame.

  30. We could have been shipping and selling far more oil and natural gas to Asia and Europe for years if the Liberals had allowed pipelines and not put their insane carbon caps on industry and carbon taxes. We would have had a much more prosperous country now. Remains to be seen what Carney will do about it.

  32. They have no idea. The whole argument is just dishonest anyhow. It doesn't matter if we kept all illegal immigrants waiting for deportation at Disney Land at the 5 star resorts where they could go ride the rides all day long... they just don't support enforcing immigration law and deporting anyone.

  35. No, they have not always been this way. Not in my youth and younger days anyway. Things in parliament were considerably more collegial among MPs of all parties. There was more of a sense of dignity to the place and more respect among them. I would say it began to die during the Mulroney rein, brought about by the Liberal "rat pack'. Things have steadily deteriorated since then. Now we're at the point where the NDP seem to have gladly committed political suicide in a desperate effort to avoid the Conservatives getting into power, despite, on a realistic level, them not really being all that much different from the Liberals on 90% of topics. Yet to hear the likes of Singh and others in the NDP AND Liberals talk, if the Tories had gotten in, Canada would have been instantly plunged into a dystopian nightmare.

  37. So do I. But your answer is as vague as people saying “progressives hate Canada”. There’s never any examples. Just vague notions that it must be happening. About a third of Conservative voters in Canada believe in anthropogenic climate change. These voices are drowned out by conservatives (the majority) who are anti-science. https://angusreid.org/environment-climate-change/ You’re right. But they are far from mainstream in liberal politics, unlike conservatives.

  38. What does that have to do with what happened here? Answer: Nothing.

  39. What makes you think that it doesn’t? The problem with the loudest of conservatives is that they think talking about things like climate change are a leftwing issue. They literally want the CBC to give equal time to conspiracy theories.

  40. 5 former directors of the National Weather Service sent an open letter a few months ago about the potentially disastrous impact of cuts by Trump. It sure came true fast. But at least your taxes are slightly lower, and rich people’s are significantly lower. NWS staff will have an impossible task to continue its current level of services. Some forecast offices will be so short-staffed that they may be forced to go to part-time services. Not only are there fewer forecasters, there are also fewer electronic technicians, who are responsible for maintaining the critical NEXRAD radars. Our worst nightmare is that weather forecast offices will be so understaffed that there will be needless loss of life. We know that’s a nightmare shared by those on the forecasting front lines — and by the people who depend on their efforts. https://www.theinvadingsea.com/2025/05/06/national-weather-service-directors-letter-noaa-trump-budget-forecasting-hurricanes-tornadoes/

  41. There's no evidence of that anywhere. In fact the evidence is that carney picked up his support because of that. People that were sick of the old liberals went to carney. Tell me you know nothing of politics without telling me If anything given the circumstances it's amazing he did that well. So in other words you have no explanation as to why people who supposedly hate him and would never vote for him and he could never win went for him instead of Carney? Aw muffin! Are you feeling sad again that your guy didn't win a majority? That is your guy didn't win either, he fell short and just lost less badly than others. Which means he's going to face an election again and people on the liberal side of the fence are already called him a boot licker Now here's a fun question for you. If in 6 months or a year an election is held and Poilievre does manage to get in, How much of a mood for revenge do you think the conservative voters are going to be in? After carney cheated like hell to win an election that he didn't deserve and the liberals have scammed Canadians for 10 years, losing the popular vote in most elections, when we finally get in after listening to you twats go on like that, when we do get in guess what we're going to do?
    1 point
  42. Sure, talking about politics on a political forum this absolutely bizarre 🙄🙄🙄🙄 How could something like this happen! You are such a twat. And I see you also have no explanation. Despite it being a two horse race where one side had severe advantages over the other he still managed to come within about a percent of the popular vote. And he held the liberals to a minority so he gets to take another crack at them before long Now a loss is still a loss, and losing his seat is just absolutely embarrassing. But, that result does not jive with what you and many others are trying to sell about how Canadians would never vote for him and absolutely detest him and he could never possibly win an election. At any other point in our history that would have been a majority government. And it's interesting that no matter how many times I ask cry babies such as yourself, none of you can come up with a simple answer to the question if he is so utterly unelectable and hated by all Canadians how did he manage to get almost 42% of the vote? Justin was: gone. He didn't get that vote because of Justin. If Justin was a factor then carney would have lost hands down
