If the Courts suck, then what does waving the Charter around accomplish, especially if you disagree with the most important parts of it? I'll answer for you. It's because you goobers are warping your brains into pretzels to make reality fit your fantasy. If you don't like what's being reported in the news, it's FAKE. When you don't like what doctors and scientists and health organizations/authorities are saying, they're all compromised. If you disagree with the government's decisions and legislation, they're communists or fascists or whatever evil you think sounds coolest today. If you disagree with the Courts, they're corrupt. When these are your answers to literally everything, it's clear how far you've descended into your delusions. Every time you repeat one of the above, the rest of Canada rolls their eyes at you and you further confirm what we already know - you're adult children having tantrums.3 points

The majority at one point have opposed human rights for a variety of people. This is no different... you've got alot of whacky people thinking opinion polls should supercede personal Healthcare decisions3 points
-
Why, you are no longer wanted in the streets. It should be pretty clear by now that a majority of Canadians are tired of a bunch of protesters telling them what’s good for them and holding them hostage. You have made your point and are turning people who sympathized against you. Quit before you dig a bigger hole.3 points
-
So Ontario/Canada have not been shut down because of the blocked bridge. And only a portion of that total trade volume (both directions) has been impacted because some has been re-routed. The economic hyperbole from protest critics only give the protesters more power.3 points

Your's is loud and proud. It's unfortunate because governments should have to justify their actions. Face it, you fucked up.2 points

A proven procedure used by governments/authorities to rid themselves of any group/individual they deem unacceptable: Demonize the group/individual in the press and on the airwaves, inflame the situation with innuendo and falsehoods . . . . . . let simmer, then offer 'the solution'. Elect a clown . . . expect a circus.2 points

You got to wake up. This is 21st century eugenics. Just look at their covid hystaria. These are the same people who have climate hysteria. Many of these left-wing lunatics believe that, if too many people are driving cars, the earth will go instinct. They got their covid science brutally wrong, just like their climate science is brutally wrong. Why is Trudeau risking a civil war over a few unvaccinated truckers? They want us to take vaccines every 3 months now, it seems to me like they want to get rid of the population.2 points

1. That's the first I've heard they were protesting the BUILDING 2. Allow ? Oh right... this is the version of Freedom we'll have when the Convoy Government of Pat King gets in. Some protests are allowed and some not. 3. If the Ottawa Police did their job, if the OPP did something, if the protesters went home after their point had been made...2 points

you put democracy before rule of law if you were in favor of rule of law you wouldn't support stripping the unvaccinated of their rights you support tyranny so long as it is popular1 point

Based on what? CBC's propaganda? Trudeau's unsubstantiated accusations? What's wrong with their demands? Do you have a reasonable defence for the vaccine mandates? Do you have a reasonable defence for the vaccine passports? That would be unique.1 point
-
Sure it does. Substantiate your claim. I know you find it almost impossible to provide proof or citation for anything you say, but the percentage absolutely matters. It's completely absurd to suggest it's not. By your boneheaded logic, if ONE dude somewhere maybe had a heart complication (related or otherwise) or if there was even claims that he did, that would be enough justification.1 point

It's not Trudeau. Ford will fully support Trudeau as said by Ford. It's the political system and it won't change. Why in two weeks and not now? What will happen in two weeks when countries removed restrictions weeks ago and some, never had them? No, it's not about Ford or Trudeau, two weeks or twenty. It's about the system that came to like managing little people, as it feels and knows best for their own good and for as long as necessary. We are clearly past that line and in a new territory. And I have no idea how we could go back, or could we?1 point

1. Thank you. 2. For not wearing a mask or not getting a vaccine ? That's just ridiculous. Tens of millions of vaccines distributed and Canada is doing very well in comparison to most similar countries. It's not tyranny to refuse service to someone who doesn't conform to good health practices.1 point

And you think vaccine ID and our prime minister saying things like "should we tolerate the unvaccinated?" And people like yourself portraying the unvaccinated as grandma killers or terrorists is going to do anything to help the situation?1 point

Well, it a good thing this serious "existential threat" to Canada's economy has been dealt with and auto parts can more easily flow again. We don't know how much longer Canada could have survived !1 point

you know a lot of these cops are going to end up alcoholics & drug addicts on way to an early grave crushing your own people under jackboots for Joe Biden & Xi Jinping that's the sort of thing that comes back to haunt you deep down, you know you are a filthy disgusting coward and traitor maybe you can lie to yourself for awhile, but that's how serious addiction issues tend to come about and over time it hollows you out, you become suicidal, self destructive, they will start self medicating1 point

