betsy Posted May 5, 2016 Author Report Posted May 5, 2016 I believe that running for VP along with a President Trump will not be a career booster for any politician. That's what you believe. Didn't you believe Trump wouldn't make it as the nominee? Quote
Big Guy Posted May 5, 2016 Report Posted May 5, 2016 That's what you believe. Didn't you believe Trump wouldn't make it as the nominee? That is correct. He is not the nominee yet. betsy Posted May 5, 2016 Author Report Posted May 5, 2016 (edited) That is correct. He is not the nominee yet. How is that? He's nominee by default - there's no one else left standing except him! Edited May 5, 2016 by betsy Quote

Big Guy Posted May 5, 2016 Report Posted May 5, 2016 Well, she did! Loud and clear! Opponents were decimated! They had to withdraw. Could it be.....you're just in denial? So, you believed wrong. I have made many mistakes in my life in believing something to be true that later proved to not be. My point is there is still time between now and July 21. Strange things happen in politics. About 5% of the population of the USA has mental problems. That translates into about 15 million Americans. It is estimated that there are about 400 million guns in the USA. There is a petition that guns be allowed into the convention. That may change things. If after this convention Donald is declared the Republican candidate then I will admit that I was mistaken. Any time you take a stand on the results of a competition there is the possibility that you will be wrong. eyeball Posted May 5, 2016 Report Posted May 5, 2016 Good grief, can you imagine the conspiracy that would spawn? The next Trump would have a field day with it. Quote I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, oh fanatical criminal
betsy Posted May 18, 2016 Author Report Posted May 18, 2016 When will we know who'll run as vice president? Quote
Hal 9000 Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 When will we know who'll run as vice president? Probably the convention. My money on Gingrich, but I also think it depends on what Trump needs to secure certain areas. Quote The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they're ignorant; it's just that they know so much that isn't so. - Ronald Reagan I have said that the Western world is just as violent as the Islamic world - Dialamah Europe seems to excel at fooling people to immigrate there from the ME only to chew them up and spit them back. - Eyeball Unfortunately our policies have contributed to retarding and limiting their (Muslim's) society's natural progression towards the same enlightened state we take for granted. - Eyeball

taxme Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 Who will Trump pick as a running mate? In his Costa Mesa speech, he said that he was going to be "nice" to Jeb Bush......but not anymore after he found out he slammed him (Trump) in an interview with NBC. Then Trump said, "we need high-energy people. We don't need low-energy." Was he planning on picking Jeb Bush for a running mate? There's pressure being made that he should pick a woman - and I agree! Please, oh please....let it be CONDOLEEZA RICE! I'm a fan! But considering her vast experience, and added that she's a woman, and she's Black, and she's got the dignified poise to counter Trump's "rough" edges - she'll be the perfect choice! http://thehill.com/news/campaign/278101-gop-women-push-trump-on-vp-pick Who do you think it should be? I would like to see this guy Ben Carson as VP. I watched and listened to him the other day being interviewed by a reporter on TV who was trying to make Trump to look like the devil himself. Carson was cool, calm and collected and responded with just the right answers to her questions, and not giving her an inch in her wanting to make Trump look bad. She asked Carson a question at the end of the show, and Carson replied, is that suppose to be a "I got you question". They both laughed it off and the interview ended. Carson will know how to deal with the anti-Trump media without a problem. With Trump and Carson running the show, the establishment liberal media are screwed. Those two will have the answers for the media. Quote
