Trump owes Ukraine nothing...shank 'em !

Dear Vlad, you know I love you and think you are a great man. don't bother about what people say about you... you know that you run a corrupt empire, with you being the most corrupt of them all. that's why you're so great! and yeah, ok, your hobby of killing people might not be cool, but hey, nobodys perfect! but yeah, I really appreciate all that money you spent on my empty condo projects and its great for you to send that money out of the country because we know those stupid little people will throw you out eventually. you gotta think about your retirement! anyways, I got people cheering for you in the US now! only three years ago when the Ukrainian people had that silly revolution and "your guy" had to flee to Russia with tens of billions... how rude! that hurt you I know. and then you just invaded, you know, somebodies got to teach them a lesson. and then they wanted to join NATO! on your border? how rude! but most of all, the loss of corrupt profit from that little country just hurts your bottom line. just so you know, I'm there for you bro.

love D Trump

well, I guess that didn't work out then? you know... double down and continue? why did Trump chicken out?

oh but they weren't lying about the other excuses! were they? I mean, which is it exactly?

why did they try to cover it up?

if Trump was a strong leader he would just say "I owe nothing to Ukraine, I shanked them... i'll do it again! watch me!"

Trump doesn't have the intellect to actually implement a cohesive strategy. He just lies to create his own narrative and hopes the Rubes that follow him buy it.

Typical Con Man routine.

If the Con Man routine is more effective than a "cohesive strategy" then the former is the smarter move, not the later. Just win baby.

If she did, and I couldn't care either way, it still doesn't mean that Trump was doing something wrong by asking about an investigation into crowdstrike, because crowdstrike only has to do with Trump-Russia, not Biden-Ukraine. Get it?

If she proved that crowdstrike was pertinent to Biden somehow then you'd have a link between the Javs and Biden from the transcripts.

Investigating Biden is only for political purposes. Trump extorted a foreign leader to do a political investigation. That's the crime.

This doesn't make any sense.

So it would have been OK for Trump to investigate the Bidens riding dirty in Ukraine if Joe wasn't a political figure / candidate ?

I think it was made clear that Trump can "Investigate" Biden all he wants. It was assumed that's what Rudy was doing. It's what Barr is spending all his time doing right now as well.

Where it became scandalous was that he was using the demand that Ukraine needs to announce investigations into the Biden's (basically a cudgel for a potential future campaign) in exchange for any access to Trump or much needed Military funding. This Quid Pro Quo that everyone is talking about.

Does any sensible person defend the tweets at this stage? Right through the trials of his associates Trump kept up the commentary, encouraging them to lie. In many European countries the head of government doing that would have led to an immediate mistrial. In the current hearings he has repeatedly attacked the credibility of witnesses testifying about his own actions. It is extraordinary.

I don't think there are any leaders of any Western Democracy on the plant that hold Trump with any level of esteem. He's gone out of his way to trash all of them while praising brutal dictators.

That was footage of yesterday's hearing.

Personally I'd be pissed off all the time if I had to sit within spitting distance of Jim Jordan and Devin Nunes for a 2 weeks straight.

It's the exact moment I was referring to...not whatever you're on about. He's mad his wee plan didn't work out.

Semantics I suppose.

You said Schiff was pissed that no one was talking about Impeachment in the MSM Today.

1) How can footage from yesterday verify that.
2) Impeachment is all over the MSM today. Mostly about next steps.

No I didn't, disingenuous one.

All I know is that Schiff was REALLY angry as the proceedings closed AND NOBODY is talking about it today...at least in the non-Fox media.

...not and that.

I'd be Angry if I had to listen to those GOP stooges obfuscate all day. Has nothing to do with the media coverage today.

How do Republicans take Jim Jordan seriously? Dude looked the other way when kids were being molested on a wrestling team he coached?

But Al Franken had to go.

That's not true at all.

Trump was conducting foreign affairs with a country that just got slapped around and pillaged by the Obama administration.

Ukrainians aren't stupid. They know that they "help" they received (how much military aid exactly?) from the Obama government, while their Ukrainian soldiers were dying, came at the expense of extremely high-paying, cushy jobs being gifted to the Democrat carpetbaggers.

The most blatant offenders were the Bidens, like pigs at the trough, and then Joe Biden flagrantly used the weight of the US government as a weapon to get Ukraine's top prosecutor fired when their profiteering racket was threatened. Then Joe Biden went on TV and bragged that he slapped around the Ukrainian justice department and put his own "solid" (sycophant) guy in charge.

You don't think that Ukrainians know that the Bidens just stole their lunch money Boges? You don't think that normalizing relations with Ukraine requires upsetting the apple cart a bit? What went on under Obama and Biden was an atrocity.

You can try to make the point that the US and the Ukraine should try to have a working relationship while ignoring the elephant in the room but don't try to pass that off as wisdom or democratic principles when it's just blatant ignorance. Biden committed heinous crimes against the Ukraine. The fact that Biden and CNN say "it was looked into and everything's fine" should be alarming to you. There was far less evidence that Trump did anything wrong and the FBI & the Dems made a 3 yr long public spectacle of a trial out of it.

The fact that Obama isn't endorsing Biden should suddenly make sense to you now. He's treating Biden like dogcrap on his heel because Biden is a threat to Obama's legacy. He doesn't want to be remembered as Biden's partner in crime.

Poor Adam Schiff lol. He's the biggest liar in the history of politics and you think he should feel bad because he has to listen to people who don't drink his Kool-Aid.

I'm not defending Biden.

But extorting another country to investigate Biden is a High Crime and/or a Misdemeanor.

These debates break down because you really believe having Shotkin fired was to protect Hunter Biden. All evidence points to the fact that actually gave Hunter Biden more exposure.

Even if that were true, the Democrats failed to prove their case with first hand evidence.   They can still have the impeachment they have sought since January 2017, but no way the Senate rolls over and removes Trump.    This is pure political theater on both sides.

Trump still has succeeded in labeling Joe Biden as the corrupt candidate that some Democrats will walk away from, forcing more of a lefty socialist for the 2020 rumble.   The GOP will make a spectacle of Biden and others as witnesses in the Senate if there is a trial, where they control the show.

This is pure political theater on both sides with a predetermined outcome.
