The U.S. and Canada deport human rights back to where they came from every day.

Only after their right to a hearing that is.

You actually have to take that right away to do what you'd really like to see happen, which is probably a border guards bullet thru their heads.

No such right exists....it is a figment of the "progressive" imagination....like many such things.

You should put that in your signature to warn people off of your method of sourcing information.

Hey, you told me that you could not find anything on Merkle and I just pointed it out to you as to how easy it was to find out that she was Jewish. What? Are you trying to say here that I should not try and get the information I require from the internet now? What method would you suggest then?

Well, I have pointed out that there is no commonly available information that she is Jewish.  You are now coming up with a conspiracy of silence, that she is Jewish and conspiring to bring Muslims to Germany.

I guess I am here to point out sanity, in case some people don't know what it is.

So, the internet is not a source for required information now? Well what is?  It would appear as though you are trying to hide the fact that she is Jewish, right? It's all just conspiracy nonsense, right? Ya, tell that story to the lunatics that will listen to you.

It's more like you are here to try and push insanity. Just saying in Englishes. :D

There is nothing illegal about a human being showing up at Canada or the US border and requesting a hearing for their case for admission.

The Immigration and Refugee Protection Act requires that every person seeking to enter Canada must appear for an examination at a port of entry to determine whether that person has a right to enter Canada, or may become authorized to enter and remain in Canada.

What is illegal, according to Canadian law, is denying human beings that chance.

It's also illegal in the US too.

Refugee law

Most conservatives, especially social/religious one's, completely lack the moral and ethical background required to speak to this issue.  I can't speak to Trudeau or the Liberals only being in it for the votes but for what its worth I wouldn't put it past them.  That said, if the Liberals were honestly upholding the law for humanitarian reasons would you really feel any differently?

It is illegal to try and sneak into a country thru the back door. That is committing a criminal offence to do so. If one wants to immigrate to Canada than do it the right way.

"What is illegal"? Look above. There are millions of refugees all over the world and if Canada is going to allow these last few thousand criminal illegals into Canada illegally and maybe get to stay here than I guess the rest of those million of refugees out there are going to try and do the same. It's called protecting our borders and the citizen's that live above that border line. Maybe you are a one world order socialist and all for open borders but I am certainly not. Otherwise if we are not going to do something about all of these criminals entering our country illegally than why do we bother having a border at all? Lay off all the border people and tear down the border booths and buildings.

I do not understand why people like you cannot see what is happening here and appear to support all this illegal activity going on.

It is the conservative minded people who do have the moral and ethical background to want to see and have things done right and proper. It is the liberals that do not have any morals or ethics to speak to any issue. That will be the day when the liberals will ever be honest with the people and upholding the law. They are liars and anti-Canadian. My opinion.

I stand corrected.  Let me rephrase: these lies were projects that were small in scope, easy to coordinate, and hinged on over-publicizing them to the world to gain political traction on falsehood.  I am thinking of the incubators lie here: it was a PR firm getting one person to lie in front of many cameras.  These are lynchpin issues that can turn political tide at sensitive times.

It's informative to look at how these were found out when considering whether JFK and 9/11 Conspiracies could be manageable operations.

The problem with most people is that they refuse to check out and do some research on their own. Either they are just to lazy or just don't give a chit. They will not bother to try and get the other side of the story just like you. The other side of the story as reported by so many people who actually did their research have come up with some pretty good convincing evidence that there may be more to the JFK or 9/11 events than what the MSM and the politicians are trying to sell to we the people. I thank gawd for the alternative media or else I would be just as stunned and stupid as most people are today in the world about any and everything. Listening to the MSM and politicians today will only get one lies and bull chit excuses.

Yeah that person was the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the USA. IT was a PR company in the USA that coordinated it.   I understand this is getting off topic for this thread. I'll stop.

The refugee system is in a shambles and the number of new applicants every month greatly exceeds the cases they can settle. And the applications are growing in number. Most now are Nigerians who are specifically going to the US in order to cross the border into Canada because they can't get visas to come straight here.

It’s unlikely illegal crossings will stop on their own
When the wave of border-crossing began in early 2017, the migrants were reported to be mostly Haitians fearing deportation from the U.S. after Trump announced the end of temporary amnesty enacted in the wake of the 2010 Haiti earthquake. Recently, the demographics have changed and border-crossers are now predominantly Nigerian. What’s more, most appear to be entering the United States on recently acquired tourist visas for the sole purpose of slipping into Canada. “They land in the United States, where they stay for a very short period of time, and then make their way to Canada,” Hursh Jaswal, communications director for Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen, told the Canadian Press.

Once an asylum seeker is deemed to be a refugee claimant, they are able to obtain work permits, as well as access to Canadian healthcare, public schools and even social assistance.

