Canada hasn't received this much international attention since, hmmm, perhaps ever.

Whatever you think about the convoy nobody can deny that Trudeau is a coward and shit-weasel.

Nonsense.   This occupation has dragged on for three weeks and the police didn't seem to get their act together until the Emergency Measures Act was enacted.  It's hard to deny that the Act seems to have done the trick.

from an operational standpoint

the police action has stalled on the objective

they've been stopped in their tracks

the police having been thinning

the protestors lines are too deep to safely advance

the protestors are singing O Canada uproariously then crying "freedom !"

The Oka crisis.  Two dead, and deploy the army because Indians.

White people park in the capital for three weeks and ARE OUTRAGED that they have to leave.

I'm very confused as to what they thought was going to happen...

Oka did not get this much international attention.   Oka did not cause similar actions in other nations.   Oka did not trigger the Emergencies Act.

Pretty disgusting that people are so jubilant by old ladies in walkers getting trampled by a horse.

"Bu but the government told them they don't have rights and to go home".

Bunch of CTV bleaters on here.

there's nothing even close

this is the first truly global Canadian event

everybody in the world will remember the day Canada went full totalitarian

this is world history, which Canada has never made on its own

so by that measure the most consequential event in Canadian history

right up there with Queenston Heights

Been watching it most of the afternoon. Evan Solomon has been great at letting protesters have their say and explaining their different points of view. When they start yelling at him he asks them to come over and explain. You don't get much more balanced.

I lived through the fall of the Iron Curtain

and this is what it was like

the tyrants overplayed their hands

the protestors called their bluffs

the whole world was watching

then the ball of yarn started to unravel

Haha, because the police have more sense than JT.

By the same token, it is hard to deny the convoy seems to have done the trick too, you like it or not.

Now Ottawa police is saying the old lady's walker was actually a bicycle and someone threw it at them.

No, you trampled an old lady with your horse and it sent her walker flying.

Lady is now dead. Lefties dance with glee

Leftists have some serious issues with the truth

Got a link? Any idiot can tell the difference between a bike and a walker.

oh my word

they've got an Indian dance circle going, with the native women singing and drumming

the Mounties are just standing there gawking, they don't know what else to do

they are completely stalled on the objective
