  1. US airlines had gone 16 years without a fatal crash until Wednesday night, clearly the woke DEI people were doing something right but the second Trump starts canning people this happens. I can't wait to see how things go when all the competent people in important public safety roles are replaced by 19-year old incel groypers.

  2. You sure respond to me an awful lot for ignoring me. Its ok though. I consider it a badge of honor. I present the information to you guys and it is so devastating to your egos that you stick your fingers in your ears and hum the communist anthem. Honestly, I'm glad that you ignore me. I really am. That leaves my voice unchallenged while you are challenged and unresponsive. That means those 3rd party readers that we don't see, view me as reasonable and you as....well....you.

  8. I'll preface everything I'm putting on here: This is all preliminary information. The information I have collected might change. In no way am I making any conclusions. JIA5342 is operated by PSA, a regional airline operating under the American Airlines flag. It was a CRJ700 that can hold 71 passengers and crew. It flew from KICT (Wichita KS) to KDCA (Washington DC Reagan). Here is the flight track: Flight Aware The helicopter was PAT 25. That is a helicopter that transports VIPs in the DC area. It is reported that it was on a training flight and carrying 4 people. This is reportedly the Radar that ATC for the incident. I can not verify that: https://x.com/ThatIdahoDude/status/1884906051822297487/video/2 JIA5342 was approaching the airport from the south. They had been cleared for an approach to runway 01. When they talked to the airport tower, they were asked by the tower if they could accept runway 33. After about a minute of silence, JIA5342 accepted the runway change. *A runway change requires the crew to verify landing performance, obstacle clearance and their ability to maintain a stable approach.* *KDCA likes to land on runway 33, when possible, because it effectively doubles the number of aircraft that can approach and depart relative to just using runway 01 for departure.* JIA5342 continued the approach and appears to have flown a stable approach that complied with all normal approach criteria. PAT 25 is reported to have been on a training mission. The tower reported the JIA5342 to PAT25. PAT25 requested to continue while maintaining visual separation. The tower approved that request. *This is a normal request. The helicopter was required to watch the aircraft and stay clear of the aircraft's path.* Moments later, the tower notices that the helicopter is in close proximity to the jet and assigns PAT25 instructions to pass behind the CRJ. PAT25 acknowledges and accepts the instructions. *It is likely that ATC issued the instructions in response to the CA (collision alert) they saw on their radar. The tower does not appear to ever alert the CRJ of the helicopter. This is the audio from the KDCA tower. The incident starts at about 12:00. LIVEATC.COM I know that JIA5342 was equipped with a TCAS (Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System). That system should have alerted the crew in the CRJ of traffic in their area. However, at low altitudes it does not provide separation guidance. It would, however, display the altitude of the helicopter. This is assuming the TCAS system was operational. Airlines do have the ability to operate aircraft without working equipment if they comply with a MEL (Minimum Equipment List). The MEL would have prescribed procedures for operating without the system and a time line for repair. It is not known if the system was operating at the time. I have seen people on X saying this accident is a result of DEI or Trump vacating all the seats at a committee. Neither DEI or some committee would have caused or prevented this accident. Saying either is the cause is speculation for political purposes and almost certainly wrong. Typical investigations into accidents take about two years to complete. Do not expect an answer soon. As a general statement, most accidents are due to pilot or controller error. Human error. I would expect this will be the case with this accident. I will let the investigation make that determination, though.

  9. One of the forum's best features, is the "ignore" function. When I see a post about their Orange God, I will give my 2 cents. Since we are dealing with a cult, all the hyenas start posting nonsense. What I have done, is put most of them on "ignore," so I can browse to a converse with a rational poster, like @Radiorum or others and have a civil conversation. However at time, if I want to see their reply, I just click their post, and it opens. There have been occasions, when I notice 12 posts in a row from the MAGA hyenas, and I avoid the contents of their posts. The forum experience is far more pleasant this way.

  10. The ignore feature is extremely lame unless against spam bots or unmoderated trolls. I think it's important to bear witness to their douchbaggery. To desensitize ones self to their presence and thus strengthen the fortitude needed to coexist with such people in the world without being moved to kneejerk reactions. And to understand the ideas that motivate their lemming-like movement.