And who is to blame? One man, mainly.

The Conservatives claim that a single Trudeau tweet started this (and they might have a point)
In January last year, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted, “to those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith.” It was a direct response to U.S. president Donald Trump’s so-called “travel ban,” an executive order banning all travel from seven countries with large Muslim populations. Trudeau’s post has received 412,000 retweets to date, making it one of the most circulated tweets of 2017. In a recent House of Commons speech, Conservative public safety critic Pierre Paul-Hus called the tweet “the root of” illegal border crossings. And the data seems to back him up. The month before the Tweet, the RCMP intercepted 315 illegal border-crossers. The next month that doubled to 678 — and kept climbing until it reached a peak of 5,712 by August, 2017.

Why do we even have a border any more?  Why bother having the RCMP there?  If we're just going to let anyone who wants to walk into Canada and start getting freebies, we could at least save some $$ by not having the RCMP at the borders - it's not like they're there to enforce anything.

But the MSM tells the truth at least part of the time.  If you are looking for the 'other side' then you are looking for lies.  That's a tautology in your reasoning.

The MSM never tells the truth especially when it comes to Donald Trump. They are all just a bunch of actors and activists liars. "Tautology". You like to use fancy Englishes words, don't you? You are not impressing me in anyway. Tautology is pretty much what the lying and fake MSM does all the time every day. Repeat the same old bull chit enough times and some people will start to believe it even if it is all just lies. According to Mueller and the left wing liberal lying media they all said that Trump had been colluding with the Russians, and yet the alternative media said he was not, and they were right. But of course to you the "other side" doesn't know what they are talking about and are only spreading lies, right?

She is Jewish. I don't think what I read on the internet about Merkle was a bad source for my information at all. What makes you come up with the idea that what I read on the internet was a bad source for information about Merkle being Jewish? Why should I not believe what I read on the internet about Merkle being Jewish? And most of all, why should I believe you? Over.

Canada faced its last major wave of migrants from the United States in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks. This prompted the government of Jean Chretien to draw up the Safe Third Country Agreement with the United States. This agreement holds that any non-American seeking refugee protection at the U.S./Canada border must have first filed a refugee claim with the Americans. Thus, it effectively allows guards at Canadian land borders to turn away most asylum seekers on the grounds that they are already in a safe country.  There’s just one problem: The agreement only refers to refugee claims made at a “port of entry.” Thus, if someone slips past a port of entry and enters Canada illegally in order to make an inland asylum claim, the agreement doesn’t apply.

I was not aware of this. Seeing as would-be migrants are well versed in our laws and their loopholes, it's no wonder they opt to enter at illegal crossings since the safe third country agreement is not enforceable in such cases.

People will always find ways to get around the laws/rules. That's why we should enforce the "spirit" of the law - and make legislative changes as quickly as possible. In other words, do what's right. That's what Canadians expect - not only in this context. Do what's right.

I guess people have failed to notice the world has been border-less for decades as far as money goes - and that's one of the reasons so many economic refugees are now on the move.  Folks were warned this would happen when we started down the road towards globalization but....stupid us we created a one-world economy without a one-world government in place to deal with it.

Power to the migrants I say, partly because its gratifying to see so many anti-immigrant whiners having their noses rubbed in it but mostly because I think its unconscionable that we let money roam the world in search of greener pastures but not the human beings that are so often displaced by migrant money.

Oh and in case you missed it last time, we haven't seen anything yet - just wait until environmental migration starts kicking into higher and higher gear.

Good luck with that.  Maybe you could practice on money first.

Naive - I know.....but it's what drives people to what the status quo calls "populism".

I hear you.

Our Prime Minister threw open our country's doors to migrants in a tweet which circulated around the world. He may think it's the right thing to do. Yet he failed to think of the immediate burden placed on the resources needed to make that workable. He is prone to  blurting out grand plans without a thought for their impact and implementation.

Just like Marijuana - he blurted it out in his campaign saying he would immediately legalize it. What happened? "Storefronts" opening all over Ontario - if not the whole country. All totally illegal. The cops didn't know WHAT to do. All sorts of wasted policing and court time - and it's still going on. And there are still a myriad of issues to sort through. Don't mean to misdirect this thread - it's just another example of how naive and irresponsible this man-child is.

We have ridiculous expectations of a child whose greatest achievement in life was to be a drama teacher.

That's just a slag.  Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger were both actors.  Vaclav Havel was a writer.  Greatness comes from different places and there's no telling where.  Even Trump could have been great if he had good character.

Is it a slag, i mean has Canada ever had a PM that has not come from money, or huge family name ? not many examples, so while i agree with you greatness can come from anywhere....Here in Canada it seems to be limited to those with access to lots of cash and backing of a powerful family name.....
