I know. I know that's click baitesque. However, consider this:

The Ohio AG says there is evidence of pets being stolen and eaten:

Yost took to X to condemn "the media" for overlooking these remarks after former President Trump mentioned the rumors during Tuesday night's presidential debate.

“There’s a recorded police call from a witness who saw immigrants capturing geese for food in Springfield,” he said. “Citizens testified to City Council. These people would be competent witnesses in court. Why does the media find a carefully worded City Hall press release better evidence?”

There is a video of a woman eating a cat, though I believe that was in another town. I would say that the actual town it happened in isn't that important. What is more important is:

I would also add that dangerous driving seems to be the number one concern in Springfield.

But, look at why we are talking about this. Trump said something outrageous. People called him a liar. Then people started looking at the underlying story. Now, people know that illegal aliens from Haiti have caused a lot of problems in Springfield Ohio.

Is the cat eating issue a huge problem? Probably not. But the bigger problem went from under the radar to national headlines in about 30 minutes. The genius of what he did goes unspoken.

The person who testified at the city council about Haitians eating pets was literally a neo-Nazi.

Except most of the immigrants aren't illegal and they aren't causing problems. In fact they're helping revitalize a town that was dying.

I'm not sure it's just the alt right claiming as such though it's easy to just pass of any concerns that way I suppose. 

Former Democrat party candidate Marianne Williamson believes it may be related to some voodoo practices that are common in Haiti. 

I personally dont know if its true as I don't live there. But I guess if a former Democrat candidate says it we should take it seriously in the current rules of engagement we operate in, no?

Well, if Trump wasn’t completely deranged and demented, he may have pointed out those facts. Instead, he chose to make up nonsense about immigrants eating dogs and cats.