So what ? The trucking freight and other services are just delayed or re-routed. Ontario has not been "shut down". If closing one bridge brings Canada to its knees, then there is another serious problem that goes far beyond weeks of protests. Protests are perfectly legal...actually a Charter right. A judge had to grant an injunction to stop them...after the fact. Nothing new about protests...even in Canada.1 point

Indeed, this was the turning point for me once I knew that the truckers were being led by professional RCMP & CAF officers, they had my support but this was the call for help from the brotherhood this is where I had to come and join them in the field stand to, stand to1 point

OK, but Canada is not shut down, despite rhetoric to the contrary. Government Covid measures have had a much greater impact than a blockaded bridge. How is that Gordie Howe International Bridge project going ? Is it blockade proof ? Michigan is not shut down either...Detroit traffic map just shows a closed Ambassador bridge. The world is not ending for workers on either side of the border. Its a peaceful protest...is suppose to be a pain in the ass by design.1 point

I am not going to do anything violent this is peaceful protest and passive resistance if the Mounties come for me I will say that Justin Trudeau is a criminal the orders you have been given are unlawful remember your oaths & affirmations sworn to defend and uphold Canada against illegitimate tyrants like Justin Trudeau & Doug Ford and to protect & serve the Canadian people decline to obey the unlawful edicts of these politicians who you know to be repugnant join us in defending the Queen of Canada against these usurpers we are the lawful authority, Justin Trudeau is the one you should be arresting, and you all know it remember the Nuremberg Principles, "I was just following orders" is not a defence but I'm not going to fight them if they put me in handcuff and haul me away they will only be radicalizing millions of Canadian against the government all the more if they do let them roll over their own decorated veterans with their jackboots, it will backfire exponentially1 point

King is not one of the organizers. The organizers have tried to separate themselves from him, but MSM keeps aligning him with the organizers because he is loud and vocal and has a following. He is not a part of any of the updates, daily reports, videos, interviews, meetings that the convoy has. I have not seen him on any of the information coming directly from the convoy organizers. I don't follow him on any of his channels. He represents himself. I believe early on, he tried to be a part of the organization because he has been fighting the mandates for a lot longer, but was rejected by the convoy, for just this type of screed. IMO, he wants fame or notoriety for being a part of the protest because he could never get average Canadians to follow him, but honestly, the actual organizers have never featured him in any video, interview or meeting. One of the people who the organizers work closely with is Chris - who owns the Whistle Stop Cafe in Mirror, AB. Chris does live videos every day - of the protest, interviews with Brain Peckford, Dr. Paul Alexander, Dr. Roger Hodkinson, Dr. Byram Bridle, etc. Chris realized early on that our Charter rights were being violated and took it upon himself to fly out to BC to speak personally with Brian Peckford. They are actually good friends now. Chris is never identified in MSM as one of the convoy insiders, I think because there is not dirt on him. If you want to know about what the convoy is protesting, you should watch this video: (Perhaps you can finally put to rest your accusations that the convoy is about white supremacy) https://www.facebook.com/whistlestoptruckstopcafe/videos/3105001344552841 point

1. What is government? An INSTITUTION, doh. You know, like where they put yo mama? 2. Protesting the government should be a human right, protected by law. The individual has a right to speak to power. 3. People protest on the hill all the time. I myself did once, years ago. There’s special interest groups and rallies every day and on weekends. People come out for it, it’s part of the economy. They even have Obama cookies at the By-Ward market Bakery. I asked if they had any Trump cookies, but was told no. Then they gave me funny looks. Whole place is political, I tell you.1 point

The part to the media that bothers me the most is the corrections. The news will issue their story with false data which everyone reads and remembers….then a time after initial print, they realize the error and subtly correct it in the article with the only mention of the correction at the bottom of the page. Here’s a prime example https://www.google.ca/amp/s/beta.ctvnews.ca/national/coronavirus/2021/12/16/1_5709786.html Correction: A previous version of this article stated that the risk of contracting a serious side-effect after COVID-19 vaccination is less than one in a million. The correct figure, based on data reported to the Public Health Agency of Canada, is roughly one in 10,000. So the initial article left 99% of the readers thinking vaccination causes a serious side effect in one out of 1,000,000 yet the true number is actually 1 out of 10,000. No wonder why people are so misinformed!!1 point

The wealthy elites in India said Trudeau was involved in fundraising and money laundering to prop up a farming insurrection in New Delhi, so they're sending funds to Canada to give Trudeau a taste of his own medicine.1 point

Yea because those groups know where authoritarianism ends for them. Historically it hasn't been good. Because while today it's anti-vaxxers, tomorrow a new enemy group is needed to justify the totalitarian state. It struck me when a journalist commented just how many immigrants were at the protests. That many of them had escaped oppressive regimes to come to Canada. They don't want Canada to become what they got away from. Can kinda relate in a dark way.1 point
