He got so many people donating to him that the site crashed. Move aside Reagan. The new landslide winner is coming.

It’s obviously fake news…or rigged news…disgraceful really.  It’s the most disgraceful thing in the history of the world.  It’s true,  it’s true.

Nobody's denying the donation website crashed.  Of course he's going to fundraise off of it.  Trump feeds of his victimhood.

What's funny is how the conspiracy clownosphere decries outlets like the NYT as MSM fake news, but then unsurprisingly cites them when it says something you LIKE.

When you complain about MSM fake news, you should just admit that you're curating your own reality. 🤣

No because if he cited Fox News you all would claim fake news. I will always cite a liberals news site if they are reporting the same thing as Fox because you all can't disregard it based on the messenger.

Trump campaign announces $35M fundraising haul after guilty verdict

Pay the greedy news outlet what it wants and read the story then.

Or better yet, go to the site itself, donate the lowest possible amount and confirm it that way.

I do that all the time. It's called rubbing YOUR sources in YOUR faces. If you disagree with it then you have to trash your own source. It's a very good practice. ;)

Yeah I understand the "logic".   The problem is that you're tacitly admitting that these sites report the actual news, and not only what its audience wants to hear.

The same cannot be said for Fox News.  😑

Most major paper is reporting it's true,  Including usa today, NBC, etc.  I presume you're not going to try to say NBC posts 'fake news" in FAVOUR of trump :)

trump website crashes - Google Search

Honestly you could have done that yourself.  This is why you get so mad when you lose discussions.

You literally called it fake news.

Don't worry about it.  Moonbox has a habit of backtracking what he said previously when he's shown to be wrong, he's just trying to spin his initial reaction positively rather than have to admit he was wrong.  Again.  It's his thing

The initial point is still entirely valid. There has been a huge rush of people to donate to trump's campaign in light of this. The initial reaction seems to be that a lot of people are outraged. It'll be a little while before we can say for sure but it certainly initially feels like this is going to actually be a big boost for trump as far as the election goes.

They are all trying to appear non biased so when it is a big story that they can't just ignore they print it. There are plenty of instance on all news media where they ignore stories or bury them when they don't match their worldview. Just because they printed this story doesn't change the fact they have ignored or mislead on a myriad of other stories

Well as we can see from the comments that's not the case. Everybody else thought you were being serious. They're kind of used to you being an !diot So it's entirely plausible for people to assume you're just being dumb as a stump again until you clarify.

Kind of sounds like you just backtracking saying as always.

well that's the thing. This judge has gone through incredible contortions to even allow this case in the first place, basically he's violated a number of legal principles to try and bring trump to trial, he ran for election based on going after trump, he gave instruction to the jury that is absolutely shocking, and he's disallowed everything that the defense asked for.

After going that far is it really plausible to believe that he's not going to go all the way? The whole point of this was to take trump out for the election, the timing of every step of it has been coordinated based on that.

I suppose it's possible he could order house arrest instead of jail time. They might try to argue it was a compromise position so that he could still at least attend his rallies by Zoomclaim it's proof that they didn't try and wipe them out entirely.

But it's hard for me to believe that this guy isn't going to do something more than just a suspended sentence after going so far already. We'll see what the public backlash is, that may color things strongly

There is no law stating that they have to print/publish every story. They get to pick and choose what they write and you get to pick and choose what you read.

I envision Mr. Chump asking Artificial Intelligence how to evade jailtime and AI advising him to dye his hair fluorescent green and plead insanity.
