  2. Sorry thats just another unproven Republican allegation bases on zero evidence m, which I think even you have embellished further. There’s no evidence that Hillary first “refused” or was directly involved in any way. The only ACTUAL facts are that 1) countries who have been purchasing weapons from the USA LONG BEFORE Obama and Hillary continued to do so during their time and 2) they also made donations to the Clinton foundation. As for Biden, again more unproven claims we don’t need to go down that road again Second of all, making a charitable donation to registered charity that is open to public scrutiny where there’s no clear direct benefit to the Clintons is definitely different than openly and brazenly giving cash directly to Trump through these crypto and private club schemes and clearly and openly getting special access to POTUS as a reward. Unlike your claims about Clinton and Biden it’s not an unproven rumour that that Trump is doing it, he’s doing it in the open for everyone to see

  5. This has been Canada's position all along but the fact Carney says this now on the eve of his trip to meet the Pope reveals he is trying to appease the Vatican. He is simply repeating the Vatican line now. The Vatican has a history of being anti-Semitic for 1,500 years. They do not accept what the Bible says on the subject at all. " The Bible affirms that Israel owns their land forever, emphasizing God's sovereignty and the covenantal relationship between God and Israel. Key verses include: Deuteronomy 28:15: "I will give you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be your God." Genesis 15:18: "To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates. " From any rational view, dividing Israel in half would be a major threat to its continued existence. The Palestinians are the same religion, Islamic, as all of the populations in the countries surrounding Israel. They have no interest in a two-state solution, oppose the existence of Israel, and such a scheme would never guarantee peace or the security of Israel. One must ask what PM Carney is thinking and where he gets his ideas.

  9. Insults? I criticize what you say and this entire discussion and others you throw around the derogatory “Romanism” garbage. You are not trying to discuss salvation, you are repeatedly lying about what Catholics believe and proclaiming they are not Christian on top of all your other extreme rhetoric about how every Bible is wrong except the King James. You hold very extreme views, and believe lies about everyone else and push that crap here. So no, this isn’t some nice discussion about salvation.

  11. LOL, well in fairness gatomontes you DID ask Herbie's problem is that if you ACTUALLY solve the problem of creating energy without global warming then he won't have anything to cry about as he rends his garments Canada is about to bring its very first SMRs online. This is a truly next generation tech and canada is in the lead when it comes to design. We also have a lot of the nuclear material necessary to build reactors. So this is good news for us. The new tech solves almost all the problems of older tech. It CANNOT have a runway meltdown (where as the old tech needed lots of safety systems to prevent it), you have small clusters so ite easy to take one offline for repairs while the others continue to produce power, it's easy to add to the cluster if necessary over time. It's cheaper (still expensive but no where near as bad) and it produces almost no nuclear waste compared to older systems. It's clean and doesn't require a lake to cool it. It can be deployed anywhere. And yet... despite being almost the perfect renewable environmentally safe power source.... the left is going to hate it. Because the LAST thing they need is to actually SOLVE a problem.

  20. You are wildly disengenuous. What is actually happening is that Trump has: Suspended the physical entry of migrants across the southern border: This includes suspending the ability to request asylum at the border, a move that has been challenged legally. Shut down the CBP One app: This app was previously used by migrants in Mexico to schedule appointments at ports of entry to seek asylum. Suspended the U.S. refugee admissions program: This effectively halts the entry of refugees into the United States. Froze funding for organizations assisting refugees and migrants: This aims to limit support for resettlement and legal services. All directed at brown people, BTW. And it would be one shitty thing if it were a blanket prohibition, but what he's done with this move is carve out a special exception for white "refugees" (fleeing a fictional genocide, no less) to come to the US. "If you're white, you're in! Everybody else in crisis can go kick rocks!" And while Trump pulls this overtly racist move, you jackholes want to call other people racists for criticizing it? GTFO. You're not fooling anyone.

  24. FALSE! You enjoy freedom of religion, freedom of speech, and freedom of association and human rights because of Judeo-Christian civilization and the truth in the Bible over the past several thousand years. You need to study history and see how there was no freedom or human rights the past 1700 years when the western world was ruled by a totalitarian system that claimed to be Christian but ignored the Bible. After the Reformation 500 years ago in certain countries in Europe, democracy arrived, Parliament was developed, human rights was recognized and individual freedom was gradually brought in. It was many Bible believers who were at the centre of bringing you the freedom you enjoy today. Millions died in the struggle. You should respect and appreciate where your freedom came from instead of mocking and being disrespectful. You are accountable to God whether you accept it or not.

