If people thought saving lives was more important than control over one's own body we wouldn't have abortion rights.

Candice Bergen and Pollievre would be horrible choices and they would lose by a landslide.

Seeing we have leaders on the Liberal side including Ottawa's mayor actually considering using the Army to end protests...who should be the choice? Sounds like ending elections might not be too far off.

popular vote is irrelevant

they need to find someone who isn't like O'Toole

not a French O'Toole

O'Toole wasn't the CPC's biggest problem, their problem was many of their candidates/MP's are ignorant morons.  Best thing CPC MP's and candidates can do is not talk ever because then nobody could find out what's actually going on in their brains, which is often a whole lot of stupidity.

Same goes for the Liberals, NDP, and Greens btw.  But Quebecers prefer french-flavoured stupid.  They would never, ever vote for Jagmeet Singh because Quebec is filled with racists.

Just skip the middle-man and make the monarchy a round-table of the CEO's from the 5 major Canadian banks.

The climate issue is sketchy as a real issue to spend tax dollars on.  Certainly if it’s a real thing, and it probably is, carbon taxes won’t do anything about it except squeeze Canadians further financially.  Happening now.  Simple green tax incentives and building code changes would do more without adding to our already high cost of living, but we need a CPC leader who can articulate that and who doesn’t care when the tree hugger meth addicts on pogey start their dumpster fires.  Basically we need a PM who cares about bread and butter issues like jobs and cost of living and keeps the surly ignorant kids out of the press scrums.  No identity politics either.

Yep, Conservatives definitely need a leader who isn't afraid to identify the millions upon millions of Canadians who take climate change seriously as tree hugging meth addicts on pogey.

Nobody identifies Conservatives better than a conservative around here does.  They're an absolutely perfect match.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

O'Toole was total trash

good riddance

the CPC will just pick another Scheer/O'Toole type

they are allergic to real opposition

and would rather just be the blue liberals

they relegate themselves to a party not worth voting for

with their constant cucking

I predict this time they'll finally pick a candidate who caters to their base and they'll finish well behind the NDP and, of course, Justin in the next election

Do you think O’Toole looks at Bernier and wishes he was sitting at home drinking wine cuz he couldn’t win his riding?

Le’Tool might be looking for a new party. Maybe give People’s Party a seat, that would kick the PC big fat asses.

their base are cucks

closer to the Democrats than Republicans

the right wing in Canada is a fringe minority

including among the CPC

they won't finish behind the NDP

I agree the likes of you are a fringe minority, even in the CPC. But they'll cater to you anyway and that will put them in the political wilderness.

They are not mutually exclusive. You run into these mental blocks when your brain is wired on binary. I bet it happens a lot

they are mutually exclusive

cuckservatives are the base

they are conservatives in name only

basically liberals

are you saying liberals are a fringe minority despite dominating Canadian politics and the CPC too?

you are the one can only think in binary, believing that there is some huge difference between the LPC and CPC

the idea that a far right fringe minority is the CPC base is nowhere near factual

I'm not the one imagining what I'm "pretending". The CPC base is the CPC base. I made no attempt to define it. But they're likely to begin catering to them along with the extremists like you. In a non-binary world, they can do both.

if you can't define what the base is

or who I am

then how will you know who they are catering too?

Stop trying to apply rationality to the mindset of the typical person.

There are a million contradictions in the mechanics of any society and pointing them out will get you the grand prize of cricket sounds.  I know because I do it all the time ;)

I think the new CPC should have a slogan with the word "cucks" in it.

we are cucks

would be a truthful tag line

but politicians are of course loathe to tell the truth