  20. Only one way to learn. Most airports have a bunch of trainees or newbies swarming around them at all times. I mean, where else are they going to train? To be honest my old instructor used to tell me that training pilots and new pilots are usually the very safest, as well as the very old pilots. Everything's new for training pilot so they tend to keep doing their walkarounds, follow all the rules, never take a shortcut, and they're petrified of doing something wrong so they tend to really focus. Very old pilots only got old by doing the same thing and learning to never take shortcuts. It's the middle-aged pilots we're starting to get a little bored and everything's routine and they have never had a problem so far so they start cutting corners and those are the ones who usually get you into trouble according to him But yeah, airports are where the training facilities are pilots to specialty helicopter pilots. The airspace is always abuzz with newbies

  21. That's the worst part of all of this, and I'm a little surprised that trainings were allowed to be that close.

  22. "In keeping with the revolutionary media approach that President Trump deployed during the campaign, the Trump White House will speak to all media outlets and personalities — not just the legacy media who are seated in this room. According to recent polling from Gallup, Americans’ trust in mass media has fallen to a record low. Millions of Americans, especially young people, have turned from traditional television outlets and newspapers to consume their news from podcasts, blogs, social media, and other independent outlets. It’s essential to our team that we share President Trump’s message everywhere and adapt this White House to the new media landscape in 2025." https://www.niemanlab.org/2025/01/white-house-will-reserve-front-row-seats-in-press-briefings-for-influencers-podcasters-and-others-in-new-media/ Is it not beautiful?

  30. NATO is the Washington Treaty so NATO will not defend you from Washington but you have to consider how the Americans would defeat Canada it's not going to be by invasion the American arm of decision would be blockade effectively a naval blockade, which is what the Trump tariffs are in essence you can't take to the high seas to find a trading partner to replace the Americans so the Americans have got you by the balls, nary a shot fired America is a seapower; he who rules the waves rules the world, to include Canada it was actually in the face of the Fenian Raids of 1866 wherein the British Empire determined that it could no longer defend Canada from an American naval blockade that was actually the moment when America supplanted Britain as Canada's Hegemon Confederation 1867 was not Canada asserting independence Canadians did not want that in 1867, quite the opposite Confederation 1867 was Britain throwing Canada out of the Empire in the face of America with the Canadians kicking and screaming about it all the way this is why the Canadians charged into the First World War to prove to London that they were still British to the bone Vimy Ridge became the myth of Canadian Nationalism therein, but not in real time it wasn't until the 1930's that Canadians rallied around the Vimy Myth that was Canadian Nationalism right up to Expo 1967 then in 1968, the Trudeau Liberals replaced it with Multiculturalism hence how we got to the Post National State we live in now wherein, as you point out, the population is not indoctrinated to fight & die for the Colours quite the opposite in fact, the overwhelming majority being wholly unmartial cosmopolitans who view "tolerance" as being the highest virtue so Donald Trump has them at his mercy, no invasion required the idea that this soft as warm baby shit Canada would use nuclear weapons ? please, Canadians now are terrified of using guns, never mind nukes America wouldn't even need its military to invade Canada American civilians could just drive up here in their pickup trucks and take over with their AR15's

  33. Well as you are alluding to in order to see how our leadership does we will have to wait until we have leadership. He is literally prime minister right now. The earliest he's likely to stop being prime minister is may. And even that's questionable because jagmeet is seriously considering backing him because they are doing crappy in the polls. I think you're going to have a tough time claiming that the man who is currently sitting in the Prime Minister seat is history and long gone

  41. I repeat: they are the same figures he quoted exactly, do you understand what that means? That means the numbers are the same. And i never said or implied they were but you're still arguing about it because you're a hideous f*cking dork. I already said he misquoted the stat (the numbers themselves were accurate however). I don't even think you know why you're arguing, you're such a miserable twat that you don't know how to do anything else. 63 and 63 are the same numbers. So is 34 and 34. The numbers matched. So did the source. Me: these are probably the stats he's talking about, he got the age groups wrong tho You: those aren't the same numbers they aren't there's simply no way to determine if those numbers which happen to match exactly and come from the same source are the stats he was referencing it could be something else completely REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE like, just shut the f*ck up for once you loser. That's what I've been saying from the start but you're such a goddamn freak that you are compelled to try and "win" arguments that aren't even there because your lack of self esteem or something, IDK, it's pretty f*cked up though. Only you could turn an absolute nothing into an argument where you end up looking like an utter dipshit who should have his face stuffed into the office toilet.

  43. Plain stupid. According to Professor Ian Lee of Carleton University, the main trade irritants that the U.S. has with Canada are well documented in the USTR (United States Trade Representative) reports. Every country the U.S. trades with has it's own report and 'irritants'. Protectionist policies of 'supply management' Telecom Act which shuts out U.S. telecom providers Banking Act with its protectionist measures to shut out U.S. banks The airline industry and its protectionist measures And most recently digital taxes that discriminate against U.S. digital giants According to Lee, Trump and his economic advisors see tariffs as a tool to leverage other countries into opening up their markets to U.S. firms. What our politicians should be doing is sitting down with the Americans, opening up our free trade agreement and be prepared to put all our sacred cows on the table, in return for guarantees of no tariffs. 'To fight American protectionism is to get rid of our own protectionism'.