Carney is a slithering piece of sh1t who just says what he wants people to hear in every situation, regardless of what's true or even how easy it is to prove that he's lying, because the CBC has been given enough money to always have his back. At the end of the day, it's all about Carney getting more money for himself and his cronies, just like it was for Trudeau. At no point did Trudeau ever make a single decision that put Canadians first, and Carney is following in his footsteps.

  31. I'm glad you asked. Most people would ask the same question. " The Bible is relevant today because: It provides guidance and direction for everyday life. It explains the human story and provides a historical context for our lives. It provides fresh insight, fresh nuggets of truth, and fresh application every time we read it. It is the foundation of our faith and connects us with our past and points us to our future. It informs our practices, directs our actions, and guides our life. It protects us from wrong teaching. It is God’s written word to us, complementing God’s spoken word through the Holy Spirit." "Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” While the Bible was completed approximately 1900 years ago, its accuracy and relevance for today remain unchanged. The Bible is the sole objective source of all the revelation God has given us about Himself and His plan for humanity. The Bible contains a great deal of information about the natural world that has been confirmed by scientific observations and research. Some of these passages include Leviticus 17:11; Ecclesiastes 1:6-7; Job 36:27-29; Psalm 102:25-27 and Colossians 1:16-17. As the Bible’s story of God’s redemptive plan for humanity unfolds, many different characters are vividly described. In those descriptions, the Bible provides a great deal of information about human behavior and tendencies. Our own day-to-day experience shows us that this information is more accurate and descriptive of the human condition than any psychology textbook. Many historical facts recorded in the Bible have been confirmed by extra-biblical sources. Historical research often shows a great deal of agreement between biblical accounts and extra-biblical accounts of the same events. However, the Bible is not a history book, a psychology text, or a scientific journal. The Bible is the description God gave us about who He is, and His desires and plans for humanity. The most significant component of this revelation is the story of our separation from God by sin and God’s provision for restoration of fellowship through the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross. Our need for redemption does not change. Neither does God’s desire to reconcile us to Himself. The Bible contains a great deal of accurate and relevant information. The Bible’s most important message—redemption—is universally and perpetually applicable to humanity. God’s Word will never be outdated, superseded, or improved upon. Cultures change, laws change, generations come and go, but the Word of God is as relevant today as it was when it was first written. Not all of Scripture necessarily applies explicitly to us today, but all Scriptures contain truth that we can, and should, apply to our lives today." Is the Bible relevant for today? | GotQuestions.org The subject of Israel is a central issue in the Bible. Israel was God's chosen people. He had and has a plan for Israel. So what the Bible says is nothing to take lightly or dismiss as irrelevant. It is the most important source of truth that there is. The first question you must therefore ask yourself is where do you stand in your personal relationship with God. The Bible tells us what that is. Each one of us is either a redeemed child of God or we are still in rebellion against God. That is the most important issue in life.

  32. I wasn't homeless but travelling by thumb once in the 1970s. Got dropped off in northern Ontario in the middle of the night and pitched my puptent between some shrubs in a grassy plot. Awakened by traffic noise and the morning sun, I discover I was camped in the median of a bloody freeway. Felt like an utter fool. Today, these people are homeless. Look at the Fraser Valley where people are living in broken down RVs, camper trucks and old trailers in rest areas and even parks right downtown. This is a problem we must address, and not simply by making them relocate.

  34. I made a few phone calls to the medical clinics in several small towns and found that in most if one wants to find a doctor, they must go on a waiting list and it could take 1-1/2 or 2 years to find a doctor. The only alternative is in some places a walk-in clinic is open for a few hours a couple times a week or one could travel to the nearest hospital ER and wait hours there to see a doctor. The hours a walk-in clinic is open varies from one place to another. However, walk-in clinics and ERs do not provide the same level of care as one's own doctor. They generally do not know the patient as well as one's own personal doctor does. I do not feel the level of care is the same in a walk-in clinic or ER. It is more like an assembly line service or fast food service compared with a good quality restaurant service. Millions of Canadians do not have their own doctor and very little if anything seems to be changing. This results in many people in Canada who have medical problems or needs are being left behind. This results is a kind of two level system for the care of Canadians. Some get reasonable medical care while millions are not getting the care they should. This also becomes worse as people get older. Many people will live shorter live spans as a result. All of this is unnecessary if government took the proper steps to fix the system. One thing governments and political leaders should be doing is studying the health care systems in European countries. Some of them reportedly have fairly good systems. We should not be locked into a failing system because of left wing ideology that only government can take care of us. They can't; they are under too many other demands and are governed by politics as well. The only solution I see is having private care alongside the public system. If we found enough doctors in the world to come to Canada this could alleviate the doctor shortage. The private care part would allow people who could afford private insurance to pay for the insurance which would fund the private doctors. In conjunction with this perhaps clinics with nurse practitioners working with doctors could provide improved services. Remove all the administrative and paperwork from doctors for one thing. I know many people think any kind of private care is bad because they believe the ideology that Socialism or a government run health care system is better. Sadly it is not better. It has proven a failure for many years. It does not and can not fund the public system well enough to provide an acceptable level of care and provide everyone with their doctor. Perhaps some kind of clinics with nurse practioners and doctors together could improve the system. Doctors are also required because of the bureaucracy of the public system to complete all kinds of paperwork and administrative duties take up too much of their time. That needs to end. But the government seems unable to change that. The system seems to be set up to benefit bureaucrats and unions. That is one of the major problems of public systems. It is rigged to benefit certain groups at the expense of the general public.

Or would you agree it has nothing to do with salvation?

  40. Ok if you as a Christian want to just throw insults that is your choice, but it is not Christian. I tried to discuss what salvation means but you can't discuss it rationally. Any orthodox Bible believing person knows all the info I posted about Romanism is a fact. The Bible backs up what I told you. I gave you many verses, and you refuted none. All you do is made ridiculous replies saying it is spam or absurd claims. Catholicism is a false religion. If you are not a Catholic, what are you? Perhaps Penticostal or ecumenist of some kind. You reject the truths of the Reformation, yet accept Romanism as legitimate Christianity. You don't accept the Bible.

  41. Thank you for answering. That doesn't clearly answer the question though. A person can be a Roman Catholic and believe any other religion or religious belief system is a cult. Usually people who believe in a certain religion consider every other religion as a cult. So when you say you don't ascribe to any religious cult, that could mean you are a Roman Catholic and don't ascribe to any other belief system because you consider them as a cult. Do you follow? The definition of cult according to the Merriam Webster dictionary online is: 1: a religion regarded as unorthodox or spurious So you could still believe in one religion and say you don't ascribe to any religious "cult", cult meaning any religious system that is not what you believe in. Let me put it this way, do you have any religious beliefs or association with any religious organization? Were you baptized in the Roman Catholic church or raised in it or just never attended it? Most RCs do not attend their church. Some possibly once or twice a year. Some have a loose connection to it and although they never attend it, they still consider themselves as RCs.

  42. Many people don't know much history, especially the violent history of Romanism. Rome ruled the western world for centuries and for four centuries they had the Holy Roman Inquisition. You can Google it and find books to read that describe what that was like. Anyone who did not bow the knee to Rome or anyone who questioned Rome by joining any group of Bible believers could be dragged before a tribunal of the Inquisition. They could be found guilty of heresy, imprisoned, tortured, or executed. An unknown number of so-called heretics were martyred over the centuries. Rome's religious system is a very complex system of beliefs. When people heard about what the Bible teaches they discovered the early system of Christianity from the time of Christ and the Apostles was a very simple faith. It was simply faith in Christ alone. There was no Pope, priests controlling everything in everyone's personal life through a confessional, no sacraments except a simple baptism of believers. So nobody had to be a slave to a rich, powerful church that controlled everyone's life for 1,700 years. When people heard what Christianity was like in the days of Christ, they were converted to Christ. This didn't sit well with Rome down through the centuries because then they lost control over these people. Hence the Inquisition. But there is a lot more to it than that. History is a long story and takes us up to today.

  43. PM Carney and the Liberals demands on Israel to stop fighting Hamas and demanding a two-state solution 7is the same as the terrorist's comment that killed two Jews Washington the other day saying "free Palestine". The PMs of the UK, Canada and several other countries are now in effect backing the continued existence of Hamas in Gaza. These armchair critics don't know anything about the situation in the middle east and how Israel's enemies want to see Israel eliminated. "For these neo-Nazis, ‘Free Palestine’ is simply the modern version of ‘Heil Hitler,’” Netanyahu said, adding that the shooter “wanted to kill Jews—nothing more." Jews have a 2,000 year history of being the victims of anti-Semitism in Europe and the world. They know what is going on in the middle east. They also know that a so-called two state solution is nothing more than a scheme to destroy Israel because the Palestinians have no interest in peace and no interest in allowing Israel to exist. Netanyahu: “‘Free Palestine’ is simply the modern version of ‘Heil Hitler”
